Dont bother proceeding with a quote if you have a new car as the system wont recognise it and as an online only company they wont discuss / resolve via email -0 hence its a waste of time.

I can only imagine how awful it would be to be a customer if thats how they treat a prospective 2.5K new business.

They took my premium then after the 14 days had passed sent a request for proof of no claims. I sent them the email from my previous insurance but they wouldn't accept it as an email and I was abroad so unable to access a hard copy so they cancelled my policy and refused to refund the payment even though only gave 14 days cover.

Before getting the quotation, i already put in the details about my over speed convicton over 30 a few years ago. I saw the price of this quotation was £1000, which was reasonable, so i bought it.
They cancelled the car insurance policy all in a sudden because "i didn't state the conviction into the details". Now they asked me to repay the refund, which is understandable, plus the additional fee for the conviction for more than £500!! Horrible service i ever had. I am blamed not to point out the overspeed conviction as if I was lying. They didn't do the job but blamed customers so to increase the price. They kept calling u missed documents to upload and blamed u have any missing information regardless i already did it, and then they could add u extra pay.
Updated: they just sent me an email with rude attitude, regardless i’ve already bought a better insurer!

Shocking!
Took out insurance with them then decided to cancel the next day. It was over 2 weeks until my insurance actually started but I was told by three different customers service agents that I would have to pay £45 to cancel it as it was in my terms and conditions. I checked, this was a complete lie and they then decided to refund me when I explained this, wording it like they were doing me a favour. This tactic might work for pensioners but not me!! I will never buy insurance from them again.

I made an administrative error across two policies, and a very patient and helpful Lauren helped me sort the error on the phone.

I insured my car and made the mistake of cancelling an SP30 that I received 04/10/22 we i purchased ion the website. My insurance is due to commence on 13/03/2025 and I received an e mail from I2D saying that in needed to pay a further £289 otherwise my insurance would be cancelled and I would be charged a £45.00 administration fee. A total rip off as I put my car details in the comparison website with the SP30 and could purchase cheaper. I will never be using the company again.

This is a bad insurance company. I don’t advise anyone to insure with it. I had a very painful experience with them.

Insure to.drive ignored my pleas to.resolve my repair and deliberately cut of my calls with phone ringing out over 40 times. Increased my insure by double when no claim was.authorised and then did nothing about repair. It is only now that it has been authorised due to the fact I told them I would report them to the FCA and the motor Ombudsman. I am left to pay double insurance before any authorisation because the put a note on the system. They have just authorised this now after 6 months. I intend to sue them for mental anguish as I suffer from PTSD which they were well aware.. The anguish and frustration has played havoc on my health. Do not have anything to.do with this insurance company they are deplorable.
