Formula One Autocentres - Heywood Reviews 

Originally ordered a new tyre on line and when turned up at Heywood, Manchester, I was advised they could repair my original tyre. I found this honest approach refreshing. The staff at the centre were friendly and knowledgeable. I had ordered the tyre online and they actioned a refund the next day.
An excellent service all round thanks

Absolutely disgusting My daughter went to formula one auto centre Heywood on 13/11/2025. A young woman with a flat tyre. She paid for a new tyre. Less than 24 hours later the same side tyre was flat again. She returned to the premises in heywood only to be accused of being aggressive and violent when she discussed the issue. We have asked for the CCTV footage She is not confrontational The man she spoke to walked away refusing to speak to her and did not take her telephone calls trying to speak to them. Instead put the phone down DISGRACEFUL SERVICE We now have a better garage to go to in Heywood.

Heywood branch - fantastic customer service. I had a tyre emergency & they were really helpful. Needed to order the tyres in & kept me updated by phone regularly. Can’t fault them, they’ve earned my trust.

Booked new tyres online, next day fitted, on time, impressive. Heywood branch. Thanx lads.

Been goin to f1in heywood fair few times wit no issues at all till i went in on the 25/03/25 for a service...will not be attending again for any service or mot for that matter when it comes to my saftey and others in my vehicle when the day after i found that the wheel on the drivers side had not been tightened could of been a serious issue all together there was a couple of nuts that jus fell out!.reported bk to them and not herd nothing since also given a list of jobs to do on the car i think somebody is creating a list of jobs£££ for nothing my brake fluid was bit iffy but that was it compared to the £650 list they had given absolute joke

Booked, I arrived on the date/time, the price was great, but not just the price why I will be going back when I need to replace my tyres, the group of lads at the garage were fantastic, that’s the real reason why I will be going back…them lads also need more holidays because they are the backbone and a credit to the company……

The staff at your Heywood centre were very good and polite, would use again no problem

Heywood F1 centre is always great to deal with. Helpful and friendly - customer focused even when busy.
I trust them with my Ducato camper every time for service and MOT

This was the first time using Formula One Auto centres, as tyres are expensive I always shop around for the best deals, and normally Blackcircles are my "go to".
On ringing the centre of a price, I was quoted a figure higher than BC's.. but the colleague advised me to go to the website as there was an offer on.. and Bingo! ..BC was undercut.
Booking was easy and paying by PayPal was very convenient.
In store the staff were friendly, punctual and knowledgeable.. she also advised me of a fault, unknown to me, in the tyre she had replaced.
I was also given a full receipt and car tyre "health check" diagram.
Very thorough. I will be back in the future. Keep up the great work guys!!

Went to F1 auto centre in heywood with a slow puncture for a 2nd opinion, after visiting Kwikfit, I had a slow puncture and was told it could not be repaired by Kwikfit who then quoted me £470 for a new tyre!

Boy am I so glad I went to F1 for 2nd opinion, staff where next level, inspected the tyre, let me into the workshop and explained / showed me that it was indeed repairable as was within the main top of tyre, not by the tyre wall as I was previously told.

I can’t highlight enough how good the staff are, attentive, professional and down to earth, people you can actually talk to.

100% impressed by the detail provided and the level of service, outstanding.

Very professional and customer focused, don't just do the job you want doing and that's it, if they spot an underlying issue they tell you about it, very focused on the safety of the customer rather than just doing your repairs you ask for and binning you off for the next customer, Professional service and professional approach from the person on the Desk I now know as Darylanne

The guys were great, put 2 tyres on the car and saved me about £80.00 on the tyres purchased. Had the car tracked the day after, very happy and will be back in the future, big thanks to Jordan and Ian that looked after the job!

My recent experience with Formula One Heywood for my car's MOT was nothing short of excellent. Unfortunately, the car didn't pass the first time, but John from their team stepped in to save the day. He quickly ordered the needed part and arranged a retest for us on the next available slot.

Amazing customer service, very friendly quick and efficient, went in to get car battery changed was done buy Jordan in 5 minutes, definitely recommend.

I was very satisfied with the services, everything was fine, I only gave them 3 stars because every time I went to them (and they are not the only ones who do this) they take your keys with dirty hands, they don't use a seat cover for your car. Every time I got the keys back where dirty and the steering wheel and the gear stick had greasy smears on them.

First time but wont be the last.

Very happy with the work done, the staff were excellent from the first minute to the last. No issue, no drama just professional service at a great price. How it used to be and how it should be.
