I have dealt with McCarthy Insurance for many years but have specifically dealt with Michaela since January 2023. Michaela is the definition of customer service and I can only say that she has been of huge assistance to me. All queries are promptly answered and I have always felt that she does her absolute best for me. Dealing with someone like Michaela is the reason that I prefer to use a broker for my insurance needs.

We dealt with Cian in the Tralee office when getting my son’s first insurance. I was there with my elderly father who is a long time customer. Cian was so kind and patient. He took our details and proceeded to get a great deal for us. I dealt with Cian for the next 24 hours via phone and email and he made what can be a tedious process as easy as possible. Will definitely be returning to renew all my other insurance policies.

Alan Cleary, the Health & Dental Insurance Manager, was a pleasure to deal with on my Health Insurance renewal. Health Insurance is such a minefield, but he made it really easy for me. He provided me with two options from Irish Life, both cheaper than my VHI plan, and one of them had better benefits than my VHI plan. I went with that one, and sorted everything out on the phone with Alan in minutes. Thanks, Alan.

He suggested 4 options for us, explained the differences between each one and answered all of the questions we had. So rather than being complicated and difficult the process became a breeze. Our health insurance provider experience for a number of years, has been excellent. However having received yet another price rise notification for the coming year I contacted McCarthy Insurance Group in order to shop around. I was immediately taken care of by Alan Cleary (Cork office) who did a marvellous job of assessing our needs and finding the best plan for my wife and I (both in our 70s), which incidentally was our existing health plan.
We were delighted that Alan was so thorough and made sure that we not only stayed on our existing health plan but even negotiated a nice discount in the cost. He also went the ‘extra mile’ by successfully submitting any/all outstanding claims for the last year.
