My heater stopped working mid-November. Since the shop didn't accept EB (SMART GUYS!), I had to pay $700 out of pocket to replace the blower motor & resistor. I had to finance it, because I'm on a fixed income and don't have that kind of money lying around. I'd paid almost that much for my premiums already, and called trying to cancel. It was the weekend, so of course there was no one who could do the cancellation. Ok, fine. Another $100 charge hits, I decide maybe it's worth keeping for some other repairs I might need down the line.
3rd week of December, heater stops working again. I take it back to the shop, they check their work and the replacement parts are fine, so they advise it may be an electrical issue, outside their wheelhouse. So I make an appointment with the dealership for Friday, 1/2/2025 at 8 AM. Give the service advisor my EB info, then never hear back all weekend. Call at 10:30 AM today 1/5, service advisor tells me it's the TIPM that's bad ($2200), and a couple other issues I should take care of, totalling over $4300. Tells me he'd only just now finally heard back from EB and they're covering EXACTLY NOTHING. 🤬 Furthermore, it may take WEEKS to get the TIPM.
I take care of my 91 year old mother. We live out in the desert and I CANNOT be without transportation for a month! I figure, maybe I can get a rental car through EB, since I've now paid them at least $800 and have gotten nothing but frustration and crap customer service. That does NOT seem to be an outrageous request to anyone with an ounce of integrity and an actual commitment to customer service.
Call EB, tell them my issue. OF COURSE they don't cover car rentals if the work being done isn't covered. I'm FURIOUS. I tell the guy I want to talk to someone NOW. He says it's better for me to get a call back ("It could be in just a few minutes, but within 24 hours") instead of waiting on hold. That was 2+ hours ago.
So now I'm gonna call and cancel, tell them to refund my premiums since now I've got to rent a car for who knows how long AND pull 4 grand out of my ass somehow to fix my van, because these people are SCAMMERS who sell a "bumper to bumper" warranty but as all these 1⭐ reviews are testament to, will find ANY reason not to cover the work.
Edit to add: The app is non-functional and the website is useless.
Post-scammer reply edit: Now I must PAY to cancel this contract, which has covered exactly NOTHING, EVER. Funny how quickly they respond to bad reviews, but not to actually being HELPFUL. Zero stars, RUN AWAY.
IT'S A GRIFT! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I made a claim on behalf of my customer and Mr. Rod Hicks was very helpful along the claim process. I was able to give the good news to the customer that the repairs would be covered, and as soon as the repairs were done Mr. Hicks called to pay for the repairs. Today, I had the pleasure of receiving service from a gentleman by the name of Mr. Hugo, and I am compelled to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service he provided. Mr. Hugo demonstrated not only professionalism but a deep and extensive knowledge of his field that truly reassured me and impressed me beyond measure.
Moreover, Mr. Hugo's kindness and courteous demeanor was evident from the outset, which in turn, made the entire experience truly pleasant and memorable. I am immensely grateful for the exceptional support and the genuine care that he extended throughout our interaction today as his care for me was truly evident in his communication and throughout every interaction that we had. I’ve been with everything breaks for three or four years. I no longer needed their services. I tried to cancel my policy. They absolutely would not let me cancel it. He spent more than five minutes, trying to talk me into just keeping their services. It was horrible. He ignored everything I was telling him and went onto the next line of his teleprompter. horrible.

Buyer beware. I wanted just an auto-warranty policy. They slipped in a home.warranty policy. I cancelled noth policies in Ocotober, and they are still saying I have the home policy and that I owe them for it. Even though they acknowledge i cancelled both policies. They refuse to take care of the problem and they say it is line 5's problem not their problem.

Everything break are liars, they scam and don’t want to remove non of your card information out the system the people that answer the phone act like they don’t know anything about everything breaks but y’all can see my policy with them and say oh we can help with your cancellation but you will have to get coverage with whatever the f*** is omega warranty JOHN is the person that I spoke too such a liar n let my card keep getting charged y’all ain’t doing nothing but making me document my information and get more ready to sue you guys…. I can’t wait cus this gone be a fun one since y’all act like y’all don’t know what’s going on but can see my shit in the read flag n everything because even if y’all was working with a third party company how can they even see my account get read flag how can they see my information just be lying😂😂😂 I’ll see y’all in court soon!!!
