What a rip-off Just Eat off.
Ordered pizza which is great & offered free delivery for Sainsbury's with order over £5.
What they dont tell you the prices for Sainsbury's grocery are massively increased.

For example

1L Blackcurrant & Cherry Sparkling water £1.05 (direct from Sainsbury's website £0.95

Beer batter Cod fillets £8.30 (direct from Sainsbury's £6.50

So be careful as not sure if Just Eat or Sainsbury's or both hike up prices

Needs investigation.

Had to cancel my order as the app did not recognise my address and defaulted to the wrong house number. The order was cancelled within 6 minutes of ordering. I phoned the restaurant directly and paid for the order over the phone so no one lost out financially, however Just Eats have still taken the value of the order as it went over the 5 minutes grace period. They have refused a refund on these grounds, most expensive takeaway ever.

Wicked variety bucket from Beacon KFC arrived minus the wings and with very small chicken portions . Many messages later to just eats helpline returned no response except to say no help to be given

Order arrived missing key items and ingredients. When I asked for a partial
Refund I was refused despite sending all the photographic evidence. I won’t be using Just Eat again. They are corrupt.

I ordered off JustEat a while back and my burger arrived undercooked and cold and my chips were soggy and it was disgusting. Ever since that incident I have prevented myself from using JustEat again.

Every time i order though just eat orders turn up cold and incomplete.

It is impossible to get a resolution when you need a response from just eat about an order that has not been delivered in full. I ordered a food shop. Only two bags were delivered, I waited for the remaining two bags. They never arrived. The shop were aware and said they returned items to stock as no second courier arrived. Just eat said order was delivered.
There was no way to show the photo evidence of only 2 of 4 bags being delivered, no way to communicate with a person about the issues.
So I am without my shopping, and have no way to get a refund for the non received items.

Wrong food delivery sent. Just Eat not interested, use Uber were they will actually do something if there is a problem. Poor customer service, avoid.

The company is very eager to charge all sorts of fees but absolves itself entirely when things go wrong. Avoid using them and try to ring the partner restaurant directly instead of paying a premium just be cheated when mistakes happen at your own expense. In my case I've ordered a chopstix lunch to a remote industrial estate, especially mentioning packing cutlery. The order didn't have any utensils and I had to go and drive outside my break hours to the nearest shop just to be able to have my lunch. The restaurant took responsibility, but neither sides refunded any of the service charge or delivery charges. If I have to go out might as well pick up my own food...

One star as I had to give one to write this review don't use just eat its a disgusting company ordered and spent £30 just to be give 6 items and told I won't receive a refund for the other 12 items missing avoid at all cost

Ordered food via Just Eat website from a McDonald's restaurant the order arrive 2 and a half hours late the Filet Fish had turned stale as it was not warm the French fries had gone soft again due to delay plus hot chocolate was lukewarm and the Cornetto McFlurry had melted and become liquid absolutely terrible service restaurant wouldn't answer the phone either absolutely pathetic.

I am very disappointed with Just Eat. The service was poor, and the driver did not provide a good experience. I also believe I was charged more money than I should have been.

This is unacceptable. Customers should be charged the correct amount, and drivers should provide a professional and reliable service. I hope Just Eat investigates what happened and refunds any money that was taken incorrectly.

I ordered Chicken & Chips & Raspberry Lemonade from KFC in Dewsbury via Just Eat, the food arrived cold because the driver had several stops before me, stops in the opposite direction away from where I live, from the location of KFC in Dewsbury.
The chicken wasn't cooked, it was grey in parts and pink in other parts, stone cold and tasted tainted and off. The chips were also disgusting, stone cold and soggy and as with the chicken inedible.
The Raspberry Lemonade was putrid also, the raspberries were off, the ice was all but melted and the drinks spilled. this as with the Chicken and chips tasted tainted. Utterly disgusting. I claimed a refund and was given an account credit of £16 when the meal cost me £38. They refused to refund me back onto my debit card, to force me to shop with them again too. NOT happy. I feel scammed and ripped off. They couldn't care less about their customers, they are hard faced and hard nosed, their service is diabolical. I will not be giving Just Eat my business in future, they are unfit for purpose and should be closed down. Chicken served cold is a health risk, I am going to report them to the public health department. I think they need investigating very thoroughly. hey ave a bad attitude problem. They forget that customers pay their wages. No customers = no wages. They need to show customers a lot more respect than they do. AVOID.

This company is a joke. Food ordered and the courier made minimal attempt to find our house. One text (which i replied to), no call and in the App looked nowhere near my property. I replied explaining where we were but suddenly my order was showing as delivered! I contacted them immediately to chase my order or request a refund. Multiple contacts today via X and email - and I'm a liar! so no refund is due. Steer clear of this company.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR DELIVERY CODE TO THE DRIVER UNTIL YOU HAVE CHEVKED OR DECANTED YOUR DELIVERY AND ARE HAPPY.

Driver asks for code we give it to him
We then decant meals onto plates where there is NO CARVED MEAT ironic really.

We call the restaurant who apologised and instructed us to call just eat to resolve either redelivery or refund.

Just eat come back to us saying that the delivery was made completely fine as we had given the delivery code to the driver and there is nothing for them to do.

Advise to everyone is to not give your code to the driver until you have decanted or checked the delivery and are happy with it . Understandably this will .ean the driver will need to wait until you are happy to pass the code over but there is no other way to protect yourself apparently.

Advertised prices online as 50% off but noticed they had charged me full price. Refused to help on live chat & refund the over charged items. Clearly false advertising and stealing from customers.

Liars and scammers, they have been sending me emails that I have 50% discount voucher to use and whenever I try to claim it I get the following message

"To use this voucher, you need to be logged in to the account that received it. Please log in to an eligible account to try again."

Although I'm using the same account associated with the supposed offer but they don't add it to your account and they are not contactable.

These people are scammers and don't worth any respect.

Ordered today at 5:20pm food was clearly delayed but I did not mind this but called th restaurant at 7pm to chase and see if my order was coming. Was told it was but arrived 10 min later freezing 🥶. Have since had many emails trying to get a refund for my he food not dips as I can use but they have refused. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH JUST EAT GO DIRECT I GUESS. At least if it’s it’s slow and cold they acknowledge and apologise and replace or offer refund. JUST EAT DONT DO THIS THEY YOUR MONEY AND ULTIMATELY KEEP IT. No moral compass this is why they will fail. They have a brilliant business model but that’s not what makes the money
