About Jobs Reviews

The material was well researched and v. helpful. Resume assistance was great. The recruiter blast needs to be more attuned to the needs of the candidate.

I was very pleased with the new resume, cover letter and thank you letter. The process was easy and involved filling out a simple form and doing an approximately one hour interview. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The process took about 30 days from initial contact to completed packet. The owner explained that an outside factor out of the company's control occurred and stretched out the delivery time, which is understandable. My thought is that this company has grown and needs some deeper writer bench strength to get the turn-around time closer to 1-2 weeks while providing capacity to handle unexpected issues. Once I posted the new resume I started getting calls within hours, so I am very happy with the results.

I have been on the job hunt for months. In just a couple of weeks with my new resume I am getting interviews from the size companies I had in my target list. Furthermore, the help with the LinkedIn profile has produced inquiries from staffing companies. This was not happening prior to working with Don and his company. They have helped me create my personal marketing piece and brand. If you are a job seeker stop wasting valuable time and money. Make the investment in yourself and future by working with the professionals. I am thrilled I did.

The team of writers at gotthejob are very professional and know their industry. Not only did I get an excellent resume, but any questions I had about the best way to approach getting an interview was answered. I received two phone interviews within first week of sending out my resume for a director position. I also went from one view on LinkedIn a day to over 10!!!!
Definitely one of the smartest business investments I made in myself!!!
Thankyou again to don and Paula for your professionalism, and expertise. Everything that was promised was delivered within a few days!!!

With the massive lay offs happening, there are a lot of good people who are looking for jobs and it would be really hard just to get you noticed or shortlisted. A former colleague of mine told me to try the services of Don Goodman. At first, I was hesitant considering the amount of money you will be spending but I went through with it anyway. I must say that it was one of the best decisions I made! When I got my final package and started with my job search, I was surprised to get a lot of emails and phone calls from recruiters. My resume was getting noticed by multinational companies. It took me only a month or two in the market when I got numerous job offers. It is true that a good written resume will help you land the job that you want. Don have provided not just a resume but he gave me back my self esteem and helped me land a career I have been dreaming of. By the way, my husband have also availed his services and we are referring him to all of our close friends. Thanks Don and Pam. You guys are the best!

I have leveraged Don and his team twice in five years. His consultative style combined with excellent fact-finding result in a beautiful representation of your career. It's kind of like getting a new haircut when, at the end of the session, they turn the chair around and you simply can't believe how good you look. :-) Don's team is terrific at highlighting your accomplishments in a way that you probably can't. Even though I'm not currently looking, I just had Don refresh my resume to reflect the latest styles and OCR readability in addition to my new work experience. I'm extremely pleased once again. If you are serious about having potential employers see you in the best possible light, you will have Don's team go to work for you.

A great help in a busy life. I applied for a job and got it.

I am very pleased with both quality and the service I received from Don's resume writing service. I am definitely recommending to others.
Quick responses, answered all my questions, and delivered everything they promised.

When I decided to make a career change, I started to review the best way to have my resume updated. I am a senior executive so I wanted to make sure I choose the best option for my situation. I spent some time reviewing a number of options and companies to help me complete this very important task. I reviewed web sites and made phone calls for about 10 different company's. After reviewing GottheJob.com's web site, I decided to call and learn more. My call was picked up by Don the owner of the company, this was unusual as all of the other companies I called had either an operator/CSR answer the phone, or a sales person. The other companies were working hard to get me to commit to their service right then, most of them were offering me special deals as well. Not Don, he spent 15 minutes on the phone with me making sure he understood my situation, he gave me his standard price and suggested that I think about it and get back to him. Before the day was over I called GottheJob.com back, Don picked up, and I began my service with them. Soon after I was contacted by Yvonnea who scheduled a 1 hour interview with me. Yvonnea did a great job writing my resume, and Don did a fantastic job completing my linked-in profile (you have to have Don do this for you). It is no surprise to me that GottheJob.com has been rated the #1 resume writing service for the last two years, 2013 and 2014. When you go to their web site, check out their blog, and go to the bottom of their page and read the "10-Point Checklist for Choosing a Resume Writing Service" In my opinion, if you want your resume and linked-in updated to meet today's standards to get you the interviews needed to win the right job, you have to use GottheJob.com.

Greetings,
Partnering with Don Goodman of AboutJobs.com was most likely one of the "best” career decisions I have made in some time. I have the background and professional acumen; Don had the 'vision' and expertise to help craft my brand / meaning into tangible results in the form of a premium CV/Resume. I now stand confidently positioned to submit my credentials while targeting career opportunity commensurate with my level of skill / ability.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Michael L. Allen, PMP

I have worked, throughout the years with writers, for both my Resume, and personal content. None have been as professional, and talented, as Don. As he assessed my needs, he went beyond the standard Q&A, and actually built a behavioral profile. This gave me both depth, and confidence, in owning my updated Resume.

He ran several edits, and each time, took the time and patience to re-think all my comments and then re-position my strengths beyond my expectations.

He is now working on my LinkedIn profile and cover letter. He delivers the whole package from a high-end perspective, at reasonable costs. I will be using him again, in the near future. I can't recommend him enough.

As a seasoned professional the choice to hire someone to write your resume is one of the most important choices in one's career. I HIGHLY recommend Got the Job ! Don( owner), did a great job paring me with an exceptional resume writer- Tina. I have no idea how she did it but I wanted to jump up and down after reading my resume!! I was impressed with not only the quality but how she brought who I really am out in the resume! She cared about the resume and added her recomendations to help my resume stand out..

Thanks again everyone- I will refer you to anyone who needs a truley professional service:)

About Jobs is full service, the process was easy and professional. Every ambitious professional should invest in themselves in this way. Within 30 days of completing the process with About Jobs I accepted a new position. I couldn't be happier.

Take your own risk...

The service was exception from the inception of collaborating with the senior resume writer through completion. My advice is to not wait. Get Don's questionnaire, compile the information, and get it back to him for processing. It's by far the best decision I made for a quality product.

Don,

After researching all of the other firms online, I'm so grateful that I found your site. I am so happy that I ordered and invested in the Gold Package. My resume was by far the best I've ever seen. The synopsis "The 1 Pager", Cover Letter, Thank You Letter, ASCII, Top 15 Executive Job Boards and 10 Specialty Job Boards allowed me to be in a position of confidence that doing it on my own would never have allowed. Your book, "Read This if You Want to Get a Job" was succinct, well-written and kept me from going down the rabbit hole of posting to job boards, which is what I would have done on my own. Instead, the LinkedIn and Twitter techniques, along with the other tips allowed me to get a job and make me feel back to myself again.

I've already referred you to a bank executive as you know and hands down, I will always recommend you as "The #1 Guy". Thank you to you, Paula and the team for being expedient, efficient and delivering a Wow product and experience.

Don and staff did a great job organizing and putting into words my experience and qualifications. I did quite a bit of research before choosing this service and I am glad I did. I did read a poor review about Mr. Goodman not using a person's military experience, but they did a great job with mine. Great job, I am 100% satisfied.

...you are mid level or executive looking to update or completely revamp your resume. I did have a great experience and my interviewer, Paula, was top notch.

I very pleased with my resume after all the hard work of Don and Paula. They were timely in providing a final work product and answered all my questions thoroughly. i highly recommend gotthejob.

I was very satisfied with the process and the outcome of my resume. Mr. Goodman provide quick results. I would recommend to anyone seeking a fresh, attractive resume.
