I had a delivery problem with my order last week and it didnt arrive. The Fat Butcher immediately sent a replacement order which has arrived safely. As always I am delighted with the quality of the meat and I really appreciate their service. 5☆☆☆☆☆

Had two nice orders, second was missing some items butcher credited it fast. Third order arrived 4 days late so meat was spoiled. Filled in form but had no response to claim even though I have emailed several times. Online chat is just a bot. Spent near £100 and have no food or refunded for it. Disappointed and now no idea how to get help

Have not received my order should have had it 23/09/2026. DPD have said they have not received the parcel. I asked for a refund and no one is getting back to me. I cannot afford to lose £59 I am a pensioner

Website update has caused payment issues and multiple times, orders were redirected to old address, despite deleting the old address from my account.

When an issue is encountered, there is no contact number and customer service over email were slow and unhelpful.

Ease of ordering great communication picking your day of delivery

Good selection of meats. Service & delivery was on time & boxed with plenty of cool wrap which kept everything fresh.

The cube steaks look amazing cannot wait to try them. Delivery always iron time and the meat quality is exceptional.

Easy to order on website, choice of delivery dates and easy to alter date within certain restrictions. Food comes well packaged in separate parcels, unfrozen, with ice packs in strong box.

Have been ordering for the last 4 years. Quality has generally been good and the offers usually very good. However, the last two orders did not contain the main part/reason for the order. Customers services give no reason for the omission and offer you credit. Essentially paying market price or above for average quality meat sourced from around the world. Prior to this I have received meat that has gone off with a grotesquely vile smell. I think what started as a good unique business, is now bigger than they can handle so service and quality has significantly gone downhill. I would avoid - there are much better online butchers out there now.

Cancelled my order without telling me and took away credit on my account , customer service ignored my emails .
Will go elsewhere next time

Came in a huge badly insulated box .
Everything defrosted including the single ice bag included.
Meat temperature was 10 degrees on testing. 20 hours in transit. For a 50 mile trip .
Very very poor and was disposed of. Still waiting for a response from the company other than them asking me repeatedly via email to explain the problem. Despite having used e.m online chat and filling out 5 sets of forms including photos. C.c stepped in to refund as company dragging the complaint out .
Will never use again . Not impressed with the photos on Google maps either tbh . Very poor food handling on what can be seen there

Would have given a five, but all the labels had been torn off the steak so I was unable to determine what they all were. Otherwise all ok.

As usual first class delivery meat realy good will be ordering more soon

Had a few issues with the Fat Butcher over the past 6 months, tried to sort it out over the phone and online but little to no joy.
About a month ago 'Darren' one of the owners rang me to find out what the problems were, after explaining the issues, he offered me a full re- order of the previous order (free of charge), this was deliver today at my request,
Yet again quality meat was delivered and I hope to continue my long relationship (over 10 years) with the Fat Butcher.
It was good to see the return of good old fashion customer service and I hope to continue further purchases when my freezer allows me some space. Highly recommended.
