Magic Event is the best event planning company in Southern Sweden and CPH. They have organized my family member’s bachelor party, wedding, as well as several of our birthday celebrations and other special events.

How do you make lightning feel magical and not just scientific? This show figured it out. I still don’t understand how he made lightning freeze in mid-air. Literal chills.

Unprofessional Service and Misleading Advertising

We hired this company for our wedding to provide low-level smoke for our first dance and sparkler effects for the cake cutting and dance. Based on the images shared on their social media, we had high expectations for the quality of the smoke effects. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what was promised.

On the wedding day, the smoke barely covered 1/3 of the floor, requiring us to move closer to the machine just to achieve the desired effect. Upon reviewing the photos and videos afterward, we were extremely disappointed to see that the sparse smoke detracted significantly from the overall aesthetic.

Additionally, the lighting effects were not as we requested. Despite repeatedly specifying that we wanted white lighting, the company used pink and purple lighting, which we explicitly stated we did not want. While we understand that some may prefer these colors, they did not align with our vision and rendered many of our photos and videos unusable.

Every time I look at our photos and videos, it breaks my heart. My dress, which was white, looks purple in all the shots. It’s devastating and completely ruins the memories of our special day.

When we approached Lucas to express our concerns, his response was dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than addressing the issues, we were told that "all other clients were pleased" and that we were the only ones "moaning" about the quality of the smoke. ''The only person moaning about the lack of smoke is you.It's really depressing.''

Such a response is not only unhelpful but also deeply inappropriate for a professional business.

In addition, the smoke machine was positioned on the opposite side of the sparkler effects, making it impossible for our photographer to capture both elements together. Since the smoked only covered 1/3 of the floors, as a result, we had to move closer to the machine's smoke, which placed us uncomfortably far from the sparklers, disrupting the overall visual harmony we had envisioned.

To clarify, these photos were not taken at the very beginning of our first dance, as Lucas claims. We started our dance from opposite sides of the floor, making his explanation inaccurate.

We are extremely disappointed with both the service and the attitude displayed when we raised valid concerns. We cannot recommend this company to others based on our experience.

I would also leave a review on his FB page but he seems to have removed this option after some other people complained on the page.
