We have used JF twice to find a new tenant for our flat. This process worked out fine however they have now started to use a new lengthy electronic contract involving a third party and within this they mention the services they can provide re home letting service. All sounds great. However be warned this is just a process designed to be ambiguous and provide them another income stream at the expense of unsuspecting clients. Our experience relates to energy providers.In the new contract its states they can share your details with potential energy providers seems harmless enough. Then once the contract is signed they send you and email about home letting services they can provide, however this is the trick, you have to read this email and opt out otherwise you give them licence to fleece you. In our case we found out our energy provider had been changed between new tenant's. I spent hours on the phone with my old energy provider to try and find out what was happening and to block this change, eventually filling in an erroneous change process which takes 20 days to implement.The new provider in the end basically blocked this. I then got in touch with the new provider who eventually after several calls informed me my energy supply had been switched by Jordan Fishwick. So my energy supply was changed without my knowledge and new suppliers tariff was 6% higher. So Jordan Fishwick used this process to gain a payment from the new energy supplier and increase the cost of my energy supply without ever informing me.
When I called to complain they hide behind the contract, they are not interested in your issues. Great customer service, definitely not.Problem is they will runout of customers very quickly.

As a one property landlord, Jordan Fishwick's chosen contractors will often and repeatedly overcharge on parts and labour for repairs. Often this can be over twice the price of the parts when viewed online.
Jordan Fishwick will make no attempt to challenge these costs or even ask for a breakdown of what parts will be used. I have never once been given a receipt or itemised breakdown of costs for repairs. Jordan Fishwick have worked with the same contractors for the entire time I have rented through them and make no attempt to shop around to find a cheaper price.
They have a very cosy relationship with contractors who wilfully overcharge on parts and landlords are simply expected to eat the costs, which can often be several hundreds of pound inflated.
I once asked for a full breakdown of costs for a repair and received a document that simply said "Parts - £X, Labour - £X"
When asked to challenge the costs or provide parts breakdowns they will tell you to arrange your own repairs, completely ignoring the management service rules they themselves sign up to.
They have zero care for tenants, often leading to long waiting times on repairs while repair costs are challenged, and will pressure you into just accepting the highly inflated quoted price.
If you're a small time landlord do not rent through Jordan Fishwick.
We had several viewings within a few hours of the property going on the market, they were all well vetted which gave us the confidence required to proceed. We were kept updated throughout the process and every questions or query we had was professionally answered. We were in safe hands and delighted that we managed to find a suitable tenant quickly.

Lara Tagg has been extremely efficient, helpful and professional throughout the process. She has made quite a stressful sale after initially falling through at the last minute have a positive outcome by acting quickly and securing another sale very quickly and ensuring a smooth transaction. I am disappointed with the communication received from Jordan Fishwick Sale regarding my offer on a property.
My offer for a property was verbally confirmed as rejected, with the agent explicitly stating that the process had ended, and the landlord had accepted another final offer. However, I subsequently received a formal "rejection letter" which completely contradicted this, stating that I was welcome to increase the offer and that the company "look[ed] forward to further negotiations."
When questioned, the agent apologized, confirming the letter was a "generic rejection letter" and that no further opportunity to increase the offer was available.
Buying a property is a significant and stressful process. For an established company to send out generic, mass-produced templates that directly conflict with a verbal final decision adds unnecessary stress and confusion. It shows a severe lack of care and accuracy in communication.
Furthermore, no proper, constructive feedback was provided on why our offer was rejected in the first place, beyond the property going to "best and final offers." I would expect a professional estate agent to provide clear, specific details in such a significant transaction, not confusing, automated responses. I hope the company addresses the use of these misleading templates to avoid causing similar frustration to future clients.

Harry and Jordan Fishwick disappointed throughout after selling a dream service:
They failed to generate any credible bids after managing 34 viewings. I subsequently managed 11 viewings directly leading to 6 bids above or significantly above asking price
Their service was poor throughout. They failed to prepare for the viewings and lacked a basic understanding of the property (parking, loft, etc.) despite us asking for a meeting to discuss multiple times
It felt that they needed managing and support throughout and we had to cancel the contract as we had no trust they could deliver on the sales process
Following our withdrawal Harry became passive aggressive and highly unprofessional, with a service far far short of the minimum baseline you’d expect
Jordan Fishwick went the extra mile to get our purchase over the line. Can't praise them enough for their hard work on our behalf.

Good communication all the way through the process
It's been almost two months, and I'm still waiting for my deposit back. I wouldn't be so bothered if they communicated, but they can take some time just to email back. It's just a worry as I'm trying to move into my next property, and to do that, I need my deposit back from the previous place. It's just delayed my whole move-in date by months.
