Quite possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had with a business. They will steal your money and completely ghost you. I made a $100 purchase on December 1, 2024…order not received. They are lying saying it was delivered but will provide no response or proof that they even shipped the order. Utter disgrace of a company.

Would rate a ten if possible came quick then meant to and he is such a lovely block

Incorrect order received. This saga has been ongoing since 5th Feb. Sent 7 emails to company. Received no reply. Asked for prepaid return label and refund,nothing heard. Plus it took two weeks to deliver the wrong order. Customer Service Appalling, would never use this company again and recommend anyone thinking of using company to read all the reviews.

Took a long time to come. 4 items missing in pick n mix, with no substitutions, which I’m sure could have been made as they weren’t exactly unique flavours.
However what I did get was good

Initially impressed with the UI, had an order confirmation, then nothing. Email 7 days after the order to say it was dispatched, but Evri didnt recieve it until 28th and it sat there for 2 days delivered on the 3rd March, so 12 days in total, a lot more than stated on the delivery details when you order.
I was missing 2 items, and complained that there were no best before dates on the bags, and some bags were open when I received them, it didnt seem particularly hygienic. I did get a response quite quickly as follows.
"We don't need to provide best before dates on our sweets, we have to show best before dates on our jars under instruction and direction by Newcastle Health and Safety department.

We a have a 5 star health rating for our warehouse.

The items you've mentioned missing, were processed and included within your order.

Was the parcel damaged or open on delivery? If so, please supply photos of said damage."

So no apology and in the absence of a packing/picking slip in the box, it appears my word against theirs, I replied the box wasn't damaged and since then no reply, or offered of a refund for the missing items, which were also not substituted if they were out of stock.

Im going back to Sweetzy who are a little more expensive but Im willing to pay that for for freshness, best before dates and reliable delivery and polite & friendly comms.

I willl first off say the prices are quite good compared to a lot of other places that do these pick n mix bags. The choice they have on their website is great but.....

It says items may be subsituted or you might get more of others depending on stock, thats fine, but one of my bags had 4 or 5 of the items i chose missing, which is a bit much, 1 or 2 out of stock fair enough but half the order not so good.

other reviews have also mentioned issues with shipping, so i already knew i was not going to get these quickly.

The order took 12 days, they create the delivery with EVRI a few days after your order, then it just sits on the tracking that EVRI are waiting for it to be sent to them. Once EVRI actually got their grubby hands on it, they got it to me within 48hrs. They seem to struggle with getting the orders together and getting them to EVRI.

Its fine, i got some old sweets you dont get anywhere nowadays, i wasnt in a rush for them, but if you are looking for a quick turnaround with exactly what you pick in your order then i would not use them.

I ordered my sweets on the 10th Feb and the Web site said 2-3 days for pick and dispatch I didn't hear anything until iemailed them to find out what was happening on the 7th Feb I then conveniently received an email saying my order had been dispatched with a tracking number so I checked the tracking details every day and every day all I got was package with sender I emailed joyofsweets for them to confirm they had posted the order and claiming Yodel don't scan the package on collection finally on the Friday I checked the tracking details to be told Yodel gsf received the parcel and when I did receive my parcel there were 2 items missing, when questioned about the delay all i got was excuses about being busy or is within our terms and conditions,
not impressed and needless too day I won't be using them again

Great choice. Great sweets. Will order again. Delivery a wee bit slow but worth the wait

I just had to come and give My honest review after reading the negative ones especially the Long delays before the Buyer receives there sweets and the Non communication as I have only experienced the opposite and can praise this Lovely Family Sweets Business
1st My 2 seperate orders from ordering to actually arriving with Yodel has been
Sunday ordering arriving Wednesday
And 2nd Order arrived Within 1 Day
And every Email and Facebook message has been answered in a polite Way
Thankyou Joy of Sweets for what must be the biggest choice of sweets by mail order

Sweets are great everything went well packing nice and sturdy. One suggestion (not a moan) try and reply to emails. Other than that thank you.

I was looking to buy some fizzy sweets and this company popped up. I looked on their page and found exactly what I wanted only fizzy sweets at a great price so I bought 2. They arrived today and I am over the moon with the selection. There are some that I haven't had since I was a little girl and thought disappeared. This will 100% be the only place I order these from now and they also have a whole range of other sweets which I might branch out and be brave to try lol.

I wishing recommend order from here I placed a order on the 26th of January , I’ve been trying to contact customer service for the past for the past 72h regarding the wear about of my order and I’ve had no reply I got sent a tracking code a week after I placed my order but there has been no updates on it . Very poor service and lack of communication with customers

Edited review - Experience has been a bit of a hoohaa but I'm assuming they're a small business with a big growing custom.
Order itself is fab, as advertised & good quality. Really nice touch being able to chose your own pick n mix.
Delivery time is slightly longer than I expected & has taken two weeks, but if you aren't eager & are willing to wait, it is worth it in the end.
I am being compensated for any inconvenience caused & that's all you can ask for 🙂

Wish i had looked at reviews did a purchase on 19th jan still not received my items sent 2 emails no reply to the first , replied to the 2nd one to say tracking apparently wrong and they would send me some more out Thursday 30 th as i needed them for Friday 31st its now 1st of feb out of pocket as i had to rush and buy sweets for an event last night still not received Evri saying not received yet but there no use to me now won’t be using again

The sweets where good but some never had taste in them

Ordered over 2 weeks ago, been with yodel for a week just says with sender. No communication from seller despite asking for sn update over the weekend. Will not be using again

Waited 3 weeks before I got my order. Need more staff if it takes a week to pack a small order.
Evri had my parcel for 12 days and didn’t update which was not their fault but the communication was poor. They stated they take 48 hours to reply but they didn’t reply to me for a full week after saying they would contact Evri.
Sweets were good though and well priced. Some were replaced with other things but quality of sweets can’t be argued with. Would order again if the processing time and customer service improved.

Totally agree with Carol Weston.
The box states no 2 boxes are the same yet my 5 boxes are all the same.
Disappointed and absolutely terrible customer service!!!!!!
