Dreadful service
It took 13 days from placing the order on 21 Augfor an Electrician to attend. After a week the report had not arrived. I made 3 phone over 5 days for the company to inform me that the electrician had not made the report and had gone abroad. Following a further visit by an electrician I eventually received the report on 10 September. Dreadful service. I would not use company again.

Speedy efficient and cheap!
They contacted me within 36 hours of my making the booking and they came a couple of days later. The energy certificate was with me a day or so after the visit. Talk about efficient! It was so smooth from beginning to end I would most definitely use again and i would recommend. I was quoted £145 by the estate agents so saved a lot of money with this company.

Easy to book, pay and book an Engineer
This was a good straight forward easy website to use. In fact I can't praise it enough. They have obviously thought about the end user as I had no problem giving my information and was contacted the next day with an engineer to book an appointment to carry out the inspection. And the price was far less than I expected. And the certificate arrived via email the next day. Cannot recommend this service enough.

Nationwide Surveyors gave a quote 23% cheaper
Most people make sure you've hung up the phone before they call someone an idiot, not only was this company's sales team rude, they also sent 3 emails and called me-not surprising when they're charging so much more than the competition

Paid £170 for electrical safety check and certificate the person who came was at the house twenty minutes max told me he was not allowed to tell me the result of tests two days later I had to phone for an answer..

Had two property's checked on the same…
Had two property's checked on the same day 1 property as very quick 3 days to get the results 2nd property 10 days of chasing them every time being told it would be uploaded before the end of the the day it never was.
In the end I had to lose my temper with someone after being told again the it would be done before end of the day bearing in mind it was 4.30 at this point so I asked them to forget about the report and issue a refund to which I was told I would need to be put on hold while they asked the manager about a refund after 5 minutes of waiting the woman came back on the phone and said sorry but because they have just uploaded the results while i was on hold they couldn't give me a refund.
I genuinely feel I got a bad rating (f) because I complained about the poor service and made it clear i was not happy about the service.
I will now pay for a second epc check with a different company and see what rating it gets if its not the same as the first test then i will look into recovering my fees from this company.

We also appreciate how frustrating it must have been to then request a refund, only to be advised that the report had been uploaded while you were waiting on hold. We can absolutely understand why you felt let down by the service you received.
We certainly would not want any customer to feel that raising concerns or expressing dissatisfaction has influenced the outcome of their assessment. The assessment and rating of a property should be based solely on the findings recorded by the qualified assessor, and your concerns regarding this are something we would be very happy to investigate further.
We’re very sorry that we have left you feeling that you need to arrange a second EPC assessment elsewhere, and we would really appreciate the opportunity to review the order and the communication surrounding it. On Wednesday 9th September, I paid for an EPC to be carried out, received an email the next morning saying I would be contacted within 24hrs (as advertised on website). It is now the 14th and have not been contacted. I emailed them on Friday and asked for a refund if they did not contact me that day, received reply to say they would contact me in 1-2 working days. I would not recommend this company totally unreliable and a waste of time. I will contact my credit card company to rescind the payment.

We also appreciate that, having already contacted us on Friday and requested a refund if you were not contacted that day, receiving a further response advising that you would be contacted within 1–2 working days would have been incredibly frustrating.
You should not have had to chase us for an update, particularly when the initial communication provided a clear expectation of when you would hear from us. We are very sorry that we have fallen short of those expectations and left you feeling that your time and money had been wasted.
We would really appreciate the opportunity to look into this personally and see what happened with your order and why the expected contact did not take place.
