After placing an order, I'm still waiting for my order, and it has been two months so far and my order is not processed yet due to frame availability (although It was in stock when I placed the order). I keep getting promises of 'shipping soon' every couple of weeks. Not to mention the bad order processing system where you will get charged multiple times and you have to contact customer service and their Bolt payment provided in order to resolve it. I really can't think of any positive thing to mention here.

If you'r like most people and have an eye examination once a year, and have 2 or more prescription glasses, then don't ever buy the 2 year scratch warranty.
They will remake the lens if scratched, but it will be to your old prescription not the new one your eyes got adjusted to.

My entire life, I've paid outrageous fees for spectacles. This website offers a fantastic range in addition to top brands, effective service, and incredibly low prices.

Prices for the same frames that I bought on this website from my optometrist were 60% more.

The Lenses were faulty from the beginning,Right lens cracked shortly after receiving them and were replaced,then the left lens cracked a couple months later and the right lens was visibly scratched,when I returned them I was told that the left would be replaced but they would not replace the right one under warranty! I paid for the anti scratch crystal coating but I don't believe it was applied. What a horrible experience! The staff at the Westport Ct store was very rude! I will never buy anything from them again!

They actually snapped my Flexon frames in 2 at the bridge. No way this was accidental. Anyone that owns flexon frames would know how hard this is to do just by installing lenses.

I ordered glasses and after a week, I was informed by the lab that they could not make my order. I wanted prescription sunglasses but they could not make them with the lens that I ordered, nor could they add the mirror tent to them. That was the whole purpose of my order. I paid this company almost $1000.

When they could not make my order, I cancelled the order. Here we are a week later and they will not refund my money. I've had to file a dispute with my credit card company. I've called and emailed customer service every single day and they will not refund me despite the lenses never being made.

DO NOT order from this company. They are frauds and I will get a lawyer involved if AMEX is not able to rectify the issue.

Not happy with the fact that the lenses clouded over 2 mo after the ‘guarantee’ expired. Never had lenses do this in past and I have been wearing glasses for many years. I was told this was a manufacturing defect and eyeglasses .com cannot be responsible for this. Really? Who exactly should I be dealing with? I was told I can replace lenses. Replacement cost is $450. More than the original lenses cost. When I thought about it, why should I run the risk of another defective pair of glasses that the company I purchased these from will not stand behind their product. That is why I will not be back to eyeglasses.com.
I gave them a star as the original purchase fit well and the frame itself has held up

I sent in my favorite frames to get new lenses. I guess they didn't have the right size, so they melted my frames and put larger lenses in. They are distorted and weirdly shaped now. I can tell they aren't the same size, because in addition to being the glasses I wore every day, they sent the old lenses back, and they are smaller! I am absolutely heartbroken. They fall right off my face because the nose pieces were melted. I can't buy these frames, they don't sell them anymore.

Have you experienced a time where the service was so bad that you can't believe that any business would operate that way?
This is one of those. Long delays with no communication as to what the hold up is.
MELISSA, the one who claims to be the highest in the company you can speak to, was one of the worst customer service experience I've had. That's saying a lot. She was rude, condescending, threatened multiple times to cancel my order if I didn't stop asking questions. Complained that she had to pull all her costumer service reps off the phone because of terrible people like me who complain.

This was an online order and this happened about a month after I sent them in. My glasses were never completed so I canceled anyways.

Everything about this company is bad. If the higher ups in the company let's someone like Melissa do what she does, they must not care either... and it shows. Definitely go somewhere else if you want your glasses completed in a reasonable time and to not get yelled at for asking questions about the delay.

I ordered two pairs from them. I received two clearly counterfeit used and beat frames. I compared them to the real frames at lenscrafters and they were clearly counterfeit. they said i have to pay return shipping as its their "policy" i saw it said the their "policy" that if it were there mistake, they would refund shipping so i said this they said "correct". come time i get my refund they subtracted there shipping cost! and then forged my refund receipt telling me they didnt! and they wouldnt refund the cost i paid to ship back like they said either. STAY FAR AWAY. THEY ARE CHINESE KNOCK OFF DROP SHIP SCAMMERS WHO LIE CHEAT AND STEAL as proven from my experience.

It's been a month and I haven't received my frames!! I called in two weeks ago and she said they were ready to ship. But that was a lie. They have not mailed anything out. I am being held hostage for my glasses!! I ordered from them years ago and they were fine. But now its like a different company, the staff before must have been turned over with a new staff or they have changed their business model (for the worse). It's a shame, they are the opposite of what they once were. In general, it is very hard to trust any online optical vendor period. In fact the entire optical industry is a SCAM in and of itself! I wish I could rid myself of glasses altogether, there is a way to correct your vision naturally. Lasik is out of the question! Dangerous. In fact, I don't think the majority of us needed glasses in the first place! Opticians will mess with your mind in that chair as a young kid and fit you into glasses that you don't need with false prescriptions in order to make money off of you!

I found them for frame replacement. I mailed them in and checked on the status after 4 weeks. Was not able to contact by phone and they never responded to emails or chat! Finally after 8 weeks I was able to have someone answer the phone! I was told that they lost one of my lenses and gave me an option to choose different frames and lenses! I'm now into 3 months later! My frames have been delaminating and crumbling apart as they are apparently made from the plastic or plant based beads you see on TV. I emailed with a picture about it and eventually heard back and they want to send them back to manufacturer! Bearing in mind these are my PRIMARY pair of eyeglasses! I emailed yet again as the frames are getting worse and will probably break at the bridge! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! Buyer beware! I have not gotten a response!!!

i ordered and returned 3 pairs of eyeglasses from this company. Getting help with the refund process was very frustrating and difficult. The help via email was not helpful. The glasses were all very nice but not right for me.

Unfortunately there wasn't a zero review. I've bought glasses from this company for years. Their customer service used to be wonderful. Now they just blow you off. If you already purchased glasses or frames, any defects aren't their problem. If a frame has a defect and you send it back, they charge a restocking fee. If you email customer service, GOOD LUCK! They will read the first two lines of your email then do what they want.
If you ask for a repair or new frames (and I offered to pay for it!) they tell you to take it to a local eyeglass store. I've spent over $2000 on YOUR glasses. WHY would another store want to fix YOUR problem?
Eyeglasses.com asked me for information on this review. Which shows how out of touch they are. I have everything documented. They just need to contact me.

This is an agency, not a glasses company.
They link frame suppliers with lenses manufacturers.
It is a mish-mash of agents, suppliers and labs. Eyeglasses.com must have deals in place with all these suppliers and try to 'organise' them together.
Poorly.
That's why they never know whether any frame on display is in stock. They cannot even call the suppliers to check, they told me. The only way to know is to complete the order and then they'll find out.
Also true is they are very flimsy on customer service responses. The ladies at the other end appear to be a team of put-ups with no idea what the customer needs. They claim to have opticians but when I requested Optical Centre raising, they never even asked me to measure where I would like it moved to.

Needless to say, the lenses centres that arrived were not raised.
Also, I purchased 1.74 lenses, they came as 1.67. When I queried this, they sent me the 'private order' form they had 'to prove it' with a supply manufacturer they used.
Made no difference, as I have been wearing glasses for 30 years and know what 1.74 looks like. Also, smacked of poor service again by sending this to me.

And finally, I only purchased from this company because of the promise of Essilor lenses. What they actually were, I do not know, but they were trash and had terrible distortion. Needless to say, on the order form they had sent me, there was no mention of Essilor.
My summary is, this is a very poor company. A mish-mash of agencies and suppliers put together.
You are paying way too much for way too little and it is definitely not worth it.

I mailed in 2 frames for lens replacement, together worth $500. I got notification when the company received them and began processing them but then had to reach out approx 5 weeks later for an update. I was told two different times over a week apart that my completed order would ship the next day and finally I received a call with the bad news that the shipment was lost by the carrier. EXCEPT, that they refused to give me any shipping details except that it was a shipment *between facilities* and that UPS lost it. I filed a BBB complaint and they tried to tell me that they normally can't issue a refund (for the lens replacement service) in cases where the shipment is lost in transit, but in my case were willing to make an exception. I received my refund in full, and yet they have continued to refuse to account for how $500 worth of my own personal property was actually "lost" -- even through a BBB complaint, they will not give me a tracking number that proves my shipment was actually lost. I'm a small business owner and no client of mine would EVER accept that their personal property was lost in shipping if I couldn't procure a tracking number as proof. Keep the contact info for the Federal Trade Commission and the Connecticut Attorney General handy.

Super great experience from start to finish. Sent in my frames, came back very fast. The lenses are perfect, high quality, the craftsmanship is excellent.

Service is bad. I would rate lower if I could. I am over a month in getting my glasses I purchased on 4/1. The Cust service phone number is a joke. It is pathetic as no one ever answers. If you wait in the queue you are dropped on your turn as there is no mailbox. No follow up or explanation. Email almost as bad, depends if you think a week is a reasonable response time.
