German Online Institute Reviews

I've had the pleasure of learning German with Luka D. and I can't recommend him enough. His teaching style is engaging, patient and tailored to my learning needs. He explains concepts in a way that's easy to understand and his enthusiasm for the language makes every lesson enjoyable. Luka creates a supportive and effective learning environment. I always look forward to the next class. Highly recommended!

I've been a student of GOI on and off since 2017 and am a big fan. I find their service super convenient and love the flexibility for sessions to fit with my schedule. I have worked with Tanja S. for the majority of my time with GOI. She helped me obtain my B2 Goethe certificate back then and more recently helped me obtain my C1 Goethe certificate. She is so passionate about German and teaching and is super motivating. I can't recommend her enough.

Flexibility, punctuality, clear rules, diversity of teachers, late classes possibility.

I am currently taking A2 individual online lessons with German Online Institute, and so far, it has been a great experience! My teacher, Marko S., is excellent—he has great teaching skills and, as a bonus, speaks my mother tongue, which makes explanations much easier. He follows the course materials but is also very flexible, adapting the lessons to my needs and even sharing extra materials.

I’m really enjoying the course and looking forward to progressing further. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for structured yet personalized learning!

I enjoy my 1-1 courses with Jana quite a lot. Having open conversations and answers to my specific questions makes learning easier. It's a very good value to money ratio, I would recommend it.

Very convenient way to learn German. Flexible and tailor made. My teacher Alexandra is excellent. Very versatile, methodical and extremely attentive.

I used German Online Institute for translations required for nationalization in Germany, I had a quote in hand same day and fully executed within 2 days. Great, professional service. A breath of fresh air.

I’ve been taking lessons since November 2024, and I’m so happy I’ve finally found a way to learn that works for me! The system is great - being able to book lessons as and when I want, not spend too much money up front, and complete flexibility with the content of each class, is perfect. To top it off Betina J. is a fantastic teacher and wonderful person, I feel safe and supported (confidence has always held me back), and with her help I now believe I will finally be successful with my learning. I would highly recommend Betina and GOI! Thank you!

First of all, I would like to recommend GOI and, of course, to my dear teacher, Pia S.!

GOI is a fantastic platform for German learners. It provides a well-structured approach to developing your German step-by-step with the support of a great team. What I love most about GOI is its personalized programs tailored to each student’s needs.

My teacher, Pia, brings a fresh and exciting tool to every session, making learning German truly fascinating. We play games, listen to stories, do role plays, create mind maps, and more.
There is always something to stimulate your mind!

Another great feature is that you can access all your lesson notes and materials on the platform, making it easy to track your progress.

With Pia, every conversation about a story or a word leads to surprising and insightful facts about the German language. It's not just about learning grammar and vocabulary; it's about diving deep into the culture, which helps you understand the people and the language on a deeper level.

If you're looking for an effective and enjoyable way to improve your German, don't hesitate to join!
You'll progress in a structured yet fun way.

My teacher Verena H. is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and well-organized! Her lessons are always well-structured and thoughtfully planned, making learning both effective and enjoyable. She has a great ability to explain complex topics in a way that’s easy to understand, and she’s always attentive to my individual questions and needs :)) I highly recommend all those eager to learn German to book classes with her!

I would highly recommend Jelena T. as a teacher! We connected instantly and she was really supportive. I have been learning German with Jelena T. for almost a year and manage to successfully meet my learning goals. Jelena adapted our lessons based on my needs and kept them very interactive. I would highly recommend Jelena T. as a teacher if you are an expat and willing to learn German in an easy and interesting way!

I wanted to learn German for my work in Switzerland. German Online Institute was a great option with a lot of flexibility and clear learning objectives. Like the course material and am very happy with my teacher Dino M., who does a very good job of explaining the complexities of the German language. Dino M. speaks great English, which for me, as a second-language learner from the US, is very helpful. I look forward to reaching a conversational level so I can drop the English and enjoy good convos with Dino in German!

I had a great experience! My teacher Sanja from GOI got me from A1 to A2/B1 super quickly and I just passed my test in Switzerland. So glad I used this course, it’s so helpful to have 1:1 sessions and Sanja really improved my level quickly. Would really recommend her and GOI

I’ve been taking German classes online with Milena D. through GOI, and she’s been a great teacher. Her lessons are clear and helpful, and she really made learning German less stressful for me. Thanks to her support, I was able to pass my A2 exam. She’s patient and explains things in a way that makes them easy to understand. I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made!

My experience with my Tutor Ana C was really good. I opted for A2 B1 exam and it was very hard to find appropriate model tests, but she was able to provide me with resources that helped me prepare well for the exam. I would say she was instrumental in helping me get through the exam. I would gladly suggest her classes to anyone who is interested in joining.
