My partner and I wanted to create an engagement ring using heirloom jewellery. Kirsty took the time to understand what was personally important to us and what we wanted in the ring - she was also incredibly patient with all of our questions! She designed a beautiful ring for us using two diamonds from the heirloom jewellery, and had sourced a variety of green pear-shaped stones for us to choose from for the centre. Kirsty and Holly were then really helpful keeping us posted on the ring as it was being made. Creating the ring was an incredibly special experience for both of us, - we would highly recommend Harriet Kelsall for their incredibly personal and supportive service, as well as their creative talent. We will absolutely be returning for the wedding ring itself!

Alice was friendly and approachable from the start. Never did we imagine that old broken engagement ring and a few bits of jewellery could be made into such a beautiful wearable ring. I had an old ring that my grandmother bought me for my 16th birthday, with the idea to get it modernised and to add my son's birthstone at the same time, to represent my family even more. During the consultation with Alice, the designer, we discussed about my project and my budget, and she drew a few designs, making use of the stones from the original ring and incorporating an emerald to represent my son. We used some gold that I had gotten from old family heirlooms, and she was also able to assess the gold quality and help us decide on what best to use. Overall, I had a great experience, and I really love the final ring, which feels very sturdy and is so pretty! I also wanted to thank Dalia, who helped me several times at the shop for several projects, and provided great customer service and advice every time.

I wanted something unique, handmade, and where I could have some input into the design. The piece came out very well, was beautifully packaged, and was ready for when I needed it. The people at Harriet Kelsall were friendly and helpful. A very good service.

Absolutely fantastic service and outstanding craftsmanship. All of the team are fantastic, the design process was really enjoyable and they helped a lot with turning an idea into reality. The communication process throughout was great, I was kept up to date with the dates and the estimated completion was bang on time.

I had some very sentimental jewellery that had an incredible story to it. The jewellery was old and not wearable. My husband and I got married on the 29th August as did my grandparents. My original wedding band after 11 years had snapped. I did some research and Harriet Kelsall just really stood out to me. High quality and ethical. I wanted this done properly! I also loved there store in St Albans, its so pretty. I called them up and spoke to an absolute 💎 of a lady called Bethany. I explained the story, what I wanted, and my budget. She made us an appointment to come in store for a consultation. It is so beautiful in there! So many amazing pieces and stones. Bethany and her amazing assistant Rachel were there to greet us and talked us through everything!! I showed them the old pieces I had and showed them pictures for inspiration, discussed what we could use and what we couldn't, all the risks involved. They wer'e so thorough. I felt so comfortable and knew I had made the right choice.
We spoke about so many different things, from the processes, the Assay office, hallmarks, gemstones...historically where the marks came from. Bethany was very knowledgeable and I really enjoyed our conversations. She there and then designed a set of new engagement and wedding rings to replace mine. I was memorised watching her. I instantly fell in love with the design. It was exactly what I had pictured. They measured my finger and booked my jewellery in. I paid my deposit. They explained the whole process from start to finish was 6 -8 weeks. I expressed that it would be so perfect if we could pick the rings up on Aug 29th as It was our wedding anniversaries. (7 weeks). We stayed in touch by email and they kept me updated on the progress. It was indeed ready for the 29th and this was so special for us. When we went to collect them last Saturday, I could have cried! They were the most beautiful rings I have ever seen. My grandad's mums antique old mine cut diamonds set into gold of my nans. Finally being brought back to life....so much love and history in one ring. My husband and I are delighted with the finished product and would like to thank all staff involved there for being part of this special journey. We liked it that much we are commissioning a matching wedding band to be made for my husband! Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

The attention to detail of this team at HARRIET KELSALL is second to none. They make you feel very special from start to finish & the aftercare is just as impressive. Here you buy an experience not just a ring & I would recommend them to anyone looking for that extra mile! I dealt with Niru on this occasion & it was excellent, the relaxed atmosphere, professionalism & regular communication made the whole experience very enjoyable. Thank you to everyone involved.

Amy helped us realise our vision for a bespoke engagement ring and matching wedding bands, which look incredible and were exactly what we were hoping for. Amy was patient, empathetic and creative, with the perfect balance of offering great creative input without dominating our own ideas.

I had three rings which I couldn't or was no longer wearing: my own, my mother's and my granny's wedding rings. With the skill and patience of Kirsty in the St Albans studio, her talent and that of all the craftspeople in the team means that I now have one beautiful handcrafted ring with a gemstone of a colour I had not seen before (and which fits my finger properly!). I went into Harriet Kelsall in Cambridge to enquire about having a bespoke eternity ring made and from the moment I walked through the door, I was made to feel so comfortable. Niru took me through the whole process step-by-step, showing me different rings and stones and producing designs on paper until I was happy with the result. What could have been overwhelming and daunting was made into a pleasurable experience from start to finish and I couldn't be happier with my beautiful ring. My engagement ring came from the Harriet Kelsall studio near Hitchin back in 2005, followed by our wedding rings (made to match) in 2006. For our 20 year anniversary, I was spoilt by a trip to the Primrose Hill studio, where my husband and I got to design an eternity ring to complete my beautiful set. Emily was brilliant at understanding exactly what I liked, and what would work, and designed me the most beautiful ring. Waiting while the ring was made (of course all 3 had to stay together to make sure they fitted!) was agony - but worth it once we got to collect them. Getting all the details on exactly who had taken the design, through to technical drawing, through to the making was amazing - real craftspeople. I've been wearing the ring for 4 months now, and still nearly walk into things because I'm busy admiring it. What a lucky girl.

Working with Amy to make two modern rings from an antique ring I would never wear, we talked through various ideas & design. Amy has an amazing skill.

Niru was our ring designer and she was fabulous during the whole process. She listened to us, gave advice, feedback etc and the rings ended up being the best that we can ask for thank you! We had such a wonderful experience at Harriet Kelsall in St Albans. We had multiple visits where Holly and Kirsty helped us figure out what we wanted from our ring and we were able to design such a beautiful ring! They were so amazing and were able to accommodate all our needs and answer all our questions. I cannot recommend enough!
