L’allestimento merita, nonostante il biglietto un po’ costoso in proporzione allo spazio visitabile.
Due cose mi hanno lasciato particolarmente deluso:
- La mia accompagnatrice ha pagato prezzo pieno, in quanto non possiede una Ducati (a dire il vero, non ha nemmeno una moto, era in sella con me). Non il massimo per una che si è pazientemente fatta 700 km per avvicinarsi a questa passione, e se ne farà altri 700 per tornare a casa. Strategie becere di marketing e psicologia sociale da quattro soldi.
- C’è un tempo limite per visitare il museo di 45 minuti: non bastano minimamente per approfondire tutto. COVID o non COVID (vi dico che la struttura era vuota, dieci visitatori in tre ore, compresi i bambini piccoli), è inutile riempirsi tanto la bocca della parola “passione” se poi tratti i tuoi clienti come bestiame da macello 🐄

Vi invito comunque ad andare al museo, perché il comportamento di qualche burocrate zelante non può rovinare decenni di buon lavoro e sacrificio fatti dai tanti che lavorano lì; ma vi esorto anche a rimanere più del tempo prescritto, come forma di protesta civile e recupero della passione: ormai ovunque c’è qualche grigio benpensante che sta ammazzando le emozioni e le passioni nel nome della freddezza dei numeri.
Cara Ducati, inutile spendere tanto in comunicazione e marketing se poi ti contraddici nei fatti: rischi di fare come fanno tutte le grandi aziende, ipocrisia e chiacchiere.

The MOST difficult insurance provider I have EVER dealt with. Their documents were eroneous to the extreme - bore no resemblance to the proposal I submitted...then started hiking up the price, THEN had to cheek to want to charge £30 to make the changes !! What a scam. Harsh, hard-nosed representatives with no knowledge of the model range, just chasing CASH & FEES. I refused on the basis that my proposal was 100% correct and THEIR documents were in error. I will NEVER use Ducati Insurance again - the DUCATI brand has now been tainted forever. Having owned several Ducatis over the years, I now feel the DUCATI brand has become synomous with conceit & greed - VERY Disappointed with DUCATI - time to change to a more customer focused brand. I suggest all Ducati Owners think twice about using Ducati Insurance - it's way above normal premiums and is just a complete rip-off. Ducati ought to be ashamed of how their Insurance division is operated. I will be writing to Claudio Domenicali personally, to express my disgust and disappointment of Ducati Insurance.
Purchased a new Panigale V2
Purchased a new Panigale V2, delivered from dealer to my house would not start, got sorted in the end, few weeks later leaking coolant, told by another dealer who is closer by, no need to worry as they all leak a bit ?, few weeks after this took into same dealer for first service, went to pick up, was told cannot take it home as leaking, but minor, they would not lend a bike, had to get a lift 45 miles back home, took 3 1/2 weeks to replace the coolant clip as not many staff but are very busy, asked 3 other dealers if they would help, no interest at all, called Ducati not able to get an answer at all, emailed Ducati in UK and Italy, still not come back to me over 3 weeks later, sadly Ducati bikes and their service is still in the dark ages as I was warned, not surprised Italy is billions in debt over many years, useless service, sold back to dealer, conclusion buy another bike, never had issues with many other manufactures for 25 years.

Monopattino Ducati e assistenza clienti non all’altezza di un’eccellenza Made in Italy. In sei mesi di utilizzo è stato portato in assistenza 2 volte per lo stesso problema, la prima è stato risolto senza nessun costo mentre la seconda volta sempre per lo stesso problema mi hanno chiesto €200 pur essendo ancora in garanzia. Ho aperto 2 ticket sul sito Ducati ma nessuno mi ha mai contattato. Ora mi rivolgerò ad un legale per cercare di risolvere questo disservizio.

Jeg har prøvet at lave en aftale med jer om afhentning af en bike der havde brug for check up og en rigtig nummerplade og vi endte med dagbøder for mere end 100000 bath men biken, der var ved at blive klargjort til en event er i mellemtiden blevet væk og der er brug for at ringe rundt og opklare og den napper i ikke ihvertfald om det var at kunden er helt uden overblik på opgaven
Took my Ducati 959 for repair on…
Took my Ducati 959 for repair on insurance and to be checked over following a rear end shunt. Ducati La Rochelle France had the bike for over 3 months, when I collected it I was told there was no paperwork/guarantee. Once home on closer inspection all they had done was flash over the swing arm without removing it, there was overspray on components and dirt still on the connections to the engine. I wrote to customer services and asked them if they thought this was good practice following a rear end shunt......they did not reply. It’s worse because at the dealership I requested that they removed the swingarm to check for hidden damage but they didn’t bother even though I left written instruction to do so. They have release an accident damaged bike without ensuring it is safe to ride. I informed the dealer that I was not happy and that the paint finish (which I didn’t want) is so thin the primer is visable through, his reply was an invitation to buy a new bike from them. Workmanship 2nd rate on part of the exhaust.
"Ducati uk" seem to believe that this is not the case matter closed . Same old story take your money and are not interested after that, I didn't expect this from a supposedly high end company as "Ducati uk" !
I dont suppose that the "customer service dept" would know a first class piece of engineering if it hit them bang straight between the eyes!
Still never mind the small man gets shafted again eh!

Ducati insurance…
Just went to renew my Ducati insurance and realised that that the quote had NO cover if the bike was stolen within 500 meters of my home. This was different to last years policy that had a double excess payment if stolen within 500 meters of my home. This was not made clear in any of the written paperwork. I thought Ducati where a quality brand and not a bunch of cowboys. Oh. They outsourced the insurance with their Brand name on the paperwork so I assume they think it is not their fault. If you outsource with your brand then YOU take the hit to your reputation.

Molti i pregi, come la tenuta del valore, basti pensare a quanto sono ricercate e valgono anche monster di 20 anni fa, dovuto alla grande richiesta ancora oggi visto il fascino dei modelli ducati, per certi modelli col passare degli anni anzichè scendere il valore risale, come per i 916 996 998 e altre che sono sempre più rare e costose.
Davvero moto stupende da comprare e tenere per sempre, delle meraviglie che restano splendide.
Ottima affidabilità che negli anni è diventata paragonabile alle moto Jap, buona e preparata anche la rete assistenza e l'ottima disponiblità dei concessionari e ducati nel trattare coi guanti i clienti.
Ducati marca eccellente e di prestigio, la consiglio!!!
