Would give 0 if I could!!

Ordered a McDonals and delivered with items missing from order and refuse to give refund. No reason given. Ignored when asked for the reason for their decision.

Half of our order was missing. The driver took half of our food. Restaurant confirmed via CCTV they handed the full order to the driver. We only received half, but could only check once we gave them the code. We complained to the driver, he ran off on his bike. We emailed the restaurant they confirmed they gave the full order. Emailed Just Eat and say that because we gave the code it appears as delivered therefore no refund can be given. This is a catch 22 situation, how can I check my order is complete if I have to first give them a code, which confirms delivery? Just eat dont seem to hold the drivers accountable in any way. Wont use them anymore.

Terrible company, undermining the laws of this country and putting families at risk. Boycott just eat

Ordered a McDonalds through Just Eat. First of all the delivery took ages to come despite McDonalds being just 5 minutes from my house. When the food came the whole order was freezing. The chips were not fresh as they were all soggy. If I had known it was being delivered on a bike I wouldn't have ordered.
The price should have been £27 but there was a £10 discount but it was still £17, which is by no means cheap.
Tried to get a refund but told by Just Eat that on this occasion I could not get a refund.

Order arrived significantly late, with food cold, burnt and dry. I complained and requested a refund.

Just Eat initially refused, despite me explaining the problems with both the delivery and food quality. After repeatedly escalating the complaint, they eventually issued £6.06 account credit and £6.06 back to my card, but refused to refund the remaining amount.

I repeatedly requested that a manager contact me. Instead, I continued receiving replies from “Escalation Support Advisors”, despite specifically asking for a manager.

I was eventually told this was their “final decision”, with no manager contacting me and no proper explanation of why £12.12 was considered adequate compensation for an order that was significantly delayed and arrived cold, burnt and dry.

Extremely poor customer service and absolutely no meaningful escalation. I would not recommend Just Eat based on this experience.

I will be deleting my account. Made an order and the restaurant rang within 10 minutes to query the order. They were rude so I told them I’m cancelling the order. Cancelled the order and I know the food has been started as they phone to query but they won’t refund me

Avoid Just Eat UK for any orders. Ordered from Papa Johns Southend at 8.40. Delivered at 10pm cold and inedible and unable to reheat as in hotel. Left with no evening meal.
Apparently that’s acceptable as they cannot refund or compensate
Bet the CEO wouldn’t accept this. But then they probably know not to use the waste of time company in first place. Just take a look at all the reviews - they don’t seem at all bothered.

just eats delivery driver came to my door very late at night, i requested the food be left at the door as i have an anxious dog and didn’t want to wake up the whole flat block, the driver took my code and then ran off with my food, i watched him run to the car with it as i opened the door and realised it wasn’t there, just eat then refused a refund, i’ve fed their driver £20 worth of food then had to re order it and received nothing back for it, so incompetent and will never be ordering from there again.

Made 2 orders over a span of 4 hours.
First order said delivered, never arrived.
Second order the same happened.
No contact from JustEat, just marked it delivered at never received the food.
Has been charged for both orders and now have to wait "a few days" before they get back to me.

Never ordering from just eat. My discount code didnt work and there is no contact for them

Horrendous service. Delivered someone else's order. Sent photos asking for refund as Im significantly out of pocket - and I'd added a tip!!! Just received a generic email saying they won't be refunding me thanks for my understanding!!!! Will be following up, this is daylight robbery.

If I could give zero stars I would but the customer services are useless and pathetic

I ordered various groceries from a Coop grocery store; only eight of my items did not arrive. I contacted the store the next day, only for them to tell me that it wasn't up to them to refund me, even though the items I ordered were from them. They told me that I had to contact Just Eat for a refund. However, when I clicked on the option for help in Just Eat, it simply told me that because my order was more than 24 hours ago, I could not make a complaint, so I was £19.50 out of pocket for items I never received. Never again will I be using either Just Eat or the Coop.

Don't bother using these use deliveroo instead!
Stopped using these a while back but used them again and in the first week had 1 order late turned up cold second order was incorrect both times a refund was rejected

I would give minus negative stars if I could, even one is generous. Has significantly gone down hill with cold food, late delivery (over 2.5hrs!), missing items to name but some of the issues. The nail in the coffin is poor customer service and refusing to provide a full refund leaving us hungry and out of pocket. Don't touch with a barge pole!

Food arrived cold. Contacted the restaurant who weren't interested. Just Eat offered £3 in credit. £3!!!

Their customer service is non-existent. Bunch of absolute chancers.

Just a scam. I have ordered a drink and it was broken into the food straight to the garbage bin. THey refused to refund with an automatic email. Just a SCAM will avoid this forever!

Just letting scammers run unchecked on their website. They have companies which advertise super late times with which they claim to be open yet the shop itself is not. I ordered from popeyes and KFC on separate occasions both around midnight but the hours listed go till 4am. Whoevers is running accepts the order so you can't cancel for a refund then allows the time to tick on and on without ever assigning a driver and will claim it's been delivered when you complain in the morning. I drove past this chain at 2am and it was shut with the lights off so clearly not making my order. Just eat refused a refund despite me never getting food or having any driver turn up and ask for a code.

Very disappointing. A nearly £50 order arrived cold, soggy and burnt, with most of the food having to be thrown away. Just Eat offered only £11.01 credit and, despite reviewing the complaint, refused to reconsider. This wasn’t simply an issue with temperature, the food was not acceptable. After how this was handled, I’ll be avoiding Just Eat in future.

Ordered about £25 of food from burger king in canary wharf with delivery and service it was about £28 and was really looking forward to it as its a rare treat for me. Id saved it for the end of the week and l only get 1 takeaway per month.
Burger king packed 2 orders mine and another customers and sent it with my delivery driver.
He gave me their order and disappeared before l could even check it. This customers order had items l dont eat or drink so they were not consumed and my order was more expensive than theirs too.
I provided them with 3 forms of proof, my original order email receipt, photos of the food items still wrapped with labels on, and the other customers receipt that was taped to the bag to show the difference in orders. I also got in touch with customer service within 3 minutes of receiving the food, l also called Burger King and said l got the wrong order and they said not our fault its down to just eats driver and to contact them as they had no way of contacting the driver.
Just eat replied with the usual line of sorry you went through this frustrating experience and thanks for letting us know, but sorry at this time we cannot issue a refund.
I messaged back with are you kidding me? I couldnt have provided more proof and you're doing this! Im recalling the money through my bank and putting this online everywhere l can put it, how dare you rip paying customers off like this?
The next day a human emailed me with the sorry blah blah same old nonsense. Can l please send the photos of what l recieved and the receipts. I did so and the next day they came back to me again with the same sorry you experienced this and we will take this feedback on board but we are still not able to refund you at this time as it is not in line with our policy. So some other stranger gets bought a £30 meal by me and l get what? A cold portion of dry chips, a tiny burger, half a cup of a sickly synthetic frozen fanta drink that went straight down the sink lest my teeth explode from drinking this overflavoured over sugared concoction, monster energy drinks that are still sitting in my fridge now waiting for anyone to come to visit and drink them because l wont, and some BBQ sauce which l hate anything bbq. l ordered a triple cheese whopper, onion rings, cheesy bacon loaded fries, and 2 tubs of cheddar cheese sauce and a salted caramel milkshake.
F. You Just Eat, thats theft your keeping money thats mine when l didnt get my items. I deleted my Just Eat account the following day and blocked all their promotional emails. I cant believe l paid for that driver to screw me over. Maybe if they stopped using illegal immigrants that cannot speak or read English it would happen less, you have to be able to read the customers order and address at the very least. Literally thousands of people are having my issue with them as well, most dont get any food delivered at all and dont get a refund. I guess l was lucky to of received any food at all even though it was cold and not mine. Never again. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, Youve been warned, these guys are straight up scammers now!!
