Biggest mistake i made to other from this company. I chose every item myself .I order one salami they send five slices,I order 3lb of fruits they sent 2 small apple,2 small oranges ,1 green mango ,I order hard cheese they sent cheeder, small box of crackers, I order Italian white wine ,they sent champagne. I paid $258.00 us dollar. I am so disappointed am about to cry.

My son had just moved to Europe with his wife and I had been warned not to try sending gifts from overseas because they don't always make it, or they take forever to get there. I googled and came across this company. I chose the make your own basket and it arrived to the newlyweds almost immediately. They loved every item. And the items are quality choices. For my first order, the company added a box of chocolates. So nice! All communication was prompt and helpful. I will definitely be using this company again.

Overpriced and Underwhelming: Disappointing Experience with Gift Baskets Overseas
I am extremely disappointed with an order I placed on behalf of the company I work for with Gift Baskets Overseas. We paid $200 for a gift basket, expecting a luxurious assortment of items. Instead, the recipient received a tin can of something, a chocolate bar, a snack-size bag of Lindt chocolate balls, a snack-size bag of fruit and nut mix, a sleeve of chocolate cookies, a small Toblerone bar, a snack-size bag of chocolate-covered cashews, and a snack-size bag of chips. This is absolutely not worth the price we paid! This has only been brought to my attention recently, hence the delay in writing this review.
To make matters worse, this isn’t the first time this company has overcharged for an underwhelming gift basket. Earlier this year, I placed another order, not realizing the quality of my previous order. After becoming aware of the issues with the last order, I reached out to the recipient of the most recent order made in May 2024, who confirmed that the items in the gift basket do not reflect the $130 price paid.
I strongly warn other customers to think twice before ordering from Gift Baskets Overseas. You might not get your money’s worth!

I sent a gift basket to my friend in Germany. The customer service throughout the whole process was outstanding! I was able to communicate with the representatives over the phone and emails. They helped me to pick up my order and gave me suggestions. I had some issue with order delivery due to hot weather. I spoke to Alex about it, and he was able to resolve my issue pretty quickly. He notified me about the issue and provided resolution. I was very happy with the service and the company. I will recommend to others and will use this company again in the future.

Terrible service
Terrible service. My parents sent me flowers that were meant to be delivered on my birthday a few days ago. 3 days later, no news, and the driver had just disappeared with the flowers. Clearly it is too late for the delivery now as it was time-sensitive. Thank you for causing so much sadness to my parents, who live overseas and were hoping to surprise me.

I had very bad experience with this company. Unfortunately my basket was never delivered. Very disappointed and extremely not recommended this business. Very bad and not professional customer service and communication. Please be aware from this business.

On this day, my parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary and were forced to be at home all day to receive this gift from me. No one from your company even tried to contact them or me, although you had all our phone numbers. Nobody called to apologize. Your company ruined our anniversary for all of us. And please tell everyone how after my order was placed you wanted to exchange a package of expensive cheese ( it was out of stock) for a pack of cheap crackers, assuring that it was the same, and then when my order was not delivered you wanted to buy my silence first for $40 and then when I refused it you increased it to $65. And how can people do business with you after this?

After understanding the delivery did not happen as expected, we proceeded right away to escalate it to the couriers in charge and engaged in communication with you throughout the day. As we rely on local services, and as a standard practice, we needed a bit of time to get the information to understand the reason for this: we managed to know that the delivery failed as the courier could not locate the delivery address. Furthermore, they reported an attempt to reach your recipient over the phone with no positive results. This unfortunate situation led to an unsuccessful delivery.
That said, and in the meantime the investigation process started, we acknowledged your willingness not to wait for further news and investigation results and we proceeded as per your request: by canceling the order, issuing a full refund, and absorbing the expenses for some items that can not be consumed which had been specially prepared for this delivery.
We understand that it is disappointing when things do to go as planned and we share the same feelings. We, at GiftBasketOverseas, underline our commitment to continue improving our processes to provide the best service possible.
It saddens us to know your experience turned this way but we reassured you none of the actions that occurred had been in our direct control; furthermore, we took the responsibility needed and acted following your petition to cancel the order and receive a reimbursement right away.
