Bought an item that got stuck during shipping, contacted ECS who said that I have to wait 1 month until they contact fedex and refused to issue a refund until tis get settled. The tracking number showed that the item was somehwere and did not change status for weeks but still they did not want to issue a refund knowing that it was not my fault. I created a Paypal claim and finaly got my money back. Now I tried to make an new order and noticed that it was "under review", to find out after calling them that they blocked me from using Paypal, debit or credit card, and was only to buy using Wire transfer? Sound like they blocked me from using any payment way that protect me (the customer)...
ECStuning is PURE GARBAGE.

Garbage, ordered head gasket kit to the wrong address on accident. Called and updated same day and they still sent it to the wrong address, their information STILL says it went to the correct updated address. There is a huge issue in the business departments if they can not keep track of their deliveries. It arrived broken and I tried to get a replacement sent out after sending pictures of the broken one still in package and they gave me a hard time wanting to return the broken one. They will go under eventually without a shift in business processes. Good luck if you order form here.

Replacing a clutch for e46 m3. Sent a new clutch with the incorrect parts. OK I guess that can happen. Getting them to back up their order was painful. At one point told me the company they received the clutch from was out of business so nothing they could do. Got them to agree to refund and another similar part but would not ship their part until after received the defective order. Finally returned the part and purchased for a better company. Tried to do there customer service review but even that didn't work.

My second time ordering from them, great prices and excellent shipping , delivery on time and great communication, I cited them to FCP Euro when they missed the delivery deadline. Thanks for a great experience

Everything from waiting time frame and price wise was great except didn't come with installation instructions.

Easy to use and search for the parts that i needed. I like the kits they offer for some repairs.Great site to find hard to find items for my CC

First, great customer service. Good pricing on all German automobile parts. Usually has items in stock and provides a good warranty on parts.

BLUF (bottom line up front) - paid for 1 day shipping, then they still only shipped it ground shipping.

I ordered parts on 9 Jul with an expected ship date of 15 Jul. And arrival date of 16 Jul. Once FedEx received my package, I noticed it was NOT 1 day shipping, it was only ground shipping. (ground shipping was a free option for my order). But I needed the parts ASAP, so I paid for the overnight option.

When I contacted ECS they blamed FedEx (accusing them of "changing the label"). Well, hopefully I will receive my parts 3 days later than expected. And of course, ECS did not offer anything for their shipping department error (that they finally admitted).
They only offered me the additional shipping fee they charged. I should have looked elsewhere! I will never trust them again.

They sent parts that didn’t fit, their phone support is fake (endless bouncing through robo-labyrinth), their chat support might as well be. Then, their web bot authorized a return for the problem parts, except the oroblem parts. Sickening.

Update: gave them one more try, and phone support materialized this time… all fixed, including immediate remediation of the screw-up.

I have been a long-time customer and have consistently experienced excellent service. The shipping is prompt, the prices are competitive, and the packaging is always secure. This company is my preferred choice for purchasing parts.

This company has what they call a lifetime replacement on parts. You read the page and you think wow yeah I don't have to worry if the part fails it will be covered. We'll jokes on you. If you go a step more on the liftetime replacement page that says click here clicked to see the process which most won't you will find out you only get a credit on the account. You must repurchase the part at full price. It is a bait and switch. Do not purchase parts from here go to other sites that actually cover the parts not force you to buy more from them.

First off - Great Selection of Tuning Products for European Car Enthusiasts. I was able to find products specific to my tuning needs. Second - Pricing is Budget Friendly. The products I purchased, didn't break my bank and shipping was free (quick too). Third - The Customer Service is Top Notch. One instance involved me just completing a purchase, and just a while after, I received a promo code from registering for a drawing; I requested if I could take advantage of the code to the order, and ECS obliged.

Parts came in time, except for a slight delay, part was out. As on as it came in, it was sent. Good work men.

Get rid of LIFETIME REPLACEMENT or STAND by it....youre not replacing anything if youre making me buy another one...This is False advertising and a SCAM...buyers beware...Total bullshit...they dont stand by what they sell...buy somewhere else where they offer real warranty

I purchased a pair of downpipes and the wrong size clamps were included. ECS wouldn't ship the correct parts until they received the wrong parts!

No Trust

Placed a costly order for a new suspension kit. Received the order to find that inside ECS's box the part supplier's packaging was opened and it looked like the parts were just dumped back into the ECS box. Struts were outside of the individual boxes the OEM used for the original shipping.

Immediately called ECS who noted that the shipment contained an "open box returned item". New items were on backorder so take it or leave it but the order was covered by their warranty. Car was in the shop with the parts mostly installed when we realized that one wire adaptor was missing.

ECS was great at helping replace the missing part but the whole process took a couple weeks.

Disappointing to spend over $2k on new parts to then be stuck waiting on missing items because the order was fulfilled with open box returns.

Recently bought a used Audi A4 Allroad that came with the base carrier roof rack bars. The owner had lost the keys and her son popped the locks to get the end caps off, so they were just hanging there unsecured. I thought it would be easy enough to find the lock cylinder code and get new keys, but boy was I wrong.

After days of searching online for replacement part numbers I landed on a page on ECS that only showed up after a google search for a specific Audi OE part number (and did not show up when searching inside the ECS website itself). I reached out to customer service with the ECS part number for the roof rack I have (available on their website), the ECS set of lock cylinders I had found, a description of exactly what I was looking for, and a request to verify that the lock cylinder set on ECS's website was a match for the roof rack I have. I was told verbatim "Replacing the lock cylinders from this set would be very difficult. I recommend replacing the entire unit: [link]".

The thing is, I had already removed the lock cylinders from the end caps which was VERY easy to do with only a small flat head screwdriver. I get it, sales people make sales so I shrugged off the lack of willingness to look into my fairly specific request, and replied asking again to verify if the part number for the lock cylinders I asked about would work for the roof rack I also already asked about. This time I included photos of the lock cylinders I had removed. The reply I got said "These should work!". So I went ahead and ordered them. 2 weeks later I found out that they in fact did not work, and because I live in Hawaii, the shipping cost + the return shipping and shipping for a different item was going to cost half as much as the lock cylinders themselves. I called customer service to explain all of this and to ask if there was a way to at least get a credit for the cost of shipping. The part I later found I needed was more expensive, and I was prepared to pay the difference.

Mariah was the person who helped resolve my issue and let me just say, after a disappointing initial customer service interaction, she was phenomenal. She heard me when I walked her through me doing my due diligence in researching, and got me the correct part sent out, for no additional shipping cost AND no return shipping cost to me. Mariah is the reason I gave 5stars, and why I continue to trust ECS Tuning as a reliable resource for VW/Audi parts. Thanks Mariah!

Ridiculous experience. Will never deal with again. After waiting weeks for my order to arrive, found they sent wrong items. Wanted me to return the wrong items before they sent out new order. Promised a quick turn around, but it took a couple weeks again. Replacement items arrived finally, and they were worse than the 1st order. A bunch of promises by customer service, and they were all bull. Never again.
