Impactenergyecogrants Reviews

Please do not book solar installation through this company at this time, they are suspended from the MCS Register. You can check this yourself by going to the MCS Database. As of 16/10/2026 they still have MCS logo and registration on their website.

I have been unable to receive the MCS Certificate for my installation completed in September and now have to got through legal hoops to resolve it.

Everyone I had contact with at Impact Energy, from the surveyor who assessed my house's suitability for a heat pump, Roberto who guided me through the process with endless patience, to those who did the installation. were friendly, helpful and efficient. The whole process was much easier (for me at any rate) than I expected. The heat pump also is working well.

Unfortunately our experience was not positive we were left for 21/5 weeks with an illegal gas leak which left us in a dangerous situation. We were told that they couldn’t contact our supplier Octopus for this timeline. I would not let them over my doorstep again.

Solar PV and Battery storage system installed by Impact, found the cost highly competitive after researching for months and luckily landed on them after a colleague recommendation.
The process was smooth and simple from initial inquiry to survey/quote and installation stages. Luke & Max did a great job of the roof work and electrical connections, they worked to accommodate around a few specifics I wanted regarding location without issue.
Sean was our main point of contact for the project and has been great throughout with professional and efficient communication. He worked quickly around weather and access delays out of anyone's control so would definitely (and have!) recommend Impact for Solar PV.

Excellent professional service . Definitely recommend Impact to my friends .Thank you .

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Impact Energy for solar panels, everything was spot on. From design, price, workmanship and quality I couldn’t find fault. The team worked really hard and quick, were tidy throughout and got the job done within a few days. Communication from head office again was exceptional, enough updates (which were adhered to) stopped what could have been a stressful situation brilliantly.

Excellent service from Impact Energy!

I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Impact Energy. From start to finish, the whole process was handled in a very professional and efficient manner. The installation team were extremely neat, tidy and respectful, and it was clear that they take great pride in their work.

A special mention has to go to Sean Mulholland, who was exceptional throughout the installation. Sean was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure the installation went smoothly. His professionalism and friendly approach really stood out.

The quality of the work was excellent, and the whole experience was much easier and more straightforward than I expected.

I would highly recommend Impact Energy to anyone considering solar panels. Fantastic company, excellent workmanship and great customer service. 5 stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not pushy. Also what helped the people are friendly and very helpful when it came to going through what electricity I use to the solar panels that are required. A big shout out to Jake and his team.

We had our solar panels fitted recently by fantastic team.they are efficient, friendly exellent from Roberto to J the surveyor and fitting team, the electricians and roofers fitting solar panels.they cleaned up left no mess.Very experienced team they knew exactly what they were doing.all working great 👍 👏
I certainly recommend Impact Energy to anyone looking for future cheaper energy etc.

A truly excellent service from start to finish, Jacob is a clear and good communicator. Along with Jason our on site surveyor, whom was knowledgeable and constructive in his information to me. The plumbing team were studious and had a good work ethic, especially Craig who had to work in the loft on the hottest day of the year poor chap. The electrician completed the system, Matt was happy and explained my system in detail after he set it up. Considering a major job took place I didn't feel uncomfortable at any time due to the professionalism of the whole team, thanks to Impact energy,
Regards John

Great guys to work with. Responsive and sorted all problems and everything works a treat. Thanks to Roberto for the service and telephone smiles!

Contacted this company after being let down by another. Staff extremely polite and friendly from the start, needs discussed and job plans started really quickly. All staff introduced themselves and kept in touch on a regular basis.
Given dates for the start of work within short space of time after contacting them . Work team all worked in synch with each other to complete a total refit of central heating and heat pump.
Very happy with all aspects of the job and staff involved, would highly recommend them to others…

Review for Impact Energy
We recently had insulation work carried out by Impact Energy. I want to begin by saying that the insulation team themselves were very good — professional, efficient, and they completed their work to a high standard. We were genuinely pleased with that part of the service.
Unfortunately, everything that followed with the other teams (joinery, electrical, and plumbing) was a complete nightmare.
The joiner assigned to our property was highly unprofessional. His attitude was negative from the start, he was uncooperative when we asked simple questions about the work, and at times spoke rudely and used inappropriate language. He appeared rushed, careless, and left work unfinished. On one occasion, he left the property without informing us.
Even more concerning was the state in which the house was left — debris, carpet cuttings, dirt, and even loose screws scattered across the floor. With a baby in the home, this was completely unacceptable and posed a serious safety risk.
After repeatedly chasing the office manager, some of the outstanding work was eventually carried out. However, the job was still left incomplete, particularly the skirting board work. It has now been over four months since the main works were completed, and despite continued follow-ups, we have received no response from management to resolve the remaining issues.
The electrical and plumbing work also lacked professionalism and did not meet expectations. The only other positive experience we had was with the heating engineer, who was respectful, tidy, and ensured everything was completed properly before leaving — which shows the standard that should have been maintained throughout.
Overall, while the insulation work itself was good, the poor workmanship, lack of communication, and unprofessional behaviour from the other teams turned this into a very stressful experience.
This is honestly one of the worst companies I have dealt with. I would not recommend Impact Energy and would strongly advise others to think carefully before using their services. Also to mention about cancellations of appointments last minute and at times the workers didn’t turn up making if difficult for us as were have been taking days off from work and all you know is they didn’t arrive.
