My child is thriving. That is all I need.

A very unhappy Parent was supposed to watch my child Graduate on virtual live off YouTube...I feel like you didn't care enough to make sure it worked properly, you not carrying i missed my daughter graduation...Come to find out so did alot of other parents 😢 💔 😞 Shame on you

The school was always quick fixing computer system. The teachers stayed in contact with my son. The school has family care advisors that make sure he has what he needs. It's all a collaboration to make sure the student is taken care of through their education,, mentally, spiritually and physically. I'm continuously recommending OVCA to other parents.

My Granddaughter struggled in public schools due to the drama around with other girls so she wanted to even quit school that’s when I put her in your home school program and thank God she has excelled and is graduating early. Thank you Diana

I like the flexibility of hybrid learning in the home. It also provides a significant degree of protection from physical safety threats.

One thing that I would improve is having more teachers coordinating a longer class instruction time preferably free of just playing videos and asking questions as the main curriculum. I would like to see the live classes center more around screen sharing each students interactable lessons rather than using youtube instruction. This reduplication and redundant method is time consuming and distracting to the fundamental skills needed.

I love KYVA -K12 great home schooling program for all children even adults. Don’t walk run check out this program for your needs.

My child's experience was great. He enjoyed every moment, the teachers and principals were great at communicating. They reached out about late assignments state tests prom and etc. Which made me felt connected. Thank uou to the staff and administrators.

The best thing about k12 are the teachers! They are caring, engaged, communication with my son's homeroom teacher Mrs. Burkhart was amazing! Your child is not just another kid to them like in person school. I love that there are help sessions for students and also if the parent needs help on navigating something, too they can screen share and talk with them live and figure out what your having trouble with . The iep teachers are so sweet and caring. They want your kid to succeed. In public schools, they would just write the answers on the board and give them a grade yet they wouldn't know the stuff but pass the grade as they did for funding. But k12, they actually teach your child . I would highly recommend if your child needs more one on one. The school starts at 9am so it's later than in person. Your child can get their work done in the evening if they couldn't finish it during the day as they have live classes. The only down side we experienced were the computers being down. So make sure you have tech support number and your passwords always. They will have you clear your cache alot and restart. If they upgraded the tech area, this would be great all around. But the teachers really make it and it's all accredited so they will get a regular diploma and a graduation!

The teachers are all so caring and helpful. The classes are rigorous as well!

The caring staff made my experience worth having my daughter in K12. They have always went above and beyond to help especially after a terrible event happened.

OHVA is the BEST online learning platform out there! My 8th grader has thrived and grown with this school. Thank you for having competent, helpful and encouraging educators and counselors supporting my son, every step of his journey! We will be continuing with OHVA for his high school years as well!

the teachers are great, but as someone who goes to this school, its overwhelming and very very tiring. I don't think I would recommend this as a first time home school website, and on top of that they use AI for everything which puts me off even more. so no, I wouldn't choose this as a first time home school, so if your kid has been in different homeschool's for a while, then I would suggest putting them in this school.

K12 has been for my two kids for great curriculum, great faculty, dedicated teachers all the while being with in the safety of their home. All that you needed is provided the learning environment is flexible but should not be taken for granted. Everyone is responsive and makes sure if they don’t have the information/resources you need, they will make sure you get it!

It's a great service, but so many issues

I appreciate the teacher support, this year was a bit rocky with the shift to a new interface product with CANVAS. It is going well though and we enjoy K12.

The school is great! The teachers are okay! I wish it stood by what it advertised on television, our children being able to educate themselves in their own time but instead they are having to be there in front of the computer by specific times just like they do in person school. There's no such thing as afternoon classes or anything like that everything's done at the crack of dawn literally the school is an hour ahead so my child has to be in class at 7:30 in the morning which means I have to get her up even earlier just to get her head right to get into class.

I am very happy with the curriculum, materials and the highly skilled teachers that OHVA has provided my students with for the past five years.
