ordered an aircon unit online as they were one of the few places left with any stock, although it was expensive for what it was. i ordered and paid on Monday with delivery within 3 working days. Email arrived on Wednesday saying they had no more stock and would refund my money, not sure how a stock system for a major company allows you to take orders without the stock to fulfil them. Poor show from machine mart

My experienced was mixed, I could have easily put 1 star but could easily of put 5 stars so 3 is probably fair.
I ordered a wheel barrow and when it arrived you could tell it was a return product by looking at the condition of the box upon further inspection I opened the box to wheel barrow but the inside of the wheel barrow to be damaged scratched down to metal increasing rusting rate and for the fittings kit to be missing so even if the wheel barrow was in good condition I wouldn’t be able to build it. I phoned customer services up straight away and I emailed pictures over and they accepted that I the pictures did indicate the damaged wasn’t good and agreed to sort the issue, they contacted my local store and luckily enough they had the exact wheel barrow built up in store so I went the exchanged it probably in store for 20mins as they have to go through a unique web returns process what they don’t do very often but everything was explained properly and I got what I wanted the same day

I checked stock before I ordered and stock was confirmed. Two days after ordering the order was cancelled due to lack of stock at warehouse.

I ordered this tap and die set as my current set only goes up to M8. I needed to cut 1 M10 thread on a length of M10 bright bar. Hopeless, die teeth have no taper cut in and impossible to start. I ground a generous taper on the bar to help start as the die is not split. No go. Useless. Don't know what the rest of the set is like probably never come back out the back of the cupboard it current resides in! Had to get the thread lathe cut which is what I should have done at the start but didn't have quick access to a lathe.

We ordered online , money was paid , order was approved , delivery date was given 2nd July , then when we didn’t receive order we called , customer service replied that we don’t have stock , we have cancelled the order and refunded the money , no intimation nothing only when we called came to know , not wxpected this from machine mart

We deal with Machine Mart Grimsby fairly regularly. They are simply the best. We had had our eyes on their Clarkes stoves but were struggling to decide between two but only one was available to see. I rang and spoke to Chris and by the time we popped in a few days later he had arranged for Brodie to fetch the alternative out from the back for us to compare. We were therefore able to compare and make a firm decision. Chris and Brodie were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. They did an incredible job of carefully and efficiently lifting the big heavy Richmond II stove into the back of our truck with smiles and a little banter too.
Sincere gratitude to you both - you are the best! Also all of you at Machine Mart Grimsby. You are a terrific team.

After installation we found that one of the parts was faulty. I contacted you and explained that I had already paid someone and rather replace the part we would have the shelving with out the secondary support and perhaps a small refund would be better. Otherwise I would have to pay for it to be re installed. The product was fine and delivered within a few days
