I cannot recommend Louise in the Cahirciveen office highly enough! She is extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable in every aspect of insurance. From the very first conversation, she went above and beyond to make sure I understood all my options and found the best and cheapest cover for me.
What really stands out about Louise is her genuine care and dedication — she takes the time to explain everything, always responds quickly to any questions, and makes the whole process stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone who combines such professionalism with such a personal touch.

Choosing or continuing a Health Insurance plan is a huge costly commitment and also a minefield of information. Additionally, cover is vital for those of us living with long term illness for peace of mind and to ensure a quality of life. I have been a loyal customer of McCarthy’s Insurance (formerly Kavanagh’s Insurance, Castlemaine) for many years, and their customer service has always been outstanding. From the very beginning, they have shown genuine honesty, care, and professionalism in every interaction.

Recently, after being treated very unfairly and turned away by Aviva Insurance, I walked into McCarthy’s with a detailed letter explaining my situation. Cian immediately understood what had happened and took all the stress and worry away from me. Within minutes, he had everything organised, explaining each step clearly and making the entire process effortless.

Cian is a true professional attentive, understanding, and fully committed to finding the best possible solution for his customers. Through McCarthy’s, I now have multiple policies in place and complete confidence that I am being looked after with honesty and respect.

As someone who has been in business for many years myself, respect, honesty, and care have always been my own code of practice, and I recognise those same values in how McCarthy’s operate. Because of that, I am now also contemplating offering Cian the opportunity to find me a reasonable quote on my house insurance, as I know he will deliver the same outstanding service once again.
