Placed an order on 5/17 for two games based on a sale that they had. I received one of the games but the second game never arrived. When I contacted customer service, they said they do not have the game and offered me a full order total refund if I wanted to cancel.

When I agreed to the cancellation, instead of the full refund I was promised, they charged me the full price for the first game, as well as the full shipping price, and only refunded a partial amount of the order.

The company appears to have sales with great prices, with zero intention of actually fulfilling the orders. Company seems to just scam people.

I wished I had looked at the reviews before ordering anything from gamestop. Still waiting on order and when I call No one knows anything of why its not shipped yet. Never again will I use gamestop.

Literally less than one star. Ordered a ps5, came dirty, with scratches, in a torn half open box. Delivered with uber. When i tried to return in store, three stores refused and customer services sent me to hell and back just so i can get a return label to ship it through fedex. Lol, absolute scum.

Absolutely terrible experience with GameStop.

Google lists the Florence, KY Mall Road location as opening at 10:00 AM. I drove nearly an hour to get there only to find a handwritten paper sign on the door saying they wouldn't be opening until 12:00 PM. Since I had already made the trip, I waited around and wasted time, but nobody ever showed up.

Trying to salvage the situation, I drove to the next nearest GameStop location, only to be told they could not fulfill my order. So I drove back to the original store, and even then it still wasn't open. By this point it was 2:00 PM.

To make matters worse, customer service informed me they could not cancel my order. So not only did I waste nearly my entire Saturday driving between stores, I was left stuck with an order that nobody seemed capable of fulfilling or canceling.

With gas pushing $5 a gallon, this was an expensive and frustrating waste of time. The complete lack of communication, inaccurate store hours, and inability to provide basic customer service is unacceptable.

Companies like this wonder why they're losing customers. After this experience, I won't be using GameStop for any future purchases. Amazon has earned my business going forward.

I paid 15 for same day shipping. They did not send it. Apparently uber has to pick it up. I have work and live in an apartment building. Per their policy im not allowed to pick it up myself. I have called customer service for game stop and uber. They have not been helpful. They keep telling me to cancel my order if i think it wont be here before 4. I asked to change the address they said no. I offered to send an uber courrier they said no. Dont pay for same day shipping. Its a waste of your money.

Terrible customer service no one knows what is going on. Had to cancel a order because of a bunch of I don’t knows about how to fix the problem with a delivery I had scheduled

Awful prices. They are worse than scalpers. Their shelves are always full because they have the most absurd upcharges on TCG products. They suck. Used to be a good store when they were doing Friday drops and posting what was coming, it’s all a cash grab now and they are atrocious. Honestly I don’t even know how or why they get supply anymore. Big box retailers get less product then game stop their stock should go to people selling at the company’s MSRP.

I lost about $70 for returning an item to their offline store.

They listed that offline store option is available so I did that. They didn't give any paper, receipt. Store just took and stole my item. Account show no return transaction. Have been in a limbo of 'you go talk to store, you go talk to company online - we don't see any transaction.'

Why have the store return option when there's no system to back up? How can store steal customers' merch? I would never buy anything again at GameStop.

If you know, you know, but this company is lost and needs to be removed from shopping areas. I done got scammed, and left hanging by workers and customer service.

Longtime customer since I was a kid man. Now I can't stand gamestop.

This is not a one-time issue. I've had two significant failures with GameStop this year alone.

First: I had a preorder for Pokémon Pokopia for Nintendo Switch 2 that went missing for over a month. From early January almost up to the week of release, they couldn't find it in their systems. My order had been moved to a store in another state, hours away, without any notice. I called and emailed repeatedly trying to get an update. Not one person ever followed up with me.

Second: I placed an online pickup order for Mario RPG for Nintendo Switch at a promotional price of $15 (retail $50–$60). My order was cancelled without any proactive communication from the store. I then received a pickup notification a full day AFTER the cancellation had already happened, meaning their own system failed to alert me in time. I contacted support and was bounced between representatives. Each one recited policy without addressing my actual complaint.

The final response contradicted the previous two, wit reps one and two cited a 3-day holding period, while rep three said 4 days. All reps sidestepped my question asking why the store didn't just call me to remind me on pickup.

I've been a long-time GameStop customer. The pattern here is consistent: poor communication, no follow-through, and form responses that deflect rather than resolve. I've filed a BBB complaint and have documented both threads in full.

Very disappointed with GameStop. I preordered the new 007 game expecting to receive it on release day, but the order hasn’t even shipped yet. What’s the point of preordering if they can’t deliver on time?

To make things worse, customer service won’t let me cancel the order even though it hasn’t shipped. Customers shouldn’t be forced to wait indefinitely with no option to cancel.

Experiences like this are exactly why people are moving to streaming and digital downloads instead of buying from GameStop. I will definitely not buy from them again.

just pre-ordered my Lego Batman Legacy Of The Dark Knight Deluxe version a year ago they told me it would be in TODAY May 19th I went today to pick it up and now they come up with the excuse they got a late shipment in and won't be available till tomorrow this is like the 2nd time they did this crap as they have done this before with my copy of Doom The Dark Ages and I had to wait a actual week after the game was released

Id give less stars if i could, 1.) ordered same day delivery and didn’t get it the same day, or the next. Called the customer service they don't know whats going on, called the store they couldn’t even find the order # the first day and that was places at 12:00pm. (Well within time frame) no one knows anything. Call the 2nd day, the store says doordash hasn't picked it up yet, the app shows shipped and it most definitely has not been shipped. Call door-dash, cant find the order, no surprise there. You cant change to pick up so you have to physically wait for it for who knows how long. I wouldn't order anything from them, i will take my business to any other store, target etc before purchasing anything from gamestop. Terrible and ridiculous way of doing business with absolutely no alternatives to resolve issues.

Games Stop is the worse will never order anything again bought a console in January took a month to get in contact with customer service to send it back since it wasnt working bought a warranty for this purpose sent it back took another month was supposed to fix sent back a dirty smudged console that was not mine without the original box I sent it in. Very sorry I purchased from them.

if I could leave a zero I would. on 03/04/26 I had purchased a 100 dollar starwars item for my collection, and when it said my item had been delivered, all I had received was just the shipping label. so I called customer service, they had told me that id receive a replacement. weeks later I didnt hear anything about a tracking number. so I called again, they told me they'd "escalate it." a few more weeks, I called again "they'd escalate it." A FEW MORE WEEKS. I demanded a refund and guess what? NOTHING. I called again today and they offered me a gift card as if im buying online again. and when I demanded my money back, they told me its going to take 30 days for a check. im never buying online from gamestop again. theyre just gonna beat around the bush, and get nothing done

I ordered a new ps5 pro last Wednesday direct from gamestop online. On the website it saod receive it in 1-3 days. 3 days days went by and only a shipping lable was created fedex Never received the item I spoke to them. Gamestop said I need to wait 5 business days then they can issue a refund. I called back today and now they said ok it's been 5 days, but we have no idea at all when you will get a refund I spent $900.00. No refund, no ps5 pro, no answers.

Watch out. This place is bad. Sent me a $150 box of cards that looked like it had been smashed by a forklift. Nothing was wrong with the outer box so it was clear it was packed like that. Said all sales were final. If I were to do what they are doing, the police would show up and say I was scamming people because I am not named Gamestop.

Bought $60 worth of broken games online!! tried to return them, but since it wasn’t in their “15 day return” they wouldn’t refund, they offered $5 for games that never worked. Very poor customer service very rude and unhelpful. I recommend any other gaming store! Will not be going back!

Ordered a game on a april 17th around 1-2pm order said 2-3 days shipping, called customer service on day 4 because it still said processing, service rep lied to me and said "since you ordered after 7pm Friday that day didn't count towards the 2-3 day shipping" not a big deal it then took another day for the label to be printed at the usps location, then another full day before usps even received the item, it is the 24th and now I have a 2-3 day shipping time...GameStop says the package has been delivered to me but usps still says the package is only about halfway to me...likely will never order online again.....then with the in store location near me I called to have 3 items I rarely use quoted in hopes of swapping to a new platform (switch) and a few games with it, staff said they wouldn't be able to quote me but I'd need to use their online website. Fortunately I'm willing to hold onto my ps5, psvr2 and portal all flawless in box rather than accept the 250 offer they finally gave me for the whole bundle

Gamestop is an absolute joke I paid 150$ for a powerpack. What is got was a PSA 8 1st edition slugma valued at 18$ anyone who sees this DO NOT BUY FROM GAMESTOP they are crooks and will not give you anything close to the value you spend. But I will get even you screwed the wrong
person over.
