Sadly the delivery was nearer to 5 weeks (actually 4 weeks 4 days) rather than the stated 2-3 weeks. Otherwise ok, but be prepared to wait over a month.

I paid about €12,000 for…

I paid about €12,000 for champagnes...they canceled my order and refunded me €700 less!!!

Dear Sir,
When you placed your order you placed it on our Swiss website for a delivery in Switzerland : prices and conditions are for delivery in Switzerland.
As your delivery address was in Greece we informed you : the prices, and conditions are different for delivery in Greece.
For a delivery in Greece payment is in euro where for a delivery in Switzerland you payment is in Swiss Franc.
As you pay in Swiss franc when we cancelled your order we reimburse you the exact amount you have paid in Swiss Franc.
As you are based in Greece, the difference is certainly due to the conversion to the conversion rate of your bank and the transfer cost outside Europe.
You should contact your bank concerning the conversion rate.

Outstanding customer service

Firstly, Millesima had a wine in stock which I couldn't find anywhere. Even the restaurant we originally bought the wine in couldn't obtain it for me.

Ordering via the website was easy and I received an initial discount on the cost of the order. Initially indicated lead time to delivery was 3 months. I was very pleased to receive an email last week informing me that the wine was now in my local warehouse and asking me when would I like it delivered. Our delivery arrived on the correct day and time in perfect condition and exactly a month earlier than expected. Flawless service.

Well worth the wait

Slow delivery but within specified timescale. No doubt another result of Brexit!
Helpful, courteous staff. Outstanding range of wines. Would use again.

Still waiting 7 months later but now here

I paid a VAT invoice at the beginning of May and wondered where the wine was by the end of June. I was told there were problems and that my order would leave Millesima's cellar within a couple of weeks and that LCB would contact me at this end.
6 months later I have no wine and no further correspondence.
Further to this I think it important to say that the wine all eventually turned up not long after some further correspondence with Millesima. They'd always responded when contacted although they were impossible to contact by phone and sadly I had to make an enquiry before anything happened. However, I now have the wine, are reassured they are real and despite this huge delay would use them again when the price is right.

BEWARE MILLESIMA IF YOU ARE AN ENGLISH CUSTOMER

It turns I am one of a number of unhappy customers who are still waiting for their wine despite being told that "we estimate deliveries will start from mid-August".

I have also sent several emails that have not been answered.

It's difficult to avoid the conclusion that either the company doesn't care about its English customers or is in difficulty.

As another reviewer says, it is particularly galling to receive more marketing material this morning.

Unable to deliver

I placed an order with Millesima at the start of September and, after quite a bit of chasing, was told that they have a shipping issue but that this was being resolved and that the order should be with me in October or November. It is now 18th November and I have not received any updates on when I can expect to receive the order.

I have tried emailing customer care but have had no response and no one answers the phone on +44 2080891875. They have said in response to other posts on Trustpilot that they remain at customers' disposal but this is clearly nonsense as they are completely uncontactable.

They have just also send me a brochure with the following on the front cover: “Add sparkle and splendour to your Christmas and New Year meals”. There is no possible way that they could deliver wine to people by the end of December so this feels like it must be a scam.

Delivery of wines that was supposed to…

Delivery of wines that was supposed to arrive in March 2022 is still delayed to my warehouse as of Nov 2022. Don’t buy from them. Hassle.

AVOID AT ALL COST

Between December 2020 and January 2021, I purchased 2 batches of en-primeur wines from Millesima. My orders were both in the thousands of pounds. At point of purchase, it clearly stated 'THESE WINES WILL BE READY FOR DELIVERY EARLY 2022'. 

14 December 2021, I was informed by Nathalie PIRO from Millesima that they should have received all my wines by late March 2022 and they will let me know when they have an exact date. 

29 March 2022, no wines were received. I have previously furnished them with the bond’s delivery address and my BBR storage account reference. 

30 March 2022, I was told that some of the wines have not been released yet and due to Covid-19, some raw material suppliers (wooden crates, glass bottles) have longer supply lead times. They hope to receive my wines by April or May 2022, once wines are bottled and packed.

22 April 2022, no updates whatsoever. At this point, I was considering purchasing 2020 en-primeur wines, but because I have not received my 1st batch of wines, I was naturally wary. I emailed them for a status update on the delivery of my wines and Philippine DUNOYER from Millesima responded to say that shipments by road from France to UK are still on hold until further notice. 

In that same correspondence, she said she cannot give me an estimated delivery date, but hopefully by June. She promised to give me an update as soon as the next shipment is planned.

Given all the red flags, I obviously didn't purchase any more en-primeur wines from them.

20 June 2022, I emailed for another update on the delivery of my wines. Nathalie PIRO responded to say they still can't confirm when my wines could leave their cellar. She said 'We are almost ready and will be able to resume shipment this summer'. 

2 August 2022, I emailed once again for another update on the delivery of my wines. Nathalie PIRO responded to say 'we still don’t have the green light to arrange our consignment to BBR. We should be able to provide an update later in August for delivery in September'. 

15 September 2022, I emailed once again for an update on the delivery of my wines. This time they said 'due to high volumes shipped to our partner LCB’s warehouse it takes longer time then expected to complete deliveries of previous shipments. At this stage we can not confirm shipping date to BBR but hopefully it will be planned for October/November.'. 

Given my horrible experience, I would advise the wider public to avoid purchasing wines from Millesima at all costs. They have failed to deliver on their promise again and again. It does make me wonder if they are just an elaborate scam. They may respond to this review by offering a full refund, but they have held my monies since Dec 2020/Jan 2021. I just want them to do the honorable thing and deliver my wines as promised.

Indeed en-primeurs were released late this year due to global dry material supply issues also we faced several difficulties following Brexit to reorganize our logistics chain for shipping from France to UK. As explained in our last update from the 16th September, we have resumed shipping now but due to huge volumes shipped to our partner LCB’s warehouse, we can not proceed all in once and it takes longer time then expected to complete deliveries.
We should plan your delivery to BBR for October/November hopefully.
Please be sure we work as fast as possible and we will keep you posted about progress. Your wines will be delivered as promised soon. Thank you for your patience again.

AVOID

I ordered wine from them in 2019 which was due to be delivered in April 2021. They have now stopped replying to emails and I am still waiting for my wine. Avoid them at all costs, there are plenty of other wine dealers who are able to deliver wine on time.

Pretty poor

Pretty poor. Ordered some wine as a gift for special occasion for a friend. Two month later, the wine is still not delivered. The excuse they give me is that they had delays in sourcing the wine. Well I think Millesima shouldn't be selling something ythey haven't sourced yet. Because now my friend is going to receive his wine 2/3 months late. It's like receiving your Christmas gift in March... not impressed.

Email and phones do not work - legitimate or not?

NONE of your telephone numbers work - I have tried every country number that you have adevertised. The emails are unanswered and one address has bounced back. I'm still trying to sort out an order placed 8 months ago for a wedding that has now been and gone. I don't just want a refund - I want an apology and a determination of whether this company is a total scam because so far it looks very much like it. More fool me.

Its wine, whats the rush?

Took a while to arrive. Ordered in Jan and arrived in April. This isnt their fault its the fault of the British public who voted leave. Buying wine not really available elsewhere online for a great price and its wine, whats the rush? Would buy again. Thanks

Unable to organise a p up in a wine cellar

Ordered in the new year, still waiting for my delivery mid April. Absolutely no communication from them until I started questioning whether they were legitimate in February. At that point they promised delivery - nothing. I then get an email on the 28th of March promising me that I’d be getting delivery within 2 weeks, again still nothing. I’m not sure whether they are just atrociously managed, incompetent or a scam. Either way avoid like the plague if you actually want your wine.

Lots of promises about wines coming but not seen anything so far. No other merchant seems to have the same difficulties getting wines from France into the UK. Jury very much out but hoping.
