There are no words to express the valuable help I have received from Behavet and Help my Dog over the last year. I have a very reactive dog who I thought I was never going to be able to help. I then stumbled across the Sexier than a squirrel challenge and saw how a games based approach to training really worked with my dog. I then saw an ad on Facebook for Behavet and realised I could get more help only paying via my pet insurance with no impact on my premiums. Dr Lily is amazing and the difference after a year’s guidance is incredible. Next was the thrive challenge with Tom and Anita - a marathon of free training again with a games based approach which provided so many light bulb moments. I have now joined the hub to complement the guidance provided by Dr Lily. If you have a dog who is proving to be a challenge then don’t despair. Struggling with my new rescue dog I was overwhelmed by all the different training advice on the internet. I came across Dr. Tom and Help My Dog Hub on Facebook and decided to give it a go…cost is very reasonable compared to other similar sites. I couldn’t believe the value of money as there is such a vast range of useful clear and educational videos and advice. Dr Tom is wonderfully passionate, extremely knowledgeable and experienced and for the first time I felt there was hope for me and my dog to overcome his struggles. In two months we have made so much progress from following Dr.Toms videos and live weekly broadcasts.The rarity of the HMD hub is that as well as being educational and easy to follow, it is entertaining and addictive! I can’t recommend HMD highly enough for anyone who has dogs, even if you are not particularly struggling I think you will still benefit from membership.The support from other members on Facebook is also wonderful. So much useful dog training information, given in such a sensible, down-to-earth way! Really helpful private Facebook group. Always value for money. Lots of new courses with step by step guidance and troubleshooting support. Great support team if you need help. Plus Tom Mitchell is always bouncy, enthusiastic, encouraging and fun - a delight to learn with.

I found out about Help My Dog Hub by taking part in the recent Help my Dog Thrive in 2025 challenge on Facebook. There was so much content in the challenge (which was free to join) that was really really helpful for my dogs, who are both rescues and very reactive and nervous. I have done a lot of research into in-person and online training for my dogs, and I hand on heart think this is the best training programme I've ever found. The training is delivered through games that are based on behaviour theory. They seem really simple at first, but already after 5 days, I've seen changes in my dogs wellbeing and ability to cope with new situations and challenges. Can't wait to join the Hub to keep the learning going!

I have been learning from Dr. Tom for a while now and through the Thrive 2025 challenge have now been fortunate to learn from Dr Anita as well. No matter what you know now, you will pick up something you didn't or a nuance of something you did know every time you listen to them speak.
The games based/concept training is the only way I train and has been and continues to be a game changer in daily life with my own 3 dogs.
I highly recommend joining the hub and I am super grateful for the free recent Thrive 2025 Challenge. Tons of information. Dr Tom and Dr Anita compliment each other perfectly and work with their different breeds, personalities and ages of dogs to demonstrate how the games can be changed to suit a specific individual.
The community is kind, compassionate and helpful.

I have been following Tom since 2019 and every time I watch a video or participate in the sessions I come away with aha moments and re-energized. The skills I have learned I pass along all the time. Thank you! I highly recommend helpmydog as a way to go and help with your dog behaviour concerns. You and your dog will have a much happier life.

Simple and straightforward strategies to help anyone who has a dog with struggles. You and your dog don't need any "training knowledge" to be able to see transformation. Play the games, add in levels and you will see a difference. My dog is reactive to other dogs. After working on games and strategies, he was able to go to a 3 day dog conference with 400 people and 100 dogs!

I absolutely enjoy the teachings by Tom! I get so much out of it every time! I am a veterinary professional who is wanting to redirect my profession towards behavior training. I am a Hub member and I am so grateful that there is new teaching weekly. It's like constant CE! The "ask" team(Madeleine and others) have always been extremely responsive and helpful. Help My Dog has been a life saver for me! Tom's teaching is amazing and so easy to understand and follow.

I have been a Hub member since the beginning and have now upgraded to expert level. I have followed the 10 Day Plan & Separation Anxiety course and am about to start Lead Walks Mastery to help my boy who can walk well unless he gets too distracted by a smell!

Help My Dog has just run a 5 day FREE course which has been a one hour live each evening with Tom and then additional teaching from Dr Anita, another behaviourist, the next day following up on the leaning with live demonstrations (this has been so useful to cement the learning).

Help My Dog combines the science of dog training with the practical and always keeps it real and easy to understand.

I joined the Helped My Dog 2025 Thrive Challenge. It was a great training to help my dog become less reactive. I can’t believe we got all that training an hiwtos for free. I joined the Hub today and started the 10 day challenge. I really liked the teaching style of Drs Tom and Anita. The resources in the hub are fantastic. I love the positive approach that they use.

I have completed the 10 day plan which caused me to use the consultancy service and have now decided to join the hub to get the best of two worlds. I asked my first question and got some very useful advice from other dog owners. who have been following help my dog longer than me.

Help! My Dog is a fantastic resource for those of us in the company of dogs, personally, professionally or both. I cannot recommend HMD highly enough whether troubleshooting an issue or building on your relationship.

We live with three large breed dogs, one of whom has severe reactivity, and via live teaching from a remote location combined with pre-recorded videos on the HMD Hub, HMD has taught my household humans how to manage and help all of our dogs navigate situations we could all find challenging.

Our reactive 9-year-old Staffy has lived with two Belgian Shepherds half his age (read young and liked to be extra obnoxious!) for 4 years now and we could not be happier.

Not only did we rescue our Staffy from terrible circumstances, we were able to rehabilitate him (and take on the two Belgians safely) using the HMD teaching. It's all humane and force free.

We are members of the Help! My Dog Hub, have completed the 10-day-plan toward less stressful walks and are now working our way through the Separation Solid course while we simultaneously learn to be calm with visitors in our house.

I just partipated in the 5-day help my dog to thrive challenge. Completely free of charge with two hour long (sometimes longer) teaching and Q&A sessions each day. I have Tom Mitchells book on concept training and have tried his methods with my previous dog very successfully. I now have a little rescue terrier and wanted a refresher course. It was amazingly helpful. So much so thst I have signed up for membership of his main training platform The Hub. Thoroughly recommended for anyone with a reactive dog who is willing to spend just a few minutes each day training and at the same time having fun with your dog.
