This is the third time I've ordered since I found malpas farm shop. Their steaks are to die for,and delivery is first class with DPD. Orders are vacuum packed and with ice packs still frozen. All meat is first class without any of that chemical stuff you get in supermarket pre packed meat. Would recommend them to anyone who likes quality meat, in fact I have got 3 people buying from them now.

Needed fast delivery of meat for an impromtu Fathers Day BBQ. First time using Malpas Farm Shop and was not disappointed. Both sirloin joint and caveman tomahawk superb and excellent value. Shipping, packaging reassuringly good.

Bought the signature steak selection and it was delicious. The portions and cuts per spot on. The order was correct and delivered promptly with in cold packaging for freshness. The quality of the meat was excellent. Will definitely order again.

Superbly cut and presented. Great tasting meat, beautiful moist chicken and perfect steak for the barbecue.

Recently we purchased a Sirloin & fillet steak bundle along with 3Kg of chicken breasts.
Fantastic value for money! So far, we have only eaten the Sirloin steak, the meat was tender and the flavour was very good.
The only issue we had was with the delivery date. I booked a date for when I knew I was going to be off work but the date we chose was disregarded and the meat was delivered days early this caused me a problem, however the meat came well packaged. We would highly recommend Malpas farm shop. Continue the great service but please deliver on the customers selected date.

Quality produce at great prices. Very good communication & ease of ordering online. Was particularly impressed as our delivery was due on hottest day of the year. They emailed to check we would be home to receive delivery & it was very well packed in a box, cool bag & ice packs. Will definitely use again. Highly recommended

Fantastic service, I called the store before ordering as it was a last min order for Father’s Day! They pulled out all the stops and I received everything very well packed, but most of all the steaks are Amazing!! So tasty will definitely be ordering again, thank you!

I purchased my first order a meat box and the first thing I noticed when I opened the steak was an odour that I couldn't put my finger on what it was, I thought maybe it was just the blood and being vacuum packed so we did eat it hesitantly thank god we were ok but it was tough. The same thing happened with the rest of the box thank god it was only a small box, we didn't eat the rump as this was even worse smelling of the same foul smell. A month later three of us decided to give it another go so we visited the shop and had a brevett each plus some other bits sausage and burgers,
The burgers and sausages were ok but the brevett was absolutely vile smelling, it stunk the house out and was like nothing IV ever smelled before, clearly this meat was off, it was stored in the vacuum packaging that it came in and frozen immediately on recieving so stored correctly, besides that how can 3 bramevett steaks for 3 different people stored in 3 different homes all smell the same it is obviously something being sold by malpas. Very disappointed and thank god we didn't risk eating it. Clearly spoiled meat, which can cause salmonella. As a test I put a small piece out for wild animals to eat and guess what it wasn't touched by them either, says it all. That's 3 customers who won't be returning

In response to your reply, yes my order was purchased in store and I didn't contact you as iv seen little evidence on other reviews where anything has been resolved so what was the point you're welcome to have a chat with me no problem with that at all but is there any point as iv a feeling it will be turned back on to me with no resolution hence why I never contacted you. As a regularly user of farm shops and a meat eater of good quality meat since a child I'm aware of good quality or when something isn't up to standard. I'm more disappointed than anything as I thought you were going to be one of my regular go to butchers for quality. Lesson learned if it doesn't smell right play safe and don't eat it.

First of all I'm not going to drive the fairly long distance I live from your shop and back again when there's a high chance nothing will be done like in other cases stated on your reviews.
Secondly you compare yourself to being superior to various supermarkets which is not a like for like comparison.
I don't support supermarkets I support farmers and farm shop produce for all my meat so a like for like comparison to other farms would be a fairer comparison.
As I said before I use various farms f for all my meat but if I come across a new one( to me) i.like to try different places which is how I came to try malpas.
I appreciate you offer of speaking to you which I'm happy to do but I find it pointless because I took the rest of the foul smelling meat from freezer and cooked it for the wild animals I did say this iny first comment even they didn't eat it so it was binned.
Im aware of what vacuum packed meat smells like which does not represent spoilage smell like the meat I had from malpas did.
I appreciate your response to my comments but as a genuine person I have to stand by my findings and won't be returning neither will my 2 friends who also had the same issue.
Im sure you won't miss 3 customers if you are so well used with an outstanding reputation.
Reply. You cannot investigate the matter if it is in the bin due to animals not eating it so how can you resolve it.

After speaking to the owner today who was very pleasant and obliging and and allowed me to explain what had happened with my order, he put his view forward and very kindly resolved the situation to my full satisfaction. Thank you

We Purchased bavette steak , when we opened the packaging the meat had a strange odour, we thought it must be the cut of meat and just froze the meat , we defrosted some tonight for our evening meal , smelt awful , obviously this meat was spoiled meat , when packaged i do not know ? but it was pungent sour and off blood !!! A fowl lingering smell that does not dissapate , took ages to get rid of the smell from our kitchen !!Also we purchased on our visit the free sirloin for £1 offer .. that meat would be great for re-soleing your shoes , it was that tough !! We will definitely NOT be purchasing from this business ever again ...

Very well packaged with freezer packs,kept both parcels Very cold, fathers day bbq,we cooked both the bavette stake and the bbq brisket joint, absolutely fantastic , had a large order so a long way to go ,thank you will order again

Malpas kept me up to date with my order,the pack arrived on the day I ordered it for and in the 1 hour timeslot given. The ribeye, fillet and sirloin were all very tasty, this was my first order with Malpas but it won't be my last
