Dishonest from the very beginning
Dishonest from the very beginning. Said there was no contract and then somehow I’m locked into a 5 year contract! Said we would receive cameras and garage remote opening and closing. We received one still camera and they re-used old sensors that were already in the house we had just bought. Customer service is HORRIBLE and rude and causes you to have to defend yourself. Their installer was NOT licensed by the state when he installed our system and we never received an operator manual for our system. It’s had to be replaced since and we got a “new” one with reduced options. At least the old one looked better. Now our doorbell doesn’t work. Total ripoff and rude customer service. The last technician that came was, however, nice.

I am extremely satisfied with the service GHS provides!
I am very satisfied with the service GHS provides. I really appreciate having their app on my phone. Wherever I am, out shopping, paying bills, visiting friends, I know at a glance what is taking place at my residence. When my back-up person that has a key & the code to access my house needs to go in because I’ve needed something repaired & I’m not home, the GHS app on my phone notifies me of that person when entering & leaving. Very good feature to reassure me that no stranger is trying to get in. The ease of shutting off an alarm when I’ve accidently set it off is also a benefit I appreciate, so I can get it turned off quickly. Another feature of GHS phone app is that it notifies me if I haven’t set it to the “stay home” mode by 9:00 pm. I forget to do that but GHS slways remembers.
I don’t feel I’m getting the protection…
I don’t feel I’m getting the protection for my home when I’m not there. Poor notification and follow up when the alarm is triggered.

Not trouble free or particularly user friendly, but it gets the job done,
We have had GHS since February 2018
We have had GHS since February 2018. The service is good, customer service when you can reach them is great. They have certain operational hours, so you don't have someone live to speak with 24/7 if there is a technical issue with equipment. However as far as being able to secure home and feel safe, they are great and response time is awesome.
Slow response time for service tech
System monitoring and reporting is excellent. We have had problems communicating with the office and getting service at our home. we had all new replacement windows installed, so are in need of new sensors on all windows. It has been two weeks since my first phone inquiry phone call, and we still do not have a satisfactory solution. Office communication seems to need improvement.
The system does not work if the power…
The system does not work if the power goes out. 24 hr (maybe) is not long enough time. For that alone I'll be switching ASAP. I also only wanted to test it out but got ropped into a 5 year contract. Not happy! Not to mention the batteries always go out. Then the GHS guy that showed up to my house unannounced at night and freaked my roommate out. YUP I'M DONE!

Once I got used to system, it has been great knowing my home is protected when I’m away, and I can rest well at night, knowing I am safe!
I like my GHS Service
I like my GHS Service! I had a well known alarm company prior to GHS but GHS goes the extra mile to check in to make sure everything is ok even when I trip the alarm by accident.

Majority of the time our doorbell…
Majority of the time our doorbell camera does not record. The other half of the time it says our storage is full, therefore it stops recording, and you have to manually go in and delete recorded footage.

They are always responsive if my alarm…
They are always responsive if my alarm goes off. But I am curious why they never check with me when it shows my hall monitor is not working!
