We recently moved into our new home at Bincombe Park in Weymouth, and our experience with the team at Lovell’s Sales Office has been excellent from start to finish.
Everyone we dealt with — from the sales executives to the site managers — was professional, approachable, and incredibly reassuring throughout the process. As first-time buyers, this made a huge difference and helped keep everything smooth and stress-free.
Belinda and Barbara, the Sales Executives, provided excellent communication and support from day one. We always felt listened to, well looked after, and supported even after completion.
The whole team genuinely cares about what they do, and their compassion and dedication really stood out — especially Belinda!

After numerous problems with our new build house in Cwmbran, we find ourselves in yet another situation with Lovells. We claimed through NHBC for a damp problem in an external wall. The problem is that the MgO boards have failed causing internal damage. Eighteen stressful months later our claim got accepted. The work required to replace the failed MgO board has been offered to Lovells, which NHBC has said they’ve accepted. Apart from a visit in March when they removed bricks in various places in the wall in question, we’ve heard nothing since. NHBC have said Lowell’s are not answering their calls or emails. We have also tried to make contact.
This is unacceptable treatment and poor customer service from Lovells.

I feel compelled to leave an honest review for anyone considering moving here, because the reality is very different from what was presented during the buying process.
The development itself was marketed well, but the surrounding area is extremely disappointing. It is consistently noisy, day and night, largely due to a playground positioned right in the middle of the buildings. This space attracts groups of people from early morning until late at night, often involving loud music, shouting, and anti-social behaviour. There have also been ongoing incidents of fights in and around the area, which makes it feel unsafe and far from suitable for anyone looking for a peaceful environment.
On a personal level, the situation has been even more concerning. While simply trying to sit on our balcony and have a coffee, my partner and I have been subjected to verbal abuse, including racist comments directed at my partner who is East Asian. There have also been instances of threatening behaviour, including gestures such as being flipped off and individuals making gang-related signs. This is not something anyone should have to deal with in their own home. Despite repeated reports to both the police and council, the situation remains unresolved, so prospective residents should carefully consider whether this environment is suitable for them.
We were among the first to move into the building, and unfortunately, our experience with the developer and management since then has been equally frustrating. After completion, there has been little to no genuine interest in resolving issues. In fact, several changes and “fixes” carried out over time have actually made things worse rather than better.
We encountered problems within the first three months of living here, which raises serious concerns about build quality and what may happen once the warranty period expires.
A particularly frustrating pattern is how issues are handled: when someone comes to inspect a problem in person, they often acknowledge that work is needed. However, once they return to the office, the response changes completely. This is usually followed by lengthy emails dismissing the issue or avoiding responsibility, which feels both unprofessional and dismissive.
Overall, the lack of accountability, poor customer service, and ongoing environmental and safety concerns make this a very difficult place to live.
What is shown in the marketing materials is not the reality once you move here. If you are seriously considering this development, I would strongly recommend speaking to current residents first. I am willing to provide further context, including video evidence, to anyone who wants a clearer understanding of the day-to-day situation.
If you value peace, safety, and a professional living environment, I would strongly advise reconsidering before moving here. I gave 1 star because 0 is not an option.
We have recently purchased a new Lovell home, and the whole experience was easy. This was in part due to the help and kindness of jaqueline mcphee the Lovell representative. She was down to earth, informative and easy to deal with. Always at the end of an email with prompt responses to any queries we had.
The build quality is high with only minor snags. The follow up at 7 and 28 days are very helpful but did need a wee bit of prompting. Again jackie to the rescue she is the lady that gets things done. The site manager is easy to deal with and very obliging.
All in all an a very easy company to deal with. They make what is a stressful process as easy as it can be. We would definitely recommend.
We’ve recently reserved a plot in Morpeth with Bella. The whole process has been really great. Bella has been super helpful and explained all our options and the process really well.
We travelled to Hull to view the show house and were really impressed with the floorplan and scale of the rooms. The fixtures and fittings are also of great quality.
Really looking forward to moving in now… hopefully the builders will be as good as the experience we’ve had so far and build it quickly for us 😀

We had such a positive experience with Jacqueline at Central Square that we felt it was important to share. From our very first enquiry about reserving a property, she was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and informative. When we returned the following week to proceed with our reservation, her support remained just as consistent and reassuring.
As a couple purchasing a new build home together for the first time, we naturally had a lot of questions, but Jacqueline was always approachable and patient. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble for her, and she took the time to explain everything clearly, which made the whole process feel far less daunting.
Her outstanding customer service genuinely played a vital role in our decision to choose Lovell Homes. Compared to other developers we visited, the level of care, friendliness, and professionalism she showed really stood out - other sales experiences simply didn’t come close.
So far, the journey has been smooth and positive, and that is largely thanks to Jacqueline’s continued support. We’re very grateful for everything she’s done to help us take this exciting step. We look forward to continuing this journey with Jacqueline helping us.
Wendy the sales representative was very helpful and knowledgeable. Even though she was really busy with other customers she gave us the time and support we needed to make our decision.
When we returned to complete the reservation form a few days later with Jo, she was very knowledgeable and thorough.
