Terrible app to use for selling products. Complete waste of your time...Stay away!! Lot of issues around personal information safety. User verification is nothing but a joke. I keep getting text messages and fake promises for coming, asking for home address and people then never respond. I'd recommend FB Marketplace and Offer up instead. Letgo need to enhance their security protocol for people who are genuinely trying to sell and their personal safety, your privacy policies and procedures are not helpful.

Terrible experience!!! I got scammed for $175.00 on Letgo and all of the proof was there and Letgo did nothing for me. They had his profile, phone number, account verified, and he took my money!!!! Last time I will ever use it recommend ever!!!

My problem is not with the Letgo site. It's with people that claim to want to sell something but don't bother responding to potential buyers. If you post something for sale buyers shouldn't be begging you to respond!!
If a seller goes multiple days without responding to a buyers inquiries they should be automatically dropped from anything they wish to sell. Why post something for sale if you want even check to see if someone's wanting to buy. Stop wasting people's time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Used to be An ok website. Yes the annoying ask about and never respond people, or the ridiculously lowball people, or the rude, or the uncommunicative people and on and on, existed on the old version of app. And I do agree that it would be nice to rate the buyers so sellers clearly know what they are getting into... BUT my big issue now, is that all the hard work of listing items over the period of months if now down the trash! I’m not going to pay to list my items, that’s ridiculous! They are already lowered to a good selling price and have to deal with “ negotiating” lower prices just so the customer can feel like they won. Why would I pay let go as well?!?! If they do not change their policy back or different I’m not going to bother posting anything else

Used to be good, now crappy , cant find anything, full of bs, slowing the phone, filling my ram 65% by background fishing, f... This, offerup 1000% better, buying and selling weekly , letgo??? Just let it really go away.

I'm not really sure why so many bad reviews. You need patience to do any type of sales. My biggest complaint is that spellcheck doesn't capitalize letters at the beginning of sentences. I sell plenty of items on Letgo with no hassle at all. People will always do annoying things like message if something is available and then you never hear from them again. I get that a lot. You can't avoid it. I was contacted by a few creeps and Letgo caught a few right off from the start. They're quick on security help by suggesting you not give out your number and meet in a safe place. Overall its very easy to post items to sell. I'm here way more than Craigslist or Marketplace.

Been on this site buying and selling for 3 or so years then my account was suspended for no apparent reason I tried contacting the customer service why they did it and gave me the run around ,I would not recommend anyone to join this site ,Join Offer up ,Craigslist or marketplace its much better

Will only show listings from Columbus, Ohio! I'm from Maine, I change the location every time i try top use the app, but it still only shows ohio!

I sold a couple of things and bought a couch through letgo. Only sell to people that have a verified profile or some reviews.

Complete waste of time. Have listed five items at ridiculously low prices and have yet to sell anything. Craigslist is far better, even with its faults.

The app is so full of advertising that it’s almost impossible to browse for something in your category. Also the geographical area that it brings up is not within the range That I entered so it brings up loads of listings that are far away. Also the listings are not sorted by town so you could potentially end up scrolling through 1000 entries.

This site is worse than Craigslist. Full of scamners, people who ghost sellers after asking if item is still available, lowballing & then want free deliveries when you posted no deliveries. Letgo does not tutor users on how to use or read the entire listing before responding. Or removes your listing because they say it was a "duplicate", but if they had read the listing the ring size was different and stones were different and a different shape, though close in color. Even had brand new hair bands removed as a violation. When I complained they said I don't have an account. No account? Then how am I getting Letgo notices in my private email account. No oversight when lowballers or bullying, harassing buyers start cursing abusive language at you.

Letgo discrepancies

I have 7 apps that I buy & sell from & this is THE ONLY ONE that gives me problems posting certain items. It does not fall under the category of being restricted so it is very disturbing. However there are woman in here practically naked selling their provocative outfits (98% naked) & my kids have pointed it out but they don't get flagged. I will report this to corporate in order to have this a safe family site. If they will let these sexual pictures on, then there should be an older age limit plus be able to block for the Christians like me that don't appreciate these perversions.
This company needs to do something about it.

Letgo promise of Trust and Safe is not real. Scammers use this platform to prey on unsuspected customers and Letgo won't even help to resolve or has and layer of protection for users. Scammers pretend as locals and fool customers easily.

Not a good site if you wanna be a lazy buyer or seller, or if you want customer service. I try to troll the scammers I come across and report them but it doesn't matter because the owners of the site clearly don't care.

Buyer was a thief. He called me at a place and snatched two iphones from me. We shud let go this site or they shud increase their safety and security guidelines.

I give 3 stars as the platform is promising since it is a legitimate version of the good old Craigslist. However, I have 3 stars as there are a lot of scammers using the pandemic time to post items that do not exist. The other thing I did not understand is the sale of paintball guns on this platform. They have strange guidelines on what can claim to be considered a paintball gun and not. Apparently magazine fed paintball guns vs hopper loaded paintball guns is a no no on their site rules. They claimed that anything that resembles a real firearm cannot be sold on their site. Fair enough but you have paintball guns that are being sold on your app with tactical attachments and looks like an AR15... but my ray gun looking magazine fed paintball gun is now allowed? Strange rules and customer service is a joke just repeating the same reply over and over without understanding the difference between a real gun and a paintball gun.

No feedback about buyers who mislead sellers...resulting in losing sales.

This website is straight garbage, everyone on this website can all end up in the hospital for all I care. This website is a perfect example of human nature, everyone that uses this app are all homeless broke insects who will take your money and not deliver. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
