I had a verv disappointing experience with Just Eat
I placed a grocery order from Asda, but it was never delivered. The driver called me twice and then claimed he had waited for me. However, mv CCTV shows that nobody approached my front door, rang the doorbell or attempted to deliver the order
My husband also went outside one minute after the driver's first call and did not see the driver or any delivery vehicle
The most concerning part was the contradictory information. The driver wrote to me in the chat that he would return the order to Asda. but later Just Eat told me the order had been left in a safe place These two statements cannot both be true.
To their credit, Just Eat refunded my order acknowledged that the delivery failure was not my fault. However, I also lost a one-time promotional voucher because of this failed deliverv. Even though they accepted that I was not responsible, they refused to replace the voucher or offer any goodwill compensation.
I appreciate the refund, but the handling of the delivery, the conflicting explanations and the lack of any goodwill for a loval customer were very disappointing.

Absolutely useless system. If you want over-priced, cold food nearly all of the time, order from Just eat. Customer service appalling.

As a just eat partner, they are literally like thieves . Overcharge partners for using there promotion services and takes way too much money. Recently had issue regarding being overcharged on just eat invoice, and had this issue for over a month. Constantly calling them and opening support request. Yet each time they send me somewhere else. Or just come up with things saying I haven’t opened it with correct team etc. wouldn’t recommend partnering with them as business owner.

Would give it a 0. Have a customer services section which is clearly entirely ai slop. Went from one ai bot to another (or someone just using ai to copy and paste answers) which totally ignored anything I said. Totally miserable experience when their faulty app had totally messed up my order and sent it to a different address to the one I actually input initially. No customer service, no quality, why anyone lists with these is beyond me. Note that all of these many many many 1 star reviews, some of which aren’t justified as they’re actually the outlets fault, don’t have any follow ups. They don’t care about customers

So ordered food through just eat to my expectations they failed to provide the food that was ordered get in touch with them they say only to be told nope we're not giving you a refund for the food we did not deliver to you thats an absolute joke of a company do not use this place they will just rob you of your money

Awful awful awful! I ordered and got the wrong food delivered. Had proof and sent this to just eat and was refused a refund with no explanation. Don’t use this company please. They’re disgusting towards their customers.

I placed an order but it did not arrive, there was no help on the website and I was unable to speak to anyone, I submitted a request and recived an email stating the drivers gps showed order was delivered, I had to tell them I have a ring doorbell and can sent the the footage showing no one had been to my door Eventually they agreed to give me a refund but part Just Eat credit as part iof the order was paid with Just Eat credit, the only readin I had credit was because items were missing from a previous order. I do not want to order from them again but they are refusing to send full amount back to my bank. I had to place another order with Deliveroo so am now out of pocket abd am stuck with Just Eat credit I will not use

The order was delayed, and the fish and chips arrived completely squashed because they were delivered in a bag. It should have been packed in a proper box to keep the food in good condition. I sent it back with the courier because it was like mush and not acceptable. And is not possible to get refund. Good luck is last time order here

gave me out of date bread asked for proof and when i gave it denied a refund

Used once, and that is the last time. Delivered to the wrong address; for some reason, given a security code that no one seems to need. So someone is enjoying my food.

Spoke to customer service; they say it was delivered to my address. However, failed to provide proof.

STILL NO REFUND!

Subway delivered wrong order. Was phoning the shop for almost 2 hours without a response so gave up. Contacted Just Eat for a refund sent photos of what was delivered together with my correct receipt only to be told they could not give me a refund. Will never use Just Eat again, they have lost a regular customer .

Fast food I was ordering, but did I get fast food?, of course not....my food went on drive round town with other orders and when it finally arrived the food was stone cold, only thing warm were the drinks....
I won't use just eat ever again in any restaurant, I know that I won't be using them again.
They change the delivery expected time frequently whilst you are waiting for your order, this way they can always say that they delivered it in the delivery time, big con really.

Absolutely useless service from Just Eat.

I placed an order for lunch, but the estimated delivery time just kept getting pushed back over and over again. After waiting more than two hours, I eventually called the restaurant myself to find out what was happening. They explained that the food had been ready for collection, but drivers kept accepting the job and then cancelling it, leaving our food sitting there for over two hours getting cold.

We were relying on the delivery but we were left waiting for hours with no real updates and no food.

When I contacted Just Eat for a refund, they apologised, but a simple "sorry" isn't good enough after wasting over two hours of our day. No goodwill gesture, no attempt to put things right, just a refund for an order they completely failed to deliver. I had to waste more of my time contacting customer service just to get a refund.

An absolute failure by Just Eat, If drivers can repeatedly accept and then cancel orders, leaving food to go cold, Just Eat needs to take responsibility for the system they've created. When I called the restaurant they told me they constantly have to bin orders because of this. Such a waste of everybody's time and resources.

After this experience, I won't be using Just Eat again.

Closed my account because they are untrustworthy.
Refused to deliver missing items or even reimburse the price difference.

Ordered a McDonald's through just eat delivery time kept going up,when it finally arrived by motorcycle the drinks was all spilt the burgers was all squashed and the food was absolutely freezing cold I reported this to just eat who told me there's nothing they can do. justeat should never be allowed to deliver goods they are the worst ever and I will never use them again totally disgusted with you just eat.

Terrible customer service. I had an issue with a takeaway order and received NO support whatsoever. Just-eat are clearly biased toward the restaurant and there's no process in place to protect the user from paying for sub standard food!

Food never arrived on time. According to the restaurant, they couldn't access the security gate. I was at home, and at no time did my intercom ring. I then spoke with the owner and asked to cancel. 40 min later, the food arrived, it was cold, and I sent it back.
No refund. How is this my fault?

We were given the wrong order from the driver called the restaurant who advised contact just eat for a refund. I have requested refund of the missing items and just eat are refusing with no explanation. Absolutely ridiculous clear photo showing it didn’t match the order but no support whatsoever we should be refunded as it’s not what we ordered and not our fault we got the wrong order. Just eat sort yourselves out!!
