Experience was good , the best thing was Paul , he made a big difference to buying the car , being a older woman on her own , he was kind nothing was too much trouble , his advice was good , and very professional not pushy, and not just wanting a sale for his target, this attitude got him a sale , wouldn’t buy other wise , so in my opinion good salesman , or I wouldn’t have bought the car , on picking up the car , I do think you should make sure enough petrol and washer fluid was in the car , had to quickly get to a garage in fill up and put washer liquid in , just a touch disappointing, getting used to a new car is a stress at first without first thing was to find a garage quickly , but overall a good experience due to Paul G , thank you .

We had a lovely experience buying our car from Hilton Garage in Derby. From the moment we arrived, we felt really welcomed and looked after, and the customer service was excellent throughout.
A special thank you to Georgiana, who was absolutely lovely and made the whole experience so easy for us. She was incredibly friendly, patient and helpful, and took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all of our questions. Nothing ever felt rushed or pressured, which we really appreciated.
She made what can sometimes be a stressful process feel relaxed and enjoyable, and we really appreciated her kindness and professionalism.

Avoid! This is a dealership who don’t carry out checks on the cars and will seek you any rubbish. Undervalue part ex and sell you void warrenty. We travelled to see 2 cars- one being advertised as full service history- it did not have this at all- partially and then absolutely nothing for 5 years. The second car had an MOT advisory on it, which they didn’t know about ( clearly no real checks done) then tried to sell it without doing repair work, which would invalidate the warranty they sell you as a pre existing problem! Third car has a manufacturer recall on it, whihc again no checks has been done and the sales man didn’t even know this! The sales tactic is getting you to sit around, poor Saturday sales people who have totally check everything as they know nothing about the cars and you can only test drive one car at the weekend!!! Waste of time, don’t waste your money and make sure you check the cars history before purchase! Moiz was useless and left us hanging around for 2 hours!!

A lovely and very well established place, our salesman Nathan was super helpful and gave us all the info we needed about the car including a rundown of the work being done to it before I could drive it away. All the cars there seemed in great condition, well priced, and a wide selection. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and didn't make you feel pressured to buy. I'm loving my car and reassured knowing I have the warranty Nathan informed us about. I would absolutely go back to Hilton for another car when needed and recommend to anyone looking, thank you! 10/10

When I arrived i was greeted very well and taken to see the car, then taken to a room for a bank transfer to pay for the car, on telling them I was here to purchase on finance I was then taken back into the main reception to meet Rayhaan Nadeem.

When I was then given the keys to test drive the car, car was empty of fuel and when I asked if they could put some fuel in, they said they could see what they could do (nothing).

When it came to the finance, I was given an acceptance of £352 after the first accepted value of £345 over the phone, not a pre-approval. But this then was increased to £394 when I arrived at the garage. The explanation was that it was a pre-approval and that the APR had changed in the 18 hours from calling and arriving to see the car, but I distinctly remember asking the Ray and the woman who originally told me £345, if this was fixed over the phone and he and she said it was. I was then given a few times the choice to wait for a better option or I could accept that offer. Basically made me feel like i was being forced to take that deal. Then 2 applications were made while I waited which then came back worse as they had done 4 hard searches by this point to keep changing the price. Just wish they had kept the original price as it put a bit of a distain on the experience.

The car is amazing and the best price ive seen for the quality, which is the only reason I continued with this sale.

I was happy to be offered an MOT in January as part of the car deal to keep it going.

Excellence service delivery

Dealt with very well by Aizaan. Not rushed or pushed - could happily look at a selection of cars even though we had not made an appointment. Cars priced fairly and transaction was smooth. Had a decent offer on part exchange. Car prepared while we waited so could drive away same day.

Initially, the sales support was good, albeit very slow at times. However, once I had decided to proceed with the purchase, the overall experience deteriorated significantly.

I was told that I had 48 hours to arrange collection of the vehicle, otherwise I would be charged a daily storage fee. This was particularly frustrating given that the car subsequently took longer than expected to be prepared.

When we finally agreed a collection date, the car had still not been washed or valeted, and some of the bodywork corrections that had previously been agreed had not been completed. This was despite me being told that the work had been done and that the car looked amazing.

To their credit, the handover team worked hard to try to rectify the situation on the day. However, this meant the handover process took around 2.5 hours, which is completely unreasonable for collecting a car that should have been fully prepared beforehand.

There was also an issue with the extended warranty, which I felt was mis-sold to me during the handover. I subsequently had to chase three times to obtain the refund, which added further frustration to an already poor experience.

Overall, while the staff did eventually try to resolve some of the issues, the experience was far from what I would expect from a professional dealership. The combination of slow communication, pressure around collection and storage charges, the vehicle not being prepared as promised, an excessively long handover and the subsequent difficulty obtaining the warranty refund made for a very disappointing overall experience.

We had a wonderful experience on 18th September buying my first car independently, without my parents’ help. From start to finish, Moiz was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs.

As it was my first time driving an automatic on a test drive, I was quite nervous, but Moiz was incredibly reassuring and made me feel completely at ease. He took the time to explain everything clearly and simplify the whole process so that we understood every step.

He genuinely made us feel valued as customers, and we couldn’t be happier with our dream car! We’re one very happy family and can’t wait for all the adventures ahead in our new car. Thank you so much, Moiz, for making our first car-buying experience such a memorable one! 🚗
