Sooo glad we did this stop on our way north!! Trish was the best guide through the different gins of Kinrara!

Small very fun tasting experience. Caroline was personable and told us all about the beautiful fruits and herbs used in the gin production.

One of the highlights of our visit to the Inverness area. The gins are interesting and the bottles are a beautiful way to showcase the product. Trish was an amazing and really fun teacher - we learned so much about the different taste profiles of various botanicals and how different tonics impact the flavors. We had an amazing time. I was there with my sister in law three nieces and a great niece. Our guide was so Vivacious and so well informed she made the whole experience very successful and enjoyable. I can thoroughly recommend this as a splendid Gin tasting experience

The tasting was very informative and it was cool to try each of the gins, initially sipping neat and then with a range of mixers. It was the chat and the laughs that really made the experience though - Trish is a gem of a host!

We love highland whisky and have visited many distilleries. We also love gin and viewed their beautiful artisan bottles in the local shops. We booked a tasting at the Kinrara Distillery. The tasting was amazing, thanks to our very knowledgeable host, Caroline. The gins here are hand crafted on premises. These gins are very distinct and unique. My wife and I both agree that these gins are seriously the best we have ever had anywhere. We stocked up and will definitely be back for more when we return to Aviemore next year. We highly recommend a visit and a tasting at Kinara! You will be amazed at this special little distillery.

Caroline absolutely made our gin tasting experience. What she didnt know about the gin and appropriate pairings wasn't worth knowing. The gin was incredible and the experience was very enjoyable. The shopping was amazing as well. Great afternoon out. Would highly recommend.

I've never done a gin tasting before, so it was very ingesting to learn how it's made. The Kinwara labels are beautiful, and it was fun to see how the various flavoring botanicals are included into the images on the labels.

It was easy to order and pay and the item was delivered quickly.
It was a gift so I haven’t actually seen it but the recipient was very happy with it.
My only issue is that after being told my order had been received I heard nothing as to whether it had been delivered or whether the requested message had been included to inform them of sender. As the option to have it sent to someone other than buyer is available, it would be handy to have a box in which to write an exact message and not just for notes. Perhaps I missed tracking somewhere but, if not, a little bit more communication would be great.
Otherwise it would be 5 star.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. A special mention must go to Caroline, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our visit. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the distillery and its products. Caroline made the experience both informative and enjoyable, taking the time to answer questions and share the story behind the gins in an engaging and approachable way.

The distillery itself is set in beautiful surroundings. The tasting was a real highlight, with a fantastic selection of gins, each with its own distinctive character and flavour.

What stood out most was the genuine hospitality we received. Caroline's enthusiasm and attention to detail made the visit feel personal and memorable, and she is a real credit to Kinrara Distillery.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. We will definitely be recommending Kinrara Distillery to friends and family and look forward to returning in the future.

The location is great with lovely views of the Cairngorms!
We were taken through our tasting experience by Trish who was absolutely amazing! Unlike other gin tasting experiences I found this one to be comfortable and Trish helped set us at ease (with plenty of good measure and fantastic tales). I learnt lots about Kinrara Gin and was converted to even drinking my Gin with Tonic! I’ve even taken a bottle back down to Edinburgh with me!
Would highly recommend this experience and a big shout out to Trish and Lorna for being brilliant hosts!

What a fantastic tasting experience in this award winning distillery. It is a wonderful little distillery just off the A9 just south of Aviemore. Point of note it is quite easy to miss the left turn into the distillery itself due to a tight curve and high hedge. I would recommend getting a lift or taxi so you can fully enjoy the full range of Kinrara Gins.
Once inside we were introduced to Caroline who was a very knowledgeable and hilarious guide to our tasting journey. Having personal experience of many of the Kinrara Gins I was very interested in the suggested mixer with each individual gin.
I was surprised at the widely differing taste of the gins from each bottle and enjoyed trying different mixtures to bring out the flavours. However I remain boring with the Mediterranean tonic still outshining all others.
The hour passed very quickly with an overview of the origins of Kinrara,the family atmosphere within the business and the stills and distillation process. Definitely a highlight of our week in Cairngorm.
Then our lift arrived so after purchasing a couple of bottles in the shop we headed home. Thoroughly recommended.

Lorna was a marvellous host. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at Kinrara, with good chat, excellent gin and a few surprises mixers. Would definitely recommend!
