I’m so pleased with the results after using Josh Wood hair colour. My hair genuinely looks and feels so healthy.
I stopped colouring my hair years ago because I was fed up with the way it felt. I was really apprehensive about starting again, but I’m glad I did.
I can’t be happier with the result.
When the colour arrived I was surprised with the quality of the packaging so a good start.
The fact you can choose the different shade to make sure you get the best result is brilliant and all the little extras that come with the dye, barrier cream, stain remover, conditioner and strong gloves..all goes to show the quality.
I found my perfect shade now and I will definitely be returning. I’m thinking about joining the subscription which gives you a good discount.
I was also really happy with the customer service experience.

Amazing colour and condition
Wish I started using this colour years ago , after using box dyes for 20 years and recently trusting my hairdresser to colour my hair I decided to give Josh Wood a try , I cant believe how good it is , after 4 weeks my hair still has the same rich colour and condition , obviously I have grey roots that I can hide but im not colouring it for another week ! By week 4 normally im desperate to colour it, it’s faded and dry but not with Josh Wood !!!

I was sceptical, I have been dying my hair for around 20 years. Box dye often leaves an orange tone ….. Josh wood brown, is brown.. no orange 😊
I would say it is a little drying on your hair, I have extremely thick hair.

Product is the very best home colour l…
Product is the very best home colour l have ever had. Hair feels and looks healthy, shiny and professionally coloured. Only thing is the colour tends to lighten and become a little brazzy rather than the cool mid brown l like. I use the Gloss between colour which helps. Customer service is excellent. Just tried the Glossing Water and am loving it.

Best home hair dye I've used and I've tried loads but this one doesn't dry hair out in fact it feels in better condition then it has for years. No bad smell when using and the colour doesn't fade easily. Would recommend 💯 percent

I love josh wood products. The hair dye's last longer than other ones i have used and they smell so nice. My hair is softer. They cost a bit more but definitely worth it

Clear instruction sheet. Prompt delivery. I did a root touch up and the colour was easy to apply as it was thick enough not to dribble and splash. What I really liked was my hair feels so soft and there is no residual smell of dye. The resulting colour was exactly what I wanted.

Hair falls out!
I bought the dark blonde hair dye, it turned my hair dark brown and it started coming out in clumps. Please don’t make the same mistake I did!!!!

Poor customer service. Poor operations.
I ordered miracle systems where the product is advertised as coming with a pot and brush to colour. I did not get the right amount of these. I emailed asking for the items to be shipped as it was an incomplete delivery, I didnt get a reply. I followed up again by email and didnt get a reply. Poor customer service, non-existent actually. Cant say much for the product as I may return it given its left a bad taste from the packing failure with missing items I paid for and I don't want to use products from companies that take the money and go silent when things go wrong. Will look elsewhere for regular hair colour products.
Update: the response to a trustpilot review being next day whilst not responding to multiple emails - where I have already emailed expert@ with my order number says a lot. They want their public image to look good despite operationally not working, and having dismal customer service when reaching out directly via email.

Josh Wood Hair Colourant is Definitely the Best for Me
Josh Wood Hair Colourant is very easy and straightforward to use, and never drips. I use the Miracle System with the Darkest Brown Colour + Smoky Brunette Colour Corrector. I achieve the most fabulous colour, which is the most natural I have ever found possible when using a hair dye. I could not be happier, especially as this product also has no negative effect on my natural curls. I bought a few items along with the…
I bought a few items along with the hair colour, it was the brightest blonde they had and I coupled it with an icy tone, believe it would just even the greys on my very light hair. But nope, it turned me brown and I absolutely hated it. I received an email from an expert @joshwoodcolour.com to ask for feedback of if I needed any help, so I explained that I wasn't happy. Furthermore, I noticed on their website that there was a full refund if you weren't happy. I emailed them 3 times to tell them I wasn't happy and I felt their icy toner at least was an over-sell as it didn't absolutely nothing to the medium boring brown hair and I also thought as it's offered, I may as well ask for a refund.
PS You cannot cancel your subscription, only postpone your next order. This should not be the case, it should be very easy for a customer to cancel - JoshWoodColour - please note the following case:
Ofcom fined Virgin Media a record £28 million for making it deliberately and excessively difficult for customers to cancel their contracts.
Update 08/10/26 - After some communications back and forth, once they located my emails they did refund me ASAP and cancel my subscription for me. They have also been very attentive in emails since then and have offered to send me a care package.
To summarise; once they located my order, they were very apologetic and kind. It was not an auto generated or AI, you could tell it came from a real person, so I am very pleased with that. However I still do maintain, it should be easy to navigate and find how to cancel an order.

I love the miracle system
After years of getting my hair coloured at a salon, I decided to try the miracle system and I love it - the process is really simple and the result is great. Started using Josh Wood Colour during lockdown and never looked back. It’s important to me that they don’t test their products on animals. The colour is great and I like their shampoo, conditioner and gloss too.

Maria was wonderful and I totally…
Maria was wonderful and I totally trusted her skill and judgement. She made me feel at ease to go for a total transformation to colour my hair after I had left it to go grey. Maria arranged a consultation and colour test. She was very patient and took time to talk to me about what I wanted and the colours that would suit me. Maria welcomed me to the saloon and made sure I had coffee and was comfortable. She diligently covered all my hair. She then added another colour to tone my hair at the front. The dye was gentle and did not sting my scalp or smell of ammonia. The results are wonderful. Everyone has commented on the colour is and how healthy my hair looks!
