Booked my car in with Fastlane for October 28, as they were the first garage that could get hold of a regulator that needed replacing on my car window. Did half the job that day before realising the wrong part had been ordered/arrived. They got the right part (which was more expensive) on October 30 and fitted it late on in the day. When I left the garage, I discovered the regulator hadn't been fitted properly. The driver's side door now didn't lock and the window would wind up to the top then come back halfway down. Took the car back to the garage, they fixed the door having not reconnected the latch properly when fitting the regulator. They then tried to claim that the window issue was now the motor mechanism, which had been damaged by the broken regulator, and would cost more money. After three visits to the garage, this was the first time the motor had been mentioned. When the regulator broke, the motor was working fine. Had they checked the regulator had been fitted properly on October 30 they would have noticed both issues, but strangely didn't mention it at the time.

At every corner they have attempted to hike the price up and now my car has an issue it didn't have when it went into Fastlane. Not to be trusted.

They charged exorbitant prices. As if that’s not enough, they left my car worst off than I sent it to them.
An absolute ripoff!

Please avoid this company at all costs. I booked the car in for diagnostics by their mobile team and advised the agent that it's a Volvo. I was told on the phone that it would cost £144, to which I agreed. However, they ended up taking £177. When the technician came and plugged in their device to run the tests on my car, they found out that their device was unable to connect to the car because Volvo requires their own software to access it, which only Volvo specialist garages have. Therefore, they were unable to run the diagnostics that I needed.

When I spoke to the agent on the phone, I was lied to and told that the car was the reason it wouldn't read and that the car was faulty, not the fact that their tablet wouldn't read the ECU. I had also taken this car to Volvo, and they were able to run diagnostics on the car with no issues.

This company is refusing to give back the money, even though they knew when coming out that they wouldn't be able to check the car. Avoid this company at all costs, a bunch of cowboys.

Beware terrible company paid £298 for estimate for repairs to my static caravan , the man never arrived to assess damage and they said he had and they would not refund my money, luckily paid on my credit card so the bank got my refund, if I could give minus stars I would, very stressful for me.

If you own a classic car do not let these people come to fix it. Don’t have a clue what there looking at and even lied on the diagnostic report just to get the car in the garage for more work. They even put the spark plug leads on the wrong way to create an issue. Tried to get a refund as they are trying to justify £180 for 30 minutes of work (nothing) at my house. 6 phone calls and 2 weeks later still nothing. Just false promises of return calls that never come. Turns out it was a faulty earth cable. Who would have known ayy. Well not this garage of so called specialists. Cowboys

Please don’t pay upfront. Check the work has been done before you pay. We are substantially out of pocket, paid for a full diagnostic test over £500 paid. We only received a visual diagnostic test. Absolute disgrace, caught them out and they won’t refund us. Ripping hard working people off is not acceptable, shame on you all in that garage. Use with caution ⚠️ please.

Went to enquire for gearbox oil change £470 they said they had to order special tools in and drop the entire gearbox really!!?? Absolute numbnuts thieves

First time using this service paid for premium pre purchase inspection report about 240 pounds report ended up with gaps in it mileage wasn't recorded or alternator voltage and no mention of timing belt being changed report came back all green had to call a few times to get update mechanic ended up returning to vehicle to complete received mileage verbally and timing belt not changed verbally still no voltage reading on alternator in fairness call staff tried their best but price seems a bit excessive as I had to chase up missed items a basic report and a phone call by me to seller could have probably saved money

Booked my Nissan Terrano II in for a diagnostic with fastlaneautocare in St Helens for £102. My car failed its MOT so is going to scrap. Called them to cancel the appointment and get a refund. They told me that their T&Cs meant they would keep a £50 cancellation fee.
There are no terms and conditions. I was told these had been emailed to be but they had not.
As somebody else said in a review: AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
I should have read the reviews before I dealt with them. Absolut thieves.

Booked my Bmw in with fastlaneautocare St Helens for a diagnostic check. A very young looking so called mechanic came out failed to fix my cars issue and said it would have to go into their garage for a full diagnostic check as his OBD tool did not have all the software on it. They wanted over £500 for this test. I asked them why charge me £174 for a diagnostic check if the mechanic could not perform a proper check at my house. They replied it would need to go into their garage for this. What a waste of money, This firm is all show and not worth any stars.. AVOD THEM AT ALL COSTS !!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant believe the reviews I'm reading on here, I feel so robbed even more. I waited to do this review to be fair. None of my indicators were working and I rang these they said £150 plus vat they took a £180 out of my account for someone to come out and look at my car for less than an hour. The lad said it needs further investigation an will have to go in there garage an someone will ring me on Monday (this lad came out on the Saturday). I wasn't using the car but o went out the next day to get something out the boot and the fob would not open the car. Turned out the car was completely dead, gut feeling tells me something was done or left on to cause the battery to go flat but I don't have any proof of that. When I spoke to someone they said the notes didn't say anything about the car not working. For someone to collect the car and take it in for further investigation I paid just over £800. I felt stuck as the car wasn't working at all an I felt I'd be starting all over again somewhere else costing more money so I agreed it went in they looked at it and apparently it needed £2000 worth of work done on it. Obviously I said no and I found someone else to collect the car and take it to a garage that was recommended to me. I picked up my car from that garage yesterday and the worked they done cost me £384 an everything is working perfect. I spent around £1000 with fastlane for pretty much nothing if possible always try to go on recommendations. I'm gutted I never came on here to read the reviews before deciding to use them, very expensive lesson learnt for me an a brilliant pay day for them.

The place doesn't fix what you ask them to my bike came back in worse shape than it left it cost me 800 for a so called specialist to add more problems they charge 175 for every 2hrs they work on it they couldn't even get the seat off the bike even tho I told them 3 times I asked for a mobile mechanic they sent a tow truck which I had to pay for places a joke check the reviews before you hire that was my mistake if you send your vehicle to a garage you expect them to fix not charge you 800 an send it bacj

Why anyone would take their car here is beyond me !
I had to use this place as it’s where my warranty company sent me, but I’ve now told the warranty company all about them and said they need to find a better garage than this.
They tell you there are things wrong with your car that aren’t, never call you back it’s always you ringing them, can’t have a proper intelligent conversation with them as they’re just reading from a script.
Since my experience with them I checked their reviews, and they’re all bad !!! Not surprised to be honest

I asked for a diagnostic report and they were very quick to deduct £173 from my account. I have not received the report and when this was requested I was told it has been sent. I was offered a fix to my immobiliser for £800. I requested this in writing which had also not been sent. When I pointed out that I had read the terrible reviews I was told that this was for another company with the same name. It appears that the call center handlers are sales agents whose sole objective is to sell you products you don’t need. The report and quote has not been sent to me because I suspect that they want me to agree to my immobiliser fix and not shop around. My husband disconnected the battery and restarted the car. The price- zero. The diagnostic report has still not been received despite having paid for this. Avoid these charlatans, they don’t deserve the one star they have been given!

£495 plus vat for a 3 hour diagnostic, rip off, avoid avoid avoid., ignore the 1 star they don't deserve it.

DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE…they are con artists. My car went in for a cam belt change. Yes, big job I know. Was quoted £2000 from 3 garages these being one of them. My car was then towed there, the price just kept increasing. I needed a new gearbox, then a new clutch. £6,500 out of pocket I collect a car that can hardly drive. Shakes, stutters, took the car back thinking I would be covered under warranty. They informed me I needed another £1000 spending on new injectors. I then took the car to an independent dealer who told me there was nothing wrong with the injectors and the issues was due to an engine, i don’t have an engine number for as they can’t locate. I asked them for the new engine number, they refused to provide one or a parts number. Thank god I paid on my credit card and received a full refund under the Consumer Act. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They hooked me in with a competent diagnostic and then produced an obscene quote for repair. Not remotely defensible so I walked. I'm lucky - I know better.

These people exist to fleece the uninformed. It's criminal.

My son's car was recovered by the AA, who diagnosed a cylinder coil misfire and said it was a small job. I was then quoted a ridiculous £1,654 for a long list of things including a new catalytic converter, two oxygen sensors, a fitting kit, rocker cover gasket, timing belt, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs. None of which I asked for, and they didn't even quote for the coil that was faulty!!! I obviously declined and took my son's car to another garage, who fitted a new coil and spark plugs for £120.

Absolutely disgusting. They don't deserve a single star but that is the lowest rating possible here. Do not go near them unless you want to be ripped off.

Awful garage , rang for a price on some work and was quoted approx £1500 for supply and fitting a £100 part and one hours labour job, asked for breakdown on how they have come back with this price and still waiting on a response after a week, chased numerous times and promised will get a breakdown but never happens , read the other reviews and there shocking, amazed how these are still legally trading

AVOID ...very polite staff,had me believing it was warranty company dragging there heels, wish I had read reviews first...
So a different garage ,very reputable checked car over and said it was ECU unit and unfortunately they can't fix this problem, so RAC recommended Fastlane Autocare,so off car goes in MARCH..
Firstly I was told by them yes it's the ECU but warranty company want a separate expert report,week after week garage kept telling me warranty company hasn't got back
So I get hold of warranty company who say,garage not getting back to them 😒, more weeks pass ,no courtesy car by the way,I get solicitor involved ,all of a sudden things get moving.
Receive call off Fastlane, it's going to cost over 2000.00 .REMEMBER THIS NOW...
I call warranty company, no idea what I'm talking about ,they haven't had report,,,,alarm bells,,,,
So phone garage and they say there still waiting on THEIR SPECIALIST S FINAL REPORT...so I tell them that I was told they had to send it off,,,man mumbled that they had their own specialist but he can only look at it maybe an hour ,2or 3 days a week ,,,MORE ALARM BELLS.....
So they phone me today saying RAC now want a full engine strip down and it's an engine fault that isn't covered in warranty....
So straight away I thought,They offered to fix problem for £2200.00,which they now say wasn't the fault, bearing in mind it had already been diagnosed in 1st garage..
It's with solicitors, TRADING STANDARDS and RAC have said they will be looking into it as this seems to happen alot in this garage ,ie .people being told that garage has found another fault etc etc and will be reviewing there RAC APPROVAL STANDARD..
