Great tasting experience- Lorna was so knowledgeable and the gins were delicious! Would definitely recommend

The tasting experience itself was excellent, Lorna was so knowledgeable and engaging.

Visited the Kinrara distillery yesterday with a group of friends. We had the most amazing afternoon, the gin experience was terrific, and the ladies Lorna & Britney made it such a lovely experience for us all. Lorna’s knowledge was amazing and we loved that she liked to experiment with different flavours and clearly has a love and passion for the Kinrara Gin. The venue its self is beautifully decorated, had a great vibe and their shop gift shop was a massive hit with us. The views from the distillery were also beautiful. Would 100% recommend this experience. Thanks again Lorna and Britney for a lovely experience we will definitely be back.

We recently attended Kinrara for gin tasting. From start to finish the experience was brilliant and thoroughly enjoyable. Lorna and Britney were knowledgable and the gin was delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

Myself and my daughter visited Kinrara gin distillery on October 28 2024, after making an online reservation, during our 8-day road trip all over Scotland. We love gin and wanted to taste a gin not found in Athens, Greece where we leave.
Our tasting experience was vey exciting, pleasant and unique thanks to Lorna. Lorna made us learn a great deal on gin and offered us to taste many Kinrara gin products.
In Kinrara gin distillery, we discovered the wealth of gin world by tasting their various gin products which we think are of excellent quality.
In addition, we admired how Kinrara gin distillery was created not many years ago in an old farm house and now is a very efficient and excellent gin distillery continuously creating new products.
We hope that Kinrara gin distillery makes it to export its products so that we can buy them in Greece.

We went for a tasting and the staff were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a good laugh. They made us feel at ease and made the whole experience memorable. We weren’t rushed and the whole tasting experience was fantastic. Totally recommend going here especially if you like Gin. Lorna suggested different mixers with the different types of Gin if we wanted to try them. Definitely recommend trying what she suggests as the taste of the Gin seems to come alive more. We will definitely be back to try more and to sit in their beautiful courtyard enjoying the views of the Cairngorms. Thank you

Brilliant tasting session hosted by Trish. A lot of fun with a lovely group of people in the wonderfully cosy tasting room at Kinrara distillery. Obviously it helps that the gin is extremely high quality and it was super interesting to experiment with different mixers and botanicals and taste the different flavours these opened up in the gins. I would definitely do another tasting here - a great shout if you’ve got friends/family visiting the area who want to experience a truly local product.

Wow! 10/10 Highly recommend! We had the best time at our gin tasting session (even converted my husband) was kindly squeezed in to the session by Lorna the manager! And Trish was an absolutely amazing host at the gin tasting session. A highlight of our honeymoon thank you so much

Popped in today while my daughter was on a hack. When I arrived - shortly after opening I was the only visitor and was made to feel very welcome, the lady managing the distillery was really friendly took time to explain all the gins and history of Kinrara - and then repeated it all to the rest of the family when they joined me. My Mum and daughter the only non drivers were offered and able to enjoy a tasting. All the products in the shop were high quality, tasteful and reasonably priced and so nice they are only available on site. We would definitely come again and recommend a visit, maybe next time we can take a tour.

Nice Gin flavours, lovely insights in production.

The team at Kinrara provided an excellent, very intimate gin experience in their first-class visitor centre. The ladies were not only very informant, but also cheery and very helpful - obviously adding to the pleasure of the group and our very memorable afternoon. We will be back!

This was by far the best tasting experience I have had at any distillery. The ethos of Kinrarra gin shines and is so apparent in the way they present and offer their tasting. It is refreshing in today’s age of mass production and commercialism to see a product sourced so purely and directly,
delivered with a quaint homey feel. The setting in the Cairngorms is lovely. The tasting room and shop itself are beautifully appointed. And the gin (my personal favorite the Caper) was the best I’ve ever had. I so enjoyed Lorna’s company and appreciate her knowledge of the gins and their appropriate pairings and for all around being a wonderful warm and insightful host. Thank you Lorna for a delightful and delicious visit (and for area recommends) and for sharing your exceptional gin, exquisite land and kind fellowship. I hope to return soon.

Very welcoming and informative gin tasting. Ladies who run this place know their stuff and the gin is amazing. Love the artwork on the Bottles and stunning views from distillery.

The tasting session at Kinrara was really enjoyable,nice mix of history of company, flavour profiles, tastings and the host Lorna brought in local stories and knowledge. One of us was tasting and the other was driving but felt included overall.

What an amazing place! I brought my friend here for the tasting session. She had travelled from Australia and was blown away by the experience.
