Digital Micrometer and dial caliper purchase
I was looking for a dial caliper and a digital micrometer, after looking on line these were the best value devices.
The delivery was prompt, on time and well packaged.
Both the dial caliper and the micrometer met all my expectations and I am very pleased with them both.
The service provided by Machine-DRO was great.

Excellent customer support
Having just bought an ex display DRO from the company on eBay, I asked separately for a PDF copy of the DRO’s instruction manual. This was supplied very rapidly to me - a sign of excellent customer support!

So far so good
All parts there on arrival. Comprehensive fitting instructions and DRO manual and both in good English not pidgin Chinese. Fitting in hand, waiting for fresh taps, not a good time for breakages but looks like there'll no issues.

Speedy response
Speedy response and the new version of the display worked staight away. However it is far more complicated to set up than the unit it replaced. There are quite a few settings that have to be inputed to configure for lathe use.

Excellent customer service
I bought a linear scale some time ago and lost a small button which made the scale unserviceable.
I emailed Machine-Dro and was amazed to receive a prompt reply and the news news that the part was available at reasonable cost.
This was much appreciated and credit to Machine-Dro as a company.
Highly reccomended!

Easily the worst experience possible
Easily the worst experience possible - it's inaccurate, there is no technical support & the manual tells you to press buttons on the unit that aren't there.
Accuracy is supposed to 5 microns - I'm lucky to get to with 100, the tool store setup is impossible to follow from the manual, & it randomly changes the base tool. I have spent so long trying to get this to work well, but now have given up - I just haven't got the time to spend on it, calls to them are never returned. Just don't buy one - mine is fitted to a Myford Super 7 that is spot on from the dials, the DRO never gets near.

Contacted them for advice on what DRO to purchace on friday. No technical assistance available. Still waiting for a reply tuesday night. Not good customer service. Seriously considering whether it's worth the risk of purchasing from this company.
