Amazing service

It was very reassuring to speak to a human right from the onset, he listened to my problems sympathetically and pointed me in the right direction.
The Solicitor who called was very professional however my problems sympathetically could not be resolved in my favour.

The things we wr re told by your legal person, wr,re more or less what we already knew.not much help at all. My eife and i,wr,re both born in Herefordshire ,worked all our working lives.and your people did not exactly put themselves out help at all, If we wr,re imagrants i would think you would go out of your way yo help is then. It seems that British people are second rate citizens.Thanks for nothing Sugest you try to improve your service

A helpful caller but I honestly didn’t learn anything new.

Simplistic and useless. They are unable to deal or advise on cases that are serious. Their online advice on how to deal with a freeholder that has caused extreme levels of damage and exposed a leaseholder to serious hazard is extraordinarily minimal and inadequate. Their written advice, for which I waited two months, was also shockigly useless. It just looks that they cannot be bothered to address this very serious issue. Even they misrepresented the leasehold reforms

Basically yes was given some professional advice, however I was after actually after RTM Handover standard documentation.
I’ve since found online with The Property Institute with Stages 1,2,3, and internet search

The information was very clear & precise.

Despite positive reviews, my experience with the Leaehold Advisory Service has been rather mixed. I had a telephone call with them which was very helpful. I followed that up with more details, as requested but received a reply that did not address the specific question, in addition, the reply went off at a strange tangent that bore no relevance whatsoever to my query. I wrote again, and received an email chastising me for exceeding the 500 character limit (my word count, however, reveals the entire text of my message to contain only 48). In summary, far less help than a free half hour consultation with solicitor. I have found the Leasehold Avisory Service avoident and not actually giving very much in the way of advice which is a great shame as there is a societal need for the service.

Excellent and sound advice and suggestions. Really a 5 star service! I was impressed how my query was handled and resolved. I highly recommend using the service.
