First family ski trip for a week in Les Gets.
The apartment were great- basic but everything you could need with two children and plenty of space. But the best bit was the swimming pool- we had it ourselves most days, kids could continue to burn off energy while grown ups chilled in the hot tub!
The only little niggle is that as the apartment was self clean, we left it much cleaner than we arrived.
10 mins from the main lift, and the ski lockers at the gondola made it easier.
Ski hire and ski pass all so easy to access with pre booking with Erna Lowe, and staff were so helpful when I had questions about the flight.
We were dubious about booking a package after years of doing it our self- but would defiantly do it again! So easy and perfect

La Rosiere with Erna Low
The customer service was excellent and initial contact plus continued support through and leading up to our holiday was reassuring and accurate. We were staying literally 20 metres from the ski lifts in La Rosiere.
Accommodation was good with heated boot/ ski room very close to our room. Would say that studios for 2 in Roc Noir are quite small with pull out bed , but this is reflected in very competitive price and not really an issue for us.
Whilst transfers were very comfortable and efficient waiting times for a shared transfer were long. ( 3 hours when we arrived) . As a result of late flight out of Bristol this meant that we didn’t get to our accommodation until 1am. We were informed by the company that return transfer would get us to airport 5 hours before the flight.
So transfers were our only gripe. Otherwise a well organised, easy to work with company.
Have been coming to La Rosiere for 20 years so know the resort well. If you want to avoid lift queues this is a great alternative to the busier resorts around Bourg St Maurice with pistes in North facing La Thuile in very good condition( mid March).
Would certainly use Erna Low again but might choose private or alternative transfers to those used and really the only reason I haven’t given 5 stars.

Nothing was done. No one visited, no help if we could have returned home we would have been off.

Generally excellent service. Noticed coach transfer was only 1 hour 10 mins after flight due to land. Given the issue with getting through French passport control this seemed that we would almost certainly miss our coach. Rang Erna low and within 20 mins had been transferred to a later bus. All good.

Administrative chaos and significant financial loss – Avoid.
I am writing this to warn others about the staggering level of administrative incompetence I experienced with Erna Low during my recent trip to Bansko. What should have been a seamless holiday was marred by two major failures that have left me significantly out of pocket.
1. The "Hidden" Half Board
I booked Half Board, yet prior to leaving for my Ski Trip, I was told this was not the case. I was forced to pay for dinner out every single night, averaging €86 per night. Upon returning home, the hotel confirmed that Half Board was included in my booking all along. Despite spending over €600 on meals I had already paid for, Erna Low has offered a measly £300 refund—only just covering half of my additional expenses.
2. Lift Pass Errors & Overcharging
The lift pass situation was equally shambolic. My booking confirmation (2nd Dec 2025) clearly stated my son’s age as 12. At Bansko, 12-year-olds are not "children" for ticketing; they require a student/teen pass. Erna Low failed to account for this despite the data being right in front of them, leading to a pricing dispute of £141 that they are still refusing to rectify.
Summary: Erna Low’s records are a mess. They don't seem to know what they've booked with the hotels, and they don't understand the age categories of the resorts they sell. To add insult to injury, their "resolution" offers don't even cover the literal cash I had to spend due to their mistakes.
Avoid them unless you want to spend your return flight calculating your losses.

We pride ourselves on delivering seamless winter holidays, and it is clear that on this occasion, we fell short of our own high standards.
We want to address both of your concerns directly and clarify the steps we have taken to remedy the situation.
1. The Half Board Misunderstanding
Bansko is a new resort partnership for us, and unfortunately, a genuine miscommunication occurred regarding your catering package. We completely understand your frustration at having to pay out-of-pocket for evening meals.
Because we did not receive itemised receipts for your evening meals, we could not match an exact external spend. Instead, we calculated a fair reimbursement based on the specific price difference between the "Room Only" and "Half Board" rates at your hotel. This was discussed with and accepted by you before we processed the refund. Despite this, we regret any frustration caused.
2. Lift Pass Discrepancy
You are entirely correct that your son’s age was clearly stated on your December booking. Our system failed to align his age with Bansko’s specific resort ticketing brackets (where 12-year-olds fall into the student/teen category). This was our oversight.
To rectify this, we immediately refunded the lift passes in question, and we issued a further refund to cover the exact financial difference between our advertised price and the in-resort price you were faced with, relative to the same standard pass.

I’ve been an avid E.L customer for probably close to 20 years. I find the booking process pretty straightforward and the fact that I can email, chat with a real person if I need to reassuring (I didn’t need to..). My personal preference is self drive and to me this is where they excel, you wouldn’t think a package would be a bonus, but it is. Put simply their process works well, and though they are still a small company, even as part of NUCO they definitely care! You might find a holiday slight cheaper but you won’t get the support you need, when you really need it in such a niche market.

After a few teething problems with the booking, the sales team couldn’t have been any more helpful. (Sean in particular)
Never used before, and had my reservations when booking, but couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The journeys went very smoothly, transfers were all on time, and new spot was to die for. Will deffo be using again.

Great experience with Erna Low
We have used Erna Low for a number of bookings for our Ski holidays. They are very responsive, knowledgeable and patient with my incessant questions.. they also have in -resort experience and so are able to give first hand advice and recommendations for restaurants, bars, good slopes etc. The accomdations we have had have been great. In the past I used to self book everything- the accomodation, ski passes, kit hire etc but Erna Low have very competitive prices and the more additions to the package the greater the discount which can actually make it cheaper- (though do check and shop around as some resorts have family ski pass deals which Erna Low can't access, and I have always booked ski hire separately as can select a specific shop and get good discounts from previously used companies) plus you get the peace of mind that they are there to help if anything goes wrong. We will definitely be using them again for our next holiday :-)
