I purchased the release of information…
I purchased the release of information forms and they do not work. I went through customer service and they told me how to fix the problem. It worked one time and then went back to prefilling old information on to the release. This is a HIPPA violation so I cannot use this software. Very disappointing. Other wise things were fine,

I have been trying for MONTHS to cancel…
I have been trying for MONTHS to cancel my subscription. They just keep charging my credit card! You cannot even go in and remove your card from your account. I'm getting ready to call the Attorney General's office and file a consumer complaint. Hushmail is the WORST! I would advise anyone thinking about using Hushmail to think twice - NOT WORTH IT!

Used to be great, now terrible
Hushmail used to be great, I used it for years but within the last year I have been getting bombarded with spam and junk mail that I repeatedly report and block with no success. I end up with hundreds of emails in my junk folder every day, I empty it then within 5 minutes there at least 20 more. I am ready to go back to good old paper, envelope and stamps.

Helpful and Responsive
I have used Hushmail now since May 2017. I have always been impressed with their customer service. Most recently they notified me that I needed to update my domain. The flag indicator wouldn't go away after the update. I emailed and the next day it was fixed and someone emailed me to make sure it was fixed. I love the speedy response and also how they keep me up to date.

Easy and Compliant
The set-up was easy and there have been no technological issues. Hushmail met all of my employer’s requirement for HIPAA compliance.

Strongly recommended for personal and small business use
I’ve been using Hushmail for many years now for both personal and business email. This email service is not free BUT the old saying “you get what you pay for” holds true. In all these years my email accounts have never been hacked and I’ve yet to see any evidence of malicious government activity either. While I cannot make guarantees about the things I can’t know, I am stating that I have personally not had any known breaches of my accounts in all these years.
The customer service team is very helpful though somewhat difficult to reach via phone, but quite responsive via email. Each time I’ve contacted them they’ve been very nice, so much so that they’ve even increased my storage beyond what was commercially available (I already was paying for the highest tier available).
I strongly recommend this email service to everyone especially to small businesses.
