Staff seemed like it was too much trouble to help with telephone enquires. When I ordered from their website the stock levels were showing as they had availability 20+. I received an email saying they did’nt have any. They offered no alternative, I replied and said what do you have in stock, as I needed it for Monday (I placed the order on Thursday/friday. They did’nt get back to me until Tuesday by then I had sourced an alternative. Very disappointed as I was willing to go to there shop in Bournemouth to hire an outfit. Very poor wont be using again.

Terrible. Bought an item online, no problem. Then got an email some days later to say it was out of stock. Why was there no 'out of stock' message when I bought it? Wouldn't use again.

The items were very small and not suitable for adults. I needed them for a play but they were totally unsuitable.

I ordered online and had my outfit delivered to the store for collection.
There was a good choice of outfits available for all budgets. I was phoned when my order had arrived and was able to collect it at my own convenience. The flapper dress is great- good quality; great shape; really comfortable design. Excited to wear it!

Fast service, good communication!

Paid for 24hr delivery and they sent it standard UPS. (Didn't arrive in time for my child's nativity) I called at 4.00pm on 2 days to find out if it had been dispatched to be told that the online department closes at 2.30pm. They never sent dispatch information as quoted on their website.
One of the items I purchased was extreamly cheap quality and fell apart as I took it out of the packaging.
They have refunded my postage but not responded to my email regarding service or faulty item.

The costume that we ordered was the wrong size,so we emailed the company and they promptly ordered a different size due to it not being in stock.The company kept us up to date with the progress and delivered a quality outfit.The customer service was excellent and I was very happy with my purchase.

I ordered online, all the items I ordered were showing stock levels of 20+, I then received an email stating that most of the ordered items were not in stock. It feels like the online stock levels are completely fabricated numbers, I ended up purchasing the items from amazon instead. Their customer service was good though and quickly gave me a refund for the items. Please improve your website or remove the stock levels as it must really be annoying a lot of people, there are replies from 2015 stating you know it is a problem and will sort it out soon!!

Fast, efficient and great value for money. Hollywood is my new go-to store for the junior would-be ninjas in our household! If you "need" plastic Katanas, daggers and throwing stars, look no further.

I was looking for a flapper outfit for a themed evening and found Hollywood Fancy Dress to have a wide selection of items. I chose my outfit and placed an order which is very straightforward and easy to follow. I received an email the next day to advise that the "instant kit" wasn't available but they would provide the parts separately in my order. The service was quick and efficient and all went smoothly. I would definitely use Hollywood Fancy Dress again if required.

Made a purchase of 2 items, both listed as in stock, but received an email telling me they couldn’t supply as was out of stock a day later leaving me to hunt locally

Costumes were great, but sent the wrong sizes and 3 items missing . Online customer service were helpfull and issued a refund but the store was useless. Will never be using again is far to much hassLe .
