Disappointing experience

I do like their jewellery designs. I have bought quite a few over the years, and one of them is still good. Others fell apart. The problem with this business is that they only publish good reviews, which I have left in the past, but not the bad reviews, which I have also written. Hence, I am writing about my disappointing experience here. It's hard enough ordering from Australia, as the shipping costs about $50 and takes a month. Whenever you make an enquiry, they send you a generic email, which often doesn't address your question. I just got a piece of jewellery back from them that I returned for repair and alteration 6 months ago (paying extra for this too), only to find that it's not what I ordered.

This company is a scammer!!!!!! You can do a fitting for your piece and they still don’t get it correct!!! What’s the purpose in the fitting? Use any other company but I would stay away from this company, called Freshtrends Body Jewelry!!!!!!

Nose piece was pretty, but wasn’t according to size.

In my opinion, the nose ring I purchased wasn’t a standard size. I had to pay $45 more just to get it resized and that really upset me. I wrote the same review on their website but they didn’t even post it. Maybe what I’m saying is not important but that’s ridiculous for what I paid to get a piece of jewelry resized. The nose piece was pretty but I won’t be purchasing anything more from them..

The $45 covers the labor, materials, and handling required to remake the piece to your new specifications.

AMAZING QUALITY + CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have purchased several pieces of jewelry from Fresh trends over the years… I mainly buy nose rings or nose studs from them, but they are the absolute best quality and Customer service around! I have a metal Allergy and can only purchase high-quality gold or silver, this is my go to place.

The Customer service is above and beyond the best of any company I have deal dealt with. They are so kind, a responsive, they have helped me with issues on my end and an issue on theirs as well with resolution and grace.

I highly recommend this place and I continue to support them and Will for years to come. Highly suggest you give them a try! I love supporting good people and wonderful businesses and this is absolutely a combination of both.

The jewelry is gorgeous but just takes a long time to ship. I ordered an opal septum ring and an opal curved barbell and am still waiting on the barbell. Just got the septum ring after about a month of waiting. Im excited to get my jewelry so I can match!

I should have dug deeper into the…

I should have dug deeper into the company before I ordered anything. After being bombarded by Meta ads I bought an earring. I reached out to their customer service 12 hours after placing the order to ask if I could cancel. As others have mentioned on here I got the “we have already bought supplies and started production.” I call BS and what happened over the next 6 weeks confirmed that it was indeed BS. 4 weeks after they refused to cancel the order, I still had not received anything. I sent an email to follow up. No response. I followed up a in a few more days. No answer. I waited a week and tried again. No response. I figured I had been ripped off. I am sad it had not occurred to me to reverse my credit card charges. Anyway, out of the blue I got a shipping notification. Cool. I received my piece today. I ordered the ladybug piece. I knew it was “dainty”, but my goodness. This thing is TINY. I did look at it under a jeweler’s loop and it is stamped “14k”, so that’s why they are getting 2 stars instead of 1. The inflexibility, the wait and the teeny tiny size of the product make this place a NO from me.

I have mixed feelings about this…

I have mixed feelings about this company. The cost and the quality of the jewelry seems legit, but the shipping time and responsiveness of customer service is unbelievably terrible. I ordered a few items in early December. It took about 6 weeks to receive everything - they were sent in two separate shipments. I knew it would take time but it took much longer than the estimations. Their reasoning for the delay was that one item did not pass their quality check. They had another sale so I purchased a few more things, but after reading their TrustPilot reviews, I decided to cancel the orders. They took days to receive a response and they said it was too late to cancel. I contacted my bank and had the charges reversed.

A few weeks later, one of the items broke so I sent it for a repair. Meanwhile, the items I cancelled were still shipped. This was 2-3 weeks after I requested to cancel and had my bank reverse the charges. What’s crazy is that it took this company weeks to realize I reversed the payments but they sent the items anyway. They reached out and asked me to cancel the reversed charges. They claimed that this hurts them since they are a small business. This would not have happened if they were responsive like all other online retailers are these days. Something doesn’t add up here.

The item I sent for repair did actually get repaired, but it took another month. This is now three months after ordering this initial piece before I had it back from the repair.

I decided to keep the second round of items I ordered since it was a great deal when I purchased. Like I said, the quality is not terrible (minus the one piece that needed a repair), but there is something off about this company. It shouldn’t be this challenging to cancel an order or to communicate with people. Emails and phone calls were not effective, texting them was the only way I got through to someone. They would benefit from more transparency (they have jewelers in California but they ship from Florida- why? That makes no sense). They would also benefit from better shipping times and customer service support.

Do not buy!!

My brother ordered the wrong size barbell for me and freshtrends have been a nightmare to deal with. Won't allow him to exchange for the correct size and pay the difference, they want him to pay more than the difference between the two sizes! Since this has happened I've seen a lot of people saying they are not actually solid gold either!! Don't buy from them!!

One month ago purchased, still didn't sent to me

After purchasing item im waiting for one month and it still not in my possession, they created FedEx tracking number but FedEx still didn't have it to ship to me , looks very bad, never gonna buy again from them

I purchased the Fresh Trends “Opal…

I purchased the Fresh Trends “Opal teardrop 14 karat gold naval ring” item number FTN-2PSO-14-YLW-1-4. The price is $325 & 1 year later with barely any use, 1 of the 4 prongs that hold the Opal in place literally broke off! Thank God, when it hit the floor I heard it & was able to find & save the opal! I took it to a Fred Meyer jeweler, where they tried to put a new prong on to secure the Opal in place, but they questioned the quality of the Supposed 14 karat gold! Then the real 14 karat gold prong, that the Fred Meyer jeweler put on, fell off after separating from their cheap supposedly 14 karat gold setting a year later! Worse yet, the setting that holds the second opal that’s used on the top of the naval ring for securing the main portion of the ring into place- (it screws on to the main portion) is now discolored & looks like it’s tarnishing!!! This is clearly not 14 karat gold, which I’ve never seen turn a rust color & start to look tarnished!! This company is a big rip off!! Their fancy advertising is deceiving! They are clearly making a fortune off of appearing to be a high end jeweler while selling cheap, third world junk jewelry that’s garbage!
The biggest clue is when you go to their reviews, you can’t leave a review! They have either created the reviews themselves or saved only the “4 1/2 to 5 Star reviews” & now claim that well over 1000 reviews have all been 4 1/2 to 5 star reviews!! Yeah right!!
This company is a big con & their prices for the same items have tripled over the last 12 years! Go to a reputable jeweler if you’re going to spend this much money on a piece of jewelry! These people are peddling cheap, trash- probably from China, as though it’s high-quality jewelry!! I don’t know why someone hasn’t started filing a class action lawsuit against them for their deceptive advertising!! Since having this horrid experience myself! I have seen similar complaints by people who have actually had their gold tested and proven that it wasn’t 14 karat gold!

Bad company. Shipping times mean nothing to them

I ordered my earring on September 15th, the website said it would ship in 1 to 7 business days. It is now 11 business days since the order was placed. I email them and they reply it takes 3 to 5 business days for jewelry to be ready to ship (its already been 11 business days!) and that my jewelry is set to be ready on October 7th, 5 business days from now. This is a total of 16 business days (22 actual days) from when I placed my order! Again, this is unprofessional and completely unacceptable. And looking at the other reviews, my experience isn'r unusual. Don't buy from this company.

I ordered a item for my wifes birthday…

I ordered a item for my wifes birthday was given a ship date of Aug 29 to Sept 09 (1-2 weeks). When it had not been shipped after nearly three weeks. I contacted the Fresh Trends and was told it would ship and given a FedEx number. After tracking the FedEx number for 5 days and seeing it was still at the facility I again emailed them, I was then told that the FedEx number was assigned in error. What????. I was told that their jeweler would have it made by the end of the week and I would get a tracking number. I am still waiting. This company seems to over promise, make excuses, and not deliver.

I purchased a clit ring for my…

I purchased a clit ring for my girlfriend in May. They called me to verify the size. I was told since they verified size it would go into production. Fast forward a month. Still no word or shipping confirmation. I send an email and they tell me my order was canceled. I was still charged $130 and they never canceled the charge. They then replied to my email saying that the size change was an additional $75. Mind you had I never reached out to follow up they would have just kept my money. When I spoke to someone there was no mention of an up charge and they told me it would go into production and be shipped out. Gold is $2,365 an oz. That ring probably weighs .3 of a gram at most. This is shady business if I’ve ever seen it. Don’t buy stuff from this place !

FAULTY JEWELRY AND DISHONEST BUSINESS

I'm currently experiencing issues with TWO orders with Fresh Trends! The first order was for a crystal straight barbell, and the crystal end that was supposed to be soldered just BROKE right off. HORRIBLE QUALITY! So I placed an order for a new one, which was supposed to be expedited in 2-3 days, and after ten days, this one has not shipped! They are dishonest, stating they have refunded me for the faulty piece, and I have no refund!

Fails to Deliver - Literally

Going through old records I discover a receipt from Fresh Trends from 2017 for 4 pieces of jewelry. I review the receipt in confusion. I don't own any of this jewelry. Never before have I seen, in person, this jewelry. I do everything I can to log into my account to check the order status, but no account can be found (very odd). I then search through all my jewelry and I cannot find the pieces I ordered. Did I ever receive them in the first place? Well, Fresh Trends doesn't issue direct refunds, so I would either have to have the jewelry currently or have an account where I hold store credit (yet no account can be found with my email). I recall ordering similar jewelry from other sources around this time and I have all those. Where is my Fresh Trends jewelry?

Month later and still waiting

I've ordered from FreshTrends before and never really had an issue. They're slow at production and have pushed my order's shipment back one other time. However, I spent a decent amount for several items and they have sent me the same email twice stating that my items aren't up to standards and will take another 10-12 days. I'm starting to feel like I'm getting scammed.
UPDATE-
After writing this review they finally shipped my items. The jewelry is beautiful and great quality. Shipping is normally not this bad, but after this experience I won't be ordering from them again.

Great range of styles and easy to order. Shipped to UK within 3 weeks of initial order and exactly as described. I would definitely buy from them again.
There was a problem with the final delivery and they were helpful in sorting things with the courier who had delivered to the wrong address. Parcel was correctly addressed.
