Erna Low Ski Holidays Reviews 

This is the second time we’ve used Erna Low for booking and they are the most helpful and patient team I’ve experienced. Being as knowledgeable as they could be about the resorts and responding so quickly to my questions. They take the pain out of finding a holiday that’s ticks multiple boxes. Thanks Charlie!

It was a very easy booking experience and Callum was very helpful when it came to picking the right hotel and resort. The only issue we had was that when we arrived we found out that the ski passes had been booked for the wrong dates but this was sorted by the resort staff

I write this review in respect of Erna Lowe service - not the apartment or resort we stayed in. From the start I found the details of my booking incorrect regarding ski hire. I had to repeatedly ring / message to co firm the correct booking as the equipment hire varied for each party member. The details you can see on your online booking are very vague and more of a summary, it would be helpful if it was itemised much clearer. When we arrived in resort, Tignes 1800, we discovered the ski lessons I had booked were not in the handy ESF school near our apartment but in a resort 2 bus rides away. This was a disaster and I feel a massive mistake by Erna Lowe. Being “specialist” they surely should have booked lessons which were accessible to guests not impossibly ble to reach for 09:30 each morning. I rang Erna Lowe and the staff member said they would sort it and ring me back. They rang me in a while and confirmed that the lesson had been moved to Tignes 1800 and the voucher amended. The voucher never amended. We went to the ESF office in Tignes 1800. The ski lessons were still in Val Claret and the 1800 class was full. This was a complete disaster and potential holiday ruined as it was 2 bus journeys to reach Val Claret. After much persuasion we got the lessons changed thankfully. I was extremely disappointed with this lack of knowledge, ability to rectify issues they created and any follow on communication with me to ensure things were sorted. I expected resort knowledge to ensure correct things booked.

Pros: Good location & accomodation, ski-in and out, easy access to equipment shop, meal option worked well, overall good value
Cons: information on meal option very hard to find out - should be part of original booking info, bus transfers and timetables and synchronising with flights not explained when booking was a real oversight
Key message: check all the details when booking

I would definitely use Erna Low again! As a company I hadn’t heard of before I was a bit sceptical but everything was exactly as described on booking and we had an amazing holiday for a group of 8 in Val Thorens.
We stayed at Chalet Altitude which was lovely, a slightly awkward layout with only 2 toilets and one of them being an en-suite so 6 people shared 1 toilet, but the apartment was lovely and the kitchen/lounge area was perfect for chilled evenings.
The flights, ski hire and lift passes were all very easy, the only downside was the ski hire was quite a distance from the apartment despite there being a few shops really close, but it worked out fine at the end of the week as was on the slopes to finish.
The private transfers were very well organised and arrived on time both ways, the only downside was the driver was crazy and almost crashed/got into fights on multiple occasions which made for quite uncomfortable journeys, but we got to and from the resort safely and can’t criticise how well organised they were.
Overall a fab holiday!

Great holiday, accommodation excellent and despite a couple hiccups would use erna low again. The ski pass option was preselected when I booked but this was not the pass for the entire Paradis ski area being limited to Les Arcs. In addition, I was eligible for a seniors discount on the pass of €70. Again this option was not clear or missing on their website and I missed out on this discount.

We had a nice holiday with Erna Low. It was a tiny bit cheaper that's the competitors, so that's why we went with them. We did have issues with the booking confirmation, but contacted Erna Low who sorted it out. All good.

Great service, respond to any questions really quickly. This was our first time using them and would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again. Also very competitively priced.

First time using Erna Low to book our Ski trip and they were great. Very helpful and excellent service - answered any questions very quickly.

The accommodation was exactly as described, the transfers easy, the communication great (the team were so helpful in adding people to our group and breaking down the costs for us etc) and we had a really great time - such good value for money!
My only criticism is that they booked us a 6am transfer on our leaving day which got us to the airport with five hours to kill. In an ideal world it would’ve been great if we’d been offered the option of paying a little more to get a more convenient transfer that didn’t see us having to be in transit for 12 hours of the day for a 3 hour bus and a 2 hour flight, but I understand that there were unlikely other shared buses going at a time that would have got us there for our flight.

Be careful what you buy, my apartment came with no bedding, no pillows, no towels, no toilet roll, no nothing! 40 minute walk to collect your keys, £500 deposit (don’t forget to picture everything to get your deposit back) and need to clean the apartment so it sparkles to retain your money.

We book a last minute trip for 2 and got a fantastic deal on a great hotel with ski passes. Easy to book and vouchers easy to use. Would definitely use Erna Low again!

Erna Low arrangements were all excellent and this would be rated as 5 stars. The accommodation was also very good. The apartment we had overlooked and had easy access to the slopes- great . However, our holiday was spoilt by the very loud Apres Ski bar that was less than a 100m from our apartment . The music, which was 95- 105db in the piazza, 74 db on our balcony and 46 db inside our apartment, was played between 4.00pm - to 8.00 - 10.00pm each evening. You could feel it pounding through your body inside the apartment. It was not helped on Friday evening when the entertainment in the hotel then started between 10.15pm - midnight! If you are looking for a quiet evening, in La Thuille, in the Planibel centre, I recommend you ask for an apartment facing away from the centre. We asked to move our apartment but this was not possible.

Wow - What a trip! Fabulous snow conditions and weather for the whole week in Tignes. Great stay at the VoulezVous Hotel, so close to the Pistes, great food and staff made our stay very special.

The whole experience of booing with Erna Low was so simple and removed any stress, allowing us to just enjoy our holiday.

Just returned from an amazing week ski trip in Val disere. Everything was perfect and went smoothly.

We travelled to Austria and stayed in Kaprun . Erna Low were very good on price and made the holiday very easy with their website an updates to print off all vouchers required, easy to follow and they kept me updated by messages all the way by email or me calling them . 10/10
