I genuinely went to the course thinking its all going to be obvious stuff I have heard before and thought ''lets just get it over with'
I came away with new knowledge of driving laws and driving techniques that I didnt know about and never thought of that I could actually use to improve my driving. Cant believe I am saying this, I have been driving for years and thought there was nothing else I could learn but the info I did get is actually brilliant and useful.

The two instructors on the day were very open, friendly, and not at all judgmental or lecturing in style.
My fellow attendees and I felt very comfortable asking questions and checking our understanding of anything were weren't sure about in the course content.
Personally, I much prefer any courses to be face to face as it is much more person centered than doing it remotely online

I was a little anxious before attending the course as this was my first (and last) time. The course was great, very easy to follow and we were not made to feel bad, I learnt things I didn’t know and brushed up on things I did. I would recommend if you need to book a course to book this one. Thanks to Paul for his guidance and help.

The course was presented in a very professional manner, it made you think about things and what to look out for, made you more aware. The instructor was really friendly and put you at ease you didn’t feel you were put on the spot. He was very fair. Highly recommended course

Excellent course, like most people, I was dreading having to attend for a speeding offence, but the time actually flew by.
The trainer was very professional and kept everyone engaged throughout. There was no finger-pointing or making anyone feel guilty—just straight facts, helpful tips, and great discussions.

I recently attended a Speed Awareness course and I can't thank the facilitators Rosie and Sam enough. They put everybody at ease which prompted an active participation by all. The course delivery was exemplary as I learnt so much about the maximum speed which should be adhered to in specific locations. I was shocked at the stopping distance if driving 31MPH. The laws of motion intrigued me and has caused me to be fully aware of my driving speed.
The use of videos, forward thinking and observational skills have helped me immensely as when I am driving I am now more aware and focused whereas previously I was quite complacent. Thank you so much Rosie and Sam. You have both made me become a better driver.

Found this course extremely beneficial and great to be offered this opportunity, as opposed to receiving points and a speeding fine.
This would not have happened if driving in Scotland, where I live. Speeding offence was south of the border. Trainer was welcoming, approachable, professional and knowledgeable. This felt like a great refresher driving course and provided extremely valuable learning opportunities. Participants are helped to put together an action plan to benefit their future driving.

I thought it would be boring right from the get go, but in all honesty, it was very interesting and informative. The bit about stopping distances between 30MPH & 31MPH really surprised me. And although I have fibromyalgia & the last 30 minutes or so the fatigue was starting to kick in from being sat for too long, I managed to stay focused all the way through to the end. (Even if I was the only person fidgeting like I had ants in My pants)

Glad I completed the course, was a good refresher, reminder of the risks involved to self and others of unsafe driving.

The Speed Awareness course did just that, making me think that just a slight increase in speed can cause a major increase in injuries in a collision. Also to pay more attention to potential hazards, and road traffic signs especially 20 and 30 mph. The trainers were excellent, there was a good atmosphere in the classroom with people asking and answering questions, and generally participating. I would recommend attending the course rather than online.

Excellent location, trainers approached the subject with a sensible and mature approach. Patience and willing to engage.

Get yourself on this speed awareness course. I had to do it but recommend it for every driver. It's only 96 pounds and it will make you a better driver and maybe even save your life or someone elses.

The course was well structured and exceptionally well delivered and the course leader / tutor (Michael) could not have been more helpful throughout the course, making sure sure everyone was very much aware of the content and purpose of the course and he also encouraged everyone to participate throughout. Excellent. Thank you.

I did the speed awareness course, Gianluigi V. was the instructor - he was excellent, friendly, professional, enthusiastic. I really learned a few things and it left me with a strong intention, and plan, not to speed in the future, for many good reasons, not lease because it typically doesnt actually get you there materially faster, thanks!

been motoring for 62 years and thought I was a safe driver who kept to the speed limits, obviously not and got caught out, trainers were excellent and friendly and the course well structured. would recommend everyone take it as I learn a lot

I found the speed awareness course excellent in content and delivery. The trainer (Keith) was professional and informative. It refreshed my own knowledge and I felt he created a safe and supportive learning environment for all. The course was delivered with a bit of humour and a human touch also which helped a lot!

Couldn't fault it. I thought 3 hours would be far too long but it wasn't. I learned a lot and I changed my negative view of speed cameras as just a cynical way for authorities to make money.
The two guys,Manny and Lawrence were a perfect double act. Playing good cop and bad cop. Manny was the stern one but he managed a few light hearted moments.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this course but not just for offenders like me but for anyone who currently holds a driving licence. Also why not put it on the school curriculum?

Been driving for 44 years and consider myself to be a pretty good driver. I try and keep to the speed limit. Obvs didn’t and got caught on camera. Chose to complete an online speed awareness course to avoid points on my licence.
So glad I did - I would recommend this course to all drivers and think it should be mandatory for all learner drivers.
