If I could give zero stars I would. All of my listings are being discarded with no reason given.

I am trying to sell a piece of furniture. I've had 2 offers...great...EXCEPT, my return messages will not send. I have contacted Letgo ...and they will get back with me in 24 hours.
Yes, I googled the problem but found NO solution.
I have sent and re-sent nine messages hoping that 1 would make it through. The Chat still shows no correspondence and a message as simple as "yes, it is still available" has been "sending" for 10 minutes???!!!
Yes, I started and restarted the computer in case there was a problem.
I searched the Apple App Store and the app did NOT show up?!

1. The app often will not let you delete items. So you post an item but want to change the ad even if you delete it the ad still shows up.
2. The app often flips your location confusing buyers.
3. Poor communication with users. If you try to contact customer service, good luck getting a reply.
4. Blocks or delets user accounts without even discussing the claim with the user.
5. Allows sellers to be harassed by other users without giving the seller and opportunity to discuss the concern which allows people to harass sellers with no merit.
6. Too many boredom shopping spam messaging people to trying to hustle hoping to get stuff for free or next to nothing.
7. Would not invest too much effort building a profile or reputation through review because without notice or discussion they will delete your account with no explanation or feedback.
8. Best case if they do respond it will be a generic meaningless spam response not worth the wait.
9. Very poor respect for seller privacy. Be very careful when posting even if you ask to list location in terms of general area, it often still lists under you exact home address. Great way to risk you home getting broken in to depending on what you are posting.
Disappointing experience.

I have used LetGo for about 2 years without any issues. In my area people are listing RV, garden tractors, skid steers, and vehicles at 10% of the value. I also personally love the ads where someone is driving down the road with brand new items that fell off a truck.
I started flagging these ads and even sent an email to LetGo. For my effort, my user name is now blocked from flagging and contacting sellers.
LetGo needs the listed items regardless of the legitimacy so that advertisers will pay them. That’s how they make money. Doesn’t matter if it’s a scam, or stolen property.
Remember: if it’s too good to be true!

Impossible to contact sellers. Every time I try I get an “error” message. Even when I try to send one of Letgo’s own canned inquiries. Waste of time

Sure there are scammers and bots, but the same could be said for pretty much ANY site where people try to sell stuff. As long as you take proper precautions, meet in public places, and check the product your buying before you give the cash, you should have no problem. I have bought and sold gaming PCs, computer parts, snowboarding equipment and other goods, and have never once ran into a problem. There will be times where people will seem interested and then not reply, but if something like that is enough to make you think Letgo is bad, I suggest you try going to a pawn shop to sell your goods. It's not Letgo's fault people flake out.

Letgo is okay. Users think they’re selling gold. They’re prices are totally insane. Especially gym equipment. Omg!!!!!

I have been trying to get a car.
1st car owner tried to scam me out of $1000. Falsely selling car thru ebay auto. Sent me invoice and wanted me to purchase car with eBay cash cards. eBay said it was a scam.
2nd car owner made arrangements with me then raised the price and will not speak to me now.
3rd and 4th car owners won't return messages so I can see cars that are for sale.

THIS APP IS REALLY BAD, I HATE DISHONEST PEOPLE.

Tried to feature an ad, it was refused, got billed and was told “sorry no refunds”. Wow scam site. Had to go direct to Apple. DO NOT SPEND $ WITH LETGO.

Really bad website, I get people who say they are interested then they don't reply. This app is really bad. Alot of scammers on it which I don't like.

not only are people trying to scam you all the time, the company will restrict your account if you are trying to sell an item!! Joke of a website, craigslist 10x better.

Worst App and selling platform by far!!! My account became under review within 12 days of using Letgo and before then about 7 of the 12 days my messages would not go through 🤬. I'm not sure what is going on with Letgo. Worse online experience ever!!!!!!!

Tried posting an ad for my car to sell ,letgo have removed it .Bad app.No particular reason of compliance.Posted the pic, the price and all as asked for and yet they rejected to post 3 times. and now it says it can't post on the cars classified.So mad and a bad app.Guess no one takes a note ,If they did ,they would reach out to say correct this or that.

Full of bots and low-ballers. I am super disappointed in Letgo. 90% of inquiries are bots or scammers. The other 10% want things for basically free.

I’ve been with Let Go since they launched their App. Yesterday I’m told that my account is under review. Today I get a message that my account has been canceled. I’m giving them 24 hours to show me why before I contact my Attorney. I’m sure I’m not the only one that has experienced this from Let Go. One thing for sure I WILL get to the bottom of this!

I too would give this app 0 stars if I could. It is horrible for so many, many reasons. I just got robbed the other day trying to buy an iPhone 10 XR for my husband. I negotiated a price on it and met up with the guy in broad daylight at an apartment complex. He sat in my car and handed me the phone box as I handed him the money. I open the box and notice right away that the phone, although it looked brand new, was not an iPhone 10 XR at all, but an iPhone 7 with 32 Gigs of space! That is the same exact phone we were trying to upgrade from! The guy suddenly jumped out of my car and took off running with my money with me trying to chase after him screaming "HEY!! I DON'T WANT THIS PHONE!!" I tried to contact him and he had immediately blocked me. I called the police and filed a report. I'm sure the local police departments have better things to do than deal with letgo scammers because the platform does absolutely nothing to ensure buyer safety or deter scams. This app is just infested with them! People should have to scan their id's and verify their accounts with their current mobile phone number, that should be verified every time they use the app. There are plenty of apps out there that use this as a safety measure. Letgo should have to assume some kind of accountability for people who get scammed using this site, if they were forced to, they would change a lot of things about the platform to make it safer for people to use. Although it might cost a little bit more money, you are always certainly much safer using eBay. At least you know you have buyer protection and recourse should something go wrong with your purchase. Using letgo, you are just SOL. It's a shame, really.

Letgo has a bunch of scumbag people tricking other people into giving out there adress and then don't even plan on buying nothing just get people's adresses to set them up this app is garbage I warn people don't waste your time

There are many, many scams in letgo, they do not take care of complaints, I am willing to go to the police with all the evidence I have and initiate a serious investigation I am inclined to think letgo is part of the different scams that proliferate in letgo, the do offer the very same PREPINTED apology to all complaints and make it very difficult to contact them which is to not avail , they won't solve no problem nor resolve any issue

There are alot of scammers, so you have to act careful on your own. They cannot really help you if you get scammed because they are the platform, not the store. You meet alot of cheap people and scummy people, but If you don't want to sell on ebay and pay fees, this would probably be one of your best choices. THINK SMART WHEN BUYING OR SELLING!

What a waste of time and effort. Thought it would be better with time after trying it when it first launched - WRONG! First person never showed, other people interested and contacted when first person didn't show. Guess what?! They didn't show either. Honestly I set the expectations bar very low this time around. I have better luck with CL.
