Michael Poole Estate & Lettings Agents Reviews

Excellent sales progression team at Michael Poole. Helen was amazing right from the start. She kept a very close eye on what was happening in the chain and was very proactive about chasing up the other agent and getting updates from solicitors. This is the best sales progression experience I've ever had, having used many other agents in other areas of the UK in the past. And despite all the problems and delays caused by others in the chain, I'm pleased to say we got there in the end. Thank you Helen and team !

We dealt with Alisha Fonseca for the purchase of our property, Alisha was very competent pleasant young lady, and did a great job at each stage of our purchase.

Great help from Danielle & Hollie, smooth process answered any questions I needed. Would recommend using!

Jo Miller from the rental team was fantastic. Made the process really easy to understand and follow as I’d never rented before. Quick to answer any questions I had. Friendly but very professional service.

Very happy with the experience of selling our property with Michael Poole. The advice on price point was spot on. We had several potential buyers very quickly. Craig was very pro active and easily contactable and Ruby stepped in if he was unavailable. We will use them again.

We would like to sincerely thank Niamh at Michael Poole Ingleby Barwick office for all her help and support in getting tenants into our house.

From the very beginning, Niamh has been incredibly helpful in guiding us through the whole process. She has always been quick to respond, professional, and happy to answer any questions we had along the way.

Her knowledge, communication, and dedication made what could have been a stressful process much easier for us. Most importantly, she worked hard to help us find the right tenants for our property, and we are extremely pleased with the outcome.

We genuinely appreciate all of Niamh’s help and would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for an estate agent.

Thank you, Niamh, for all your hard work and support!

Booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance for a valuation and they didn't turn up. They said they'd doubled booked as they were changing over computer systems. This was even though they'd sent us an email that morning reminding us of the appointment.

Our experience with Michael Poole Estate Agent has been very good. Guisborough branch have been excellent helping us all the way to selling our home.
We would definitely recommend them as a professional and helpful service.

I bought a house via Alisha in the Guisborough Office and the service was both personal and professional. The viewing was set up to suit both parties and the post viewing service was excellent.

Great service from Michael Poole Yarm Branch - Stacey, Derek and Nick.

Stacey in particular was the decisive factor in appointing Michael Poole, from the first interaction she was clear and informative on the whole process and was on hand throughout. Would highly recommend.

Great service from start to finish professional , friendly , and always helpful. We would definitely recommend !

Sold my house in Redcar with Michael Poole. Jack came and valued my house and took the photos there and then to avoid the inconvenience of a return visit. Jack was very helpful and a true gentleman. we were also happy with the figure the house sale achieved

Debbie kept us in the loop throughout - it was an involved process for various reasons which Debbie navigated brilliantly - always ensuring that my partner and I was fully up to speed. Highly recommend

Everything went smoothly with my move, I was kept updated , nothing was too much trouble 😀 Alisha was brilliant & answered any of my concerns promptly.

We purchased a home through MIchael Poole, Alisha and Jack were efficient, professional and advocated in our best interests throughout the buying process. We had a complex chain but Alisha ensured communication was effective through to completion. A huge thanks from us and would definitely recommend.

Michael Poole have done a great job helping us through our purchase which was difficult due to probate.
Stacey Holmes was excellent.

The letting agent was extremely helpful and knowledgeable

I do not understand how this firm is rated 4.8 when 10% of the reviews are 1 star and nearly all are complain about misrepresentation. I HAVE COMPLAINED TO TRUSTPILOT ABOUT THIS BUT HAVE BEEN IGNORED. Estate Agents generally hide behind caveat emptor rules to enable the vendor to hide undesirable aspect of the property for sale. But this the first time (and I have bought and sold many houses in my life time) I have come across a fact stated in a advert that was known to be untrue by the agent. I complained to the Managing director Richard Poole by email and written letter but both were ignored. However copies of these sent to the auctioneer were acted upon. Personally I will avoid this estate agent and recommend others to do so.

Great service from Emma and Isobel

My experience was amazing. My estate agent( Ruby Townsend) she's very accommodating. If you email her, she replies right away I had no problems at all. If ever I will buy or sell a house in the future,I will choose Michael Poole to handle it. Thanks Ruby, you're amazing.
