German Online Institute Reviews

I had several German lessons with Yeda and can highly recommend her as a teacher. Our lessons were always engaging, interesting, and very enjoyable. She is a very kind and patient person who creates a comfortable and motivating learning environment.

I especially appreciated that she always prepared materials based on my interests and learning needs. Since my main goal was to improve my speaking, we focused a lot on conversation, and I noticed a clear improvement in my speaking skills in a relatively short time.

Thank you for the great lessons!

The GoI is a great combination of a platform to learn German with the presence of a tutor. Maria T. has been remarkable with her teaching expertise and how she manages to install the learning targets to me. She is patient and can go further on questions being asked, as she has a deep and broad knowledge of German language. She can provide plenty of paradigms, that are helping the learning process. Maria T. has a kind and welcoming personality that makes it even easier to feel at ease - with no stress in communicating for me in German, and thus focus on my learning target. it is with anticipation that i am joining my German course in GoI.

Sehr empfehlenswert! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I would like to thank Orsi N. for being a very professional and supportive German teacher. During her classes, I feel confident speaking German because she creates a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere. She is also very patient and always takes the time to explain things clearly. I also love the structure of the classes, as they are adapted to my needs and help me improve step by step. I really appreciate her dedication and the positive learning environment she provides.

I am having german lessons with Maja S. for 6 months already - each lesson integrates speaking, reading, grammar exercises and listening practice, which makes the learning process both engaging and effective.
The speaking practice also helps build confidence and enhance my vocabulary.

We need German for living in Switzerland. Our teacher is Martina M. and we can say that our knowledge is incredibly increased after only few months. We always have a lot of questions and she encourages us with deep explanantion. She is able to make the learning process more natural, friendly and very useful for our purpose. Indeed, we speak a lot compared to the beginning. Furthermore, the class is for two people with a different way to study, but we get a big benefit from each time we meet, since it's perfectly personalized on our learning inclination. Moreover, she is super nice and it's always a pleasure to start our training, even after a work day. Thank you Marti!
About the school, any time I had an issue, they were promptly supporting and solving the problem. Good service!

I’ve been taking one‑to‑one German classes with Lela for a year, and she has adapted the lessons perfectly to my needs, my busy work schedule, and my initial fear of speaking. Her interactive and supportive approach has helped me gradually gain confidence, and I can already see real progress, even though I still have a long way to go. I truly appreciate how she personalizes each class and supports my learning journey.

I have been taking German courses with Katharina since 3 months now and always look forward to the online classes. We have a lot in common and she is very easy to talk to. She always teaches with a smile, knows when to correct me and balances the perfect ratio of grammar, conversation and fun :)
The platform is quite easy to book through and I like that they created a Google Scholar map for me so I have all the lessons and homework in one place.
Would 100% recommend Katharina!!!

I have been taking lessons from GOI for a while and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn German.

I have the most amazing teacher, Sanja, without whom I would have stopped learning German already some time ago! with! She is so motivated, always there, ready to help, very flexible, super kind and nice. Sanja is the reason that I didn’t give up and still making progress! Many thanks GOI and Sanja, for all your efforts. Thanks to you, I am now using German in my daily life 😊 Ilke

I have been working with Irma for quite some time now and she is the best. She is personable and kind but also teaches me in a way that helps my German to improve. Irma is also patient even when I repeatedly make the same mistakes. When I was preparing for my B2 test, she tailored our lessons to focus on the different aspects of the test and gave me many good tips. I enjoy my lessons with her and I feel more comfortable speaking German because of them.

Really good website for learning german thanks to my teachers Dino and Sofia

I am currently taking German lessons with Dino, and the experience has been excellent so far. Dino is a very patient and supportive teacher who creates a relaxed and welcoming learning environment. The lessons are clearly structured and engaging. He always encourages me to speak and helps whenever I get stuck. This has made my learning process consistent and fun. I am always very excited for our lesson. I highly recommend Dino and the German Online Institute to anyone looking to learn or improve their German!

I had an amazing experience with German online institute. Dino and Sofia were absolutely fantastic teachers and supported me every step of the way. Thanks to them, I improved my German from A2 to B1 in a way that felt fun, engaging, and never stressful.

The lessons were very interactive, well-structured, and motivating, which made learning German feel enjoyable instead of overwhelming. Dino and Sofia were always patient, encouraging, and great at explaining difficult concepts clearly.

I’ve gained so much confidence in speaking and understanding German, and I honestly looked forward to every class. I highly recommend this institute to anyone who wants to learn German effectively while actually having fun doing it!

I am having the privilege to have Lela D as my german Teacher, recently. She is dedicated and very focus in my goals with german language. I hope continuous my journey with her for next steps of my learning. Thanks Lela and GOI .

I’ve been taking private German lessons with Luka D. for several months now. My first goal was to get from a B1 to a B2 level and prepare the TELC exam.

Luka D. has been fantastic in providing me the necessary tools to get better and structuring the lessons in a way that would benefit my linguistic development; everything he did impacted the speed at which I was learning considerably.

As for the TELC exam preparation, Luka was able to have me focus on what was most important and the areas of development I needed his help for the most. He did so by complementing mock exams and targeted exercises. Thanks to his help, I passed the B2 exam in December 2025.

I cannot recommend GOI and Luka D. enough. I’m already taking lessons with him again and will certainly keep booking them until I’m satisfied with my level of German.

Nele is an excellent German teacher—well-prepared, patient, and highly supportive. She tailors lessons to my level and interests, providing engaging materials and plenty of speaking practice. She gave me a safe space to fall and the support to pick myself back up. Thanks to her guidance, I progressed faster than I expected and passed the KDE in Zurich earlier than I thought I could. I definitely recommend Nele and the German Online Institute to anyone learning German.
