Passengers traveling on Aer Lingus flights have to pay extra to select a specific seat in advance of travel, and the cost varies depending on the type of seat you choose, such as Standard, Extra Legroom. Though it is important to remeber that a seat is assigned for free when you check in online 24 hours before your flight, but you may not be guaranteed getting two together. I you want to add on seats or Holiday Support can help if want to reach to them.

€1 deposit or not
When I selected holiday it qualified for €1 deposit & monthly payments. When I completed booking this no longer applied had to pay €300 deposit & pay balance in 2 instalments

The €1 deposit is only available on on all Aer Lingus flights to European sun or European city destinations it unfortunately doesn't apply for transatlantic routes unfortunately. On the transatlantic flights we offer a €100 per person low deposit, i have passed on your feedback to the team to make the €1 deposit eligibility more clear.

Booked a holiday through Aer Lingus…
Booked a holiday through Aer Lingus holidays. Turns out click and go are the providers. Given a quote and paid in full up front. Received a call an hour later stating flight had gone up by €180 and I had a choice to cancel the holiday or pay 50% of the increase. No proof provided that the flight had actually gone up in price. Basically didn’t honour my contract. Very disappointing outcome to my complaint so would not use them again

When you book a flight and hotel package 3 days before you travel you are going to be paying a much higher air fare than if you had booked weeks or months in advance were the better value will be available.
