It makes a review really easy when the product is superb. However, when your guide, Caroline, is a wonderful gem, it makes the visit that much better!

Nous avons passé un bon moment à deux avec un “driver” qui est reparti avec son pack safe driver de dégustation puisqu’en Ecosse c’est tolérance zéro pour l’alcool au volant ! La présentation était très vivante nous avons appris comment la maison est née et avons beaucoup apprécié les différents types de gin testés !

Had a fabulous time at a gin tasting session hosted by Caroline. Friendly, knowledgeable and very entertaining! A variety of gins, all with distinctive flavours and the suggested mixer pairings made a huge difference. If ever in the area and looking for gin tasting this is the place!
The shop is well stocked for purchasing gins and a few other local goods as gifts or yourself, everyone was so helpful and welcoming.

What a lovely afternoon at the Distillery.

We booked on one of their tasting sessions and turned up to a very warm welcome.

Now, I was driving (late change of plans) so there was a chat at the start where the drivers were told… no tasting… now this is 100% the right decision and fully expected.

My wife participated and she really enjoyed the gins. All the gins were significantly different, which made the session interesting… also really good to sample tonics with the gins.

Had the lovely, fun Caroline doing the session… along with Lorna in the shop. Both very friendly and fun… great ambassadors for the brand.

They were that good… we bought lots of gin!! As driver you also get a smaller bottle to take home free of charge.

We will be back (and won’t have the car next time!)

The visit was the best we had done. Guide Trish? Was superb and very informative and a very interesting history of the Kinrara Distillery. Could not fault it even the drivers thoroughly enjoyed it without the gin!
Excellent gin distillery would highly recommend it to others.

It was a great tasting experience. Enjoyed getting to taste the entire line up and a few extras. It was fun to try the gins with different tonics and experience the difference. The host was knowledgeable and engaging.

Trish was an incredible host of the fun tasting experience. We had a warm welcome from the moment we walked in. I would highly recommend booking this, and getting dropped off and picked up to take part. Delicious gin great advice and info on mixers!

Order was delivered quickly only thing I would ask was a bit more information on when product was dispatch and/or expected delivery date. Other than that, very happy with order, thanks Kinrara

My Daughters and Grandaughter s love and I always take one if invited to them

This was my second gin tasting session at the Kinrara Distillery, the first being in August 2024. My friend and I were the only attendees at this tasting and Trish made it a superb enjoyable experience with much laughter and many opportunities to sample the delicious gin, with some bonus extra tasters thrown in.
Looking forward to my next tasting session next year!

Great tasting experience! Caroline was lovely and guided us through their excellent gin selection with a lot of knowledge and good humor. We could see how much dedication and love is put into the distillery and the gin. Looking forward to visiting them again.

We had a fantastic time at our tasting session - Trish was very welcoming and entertaining and the gins themselves were delicious. Great fun all round.
A special mention to Lorna for kindly dropping off all our purchases at our accommodation as we were walking (you can do it on foot in less than half an hour from Aviemore which is a bonus).

Tasting run by Caroline, such a beautiful session with a good selection of gins. Really enjoyed trying different tonics too.

It was a really good experience. Staff very friendly and informative. Only dissapointing thing is that when you visit a whisky distillary the driver gets their samples to take away in small bottles.
I thought the lady had said that I would get a small miniature to take away and I presumed she had put it in the bag containing my purchase but I was obviously mistaken .

We had a wonderful tasting at the Kinrara distillery. Even though I was the driver it was absolutely worth comming. As a German I might not have the vocabulary to give enough credit to what a great experience it was to hear about the distillery´s story and how the gin is produced. It was nothing rehearsed but told with such enthusiasm that one could see how much pride the employees have for their product. As complete gin newbies we were given a lot of tips on how to vary our gin in order to explore our own taste.
The driver could pick a 5 mL bottle of gin as well as a tonic water to take home. We also bought the two gins we liked best, with the lovely painted bottles.
We can highly recommend the tasting at the Kinrara distillery and will definitely come back once we visit Scotland again.
