I recently visited Millets in Uckfield and had a fantastic shopping experience, thanks to a wonderful staff member named Poppy.

From the moment I walked in, Poppy greeted me with a warm smile and offered her assistance.
I was looking for some outdoor gear, and Poppy's knowledge about the products was impressive.

She patiently answered all my questions and provided excellent recommendations based on my needs. Her friendly and professional demeanor made the entire shopping process enjoyable.
Poppy went above and beyond to ensure I found everything I needed, even checking the stockroom for a specific item. Her dedication to customer service truly stood out, and I left the store feeling very satisfied with my purchases.
Overall, Poppy's exceptional service made my visit to Millets a memorable one. I look forward to my next visit and seeking out Poppy for any future purchases.

Isaac was so helpful today helping me find some new walking boots. I really felt I had the time to choose and he gave me plenty of options. Everyone showed us great customer service today.

Went into the store to look at the different types of hiking boots. Tried on a couple of different pairs trying to see which ones I liked, then one of the workers came over and started to explain why one of the pair of boots wouldn’t suit my foot shape. He went and got a pair he thought would work for my feet and explained how to tie them to support my feet more when I’m walking, as he looked at my feet and saw I had a high instep. Learnt a lot in half an hour talking to him about boots and laces that I never knew about before. The boots were on sale. Extremely grateful for Simons help and expertise.

I came into store to look for hiking socks. They were on discount. I was trying to assess the range of options by reading the labels. A staff member came over to help, telling me pros and cons of different brands. I learned the washing instructions and, as a bonus, I got some advice about tying hiking hoot laces can affect both comfort and fit of the sock/boot combo. Needless to say, I purchased a good choice of hiking socks and left with lots of extra info too!

I bought a pair of Peter Storm Snowdon II walking boots in store today. The assistant was very knowledgeable and advised me how to check the size, how to lace them up correctly and how to care for them. What's more, as I had seen them on line he matched that price and included the store sale discount. The sale offers also extended to the Nikwax cleaning and proofing products which he recommended.
You don't get that sort of service on-line.

Helped in store by both Rocco and Issac. Both were knowledgable and keen to find me the correct walking jacket for January days. I’d looked at Millets online but glad I visited the store.

The shop only had one. Pam ordered three for me in store. They came with in 2 days of ordering. It was a busy time near Christmas. Pam in the Uckfield branch was really helpful and kind.

Wanted to purchase some new walking boots, problem is I have large wide feet. I was assisted by Isaac who was pleasant, knowledgeable, polite and above all patient. Got the boots I needed and left happy.

What excellent service we received from the wonderful and knowledgeable staff at the Uckfield branch! We went in to buy a bag, with very specific requirements and the customer service received really helped us to make the right choice.
Thank you to the very nice man who helped us (sorry we didn’t get his name), he even took the time to recommend my daughter books and how to fold a coat into a pillow!!!!! What a superstar - deserves a raise!!!

The staff in this shop are always friendly and helpful. On 2 January I went in to look at rucksacks, and the member of staff on duty was quietly helpful, without being in any way pushy. Shopping here is always a pleasure.

Went to miller's do buy new coat so good i brought 2 of them typhoon coat 100% waterproof warm with a fleece so comfortable comes with hood inside pocket velcro straps for arms fits me perfectly. 10/10 i just love this coat thankyou millets

Visited the Uckfield store today. Got a great waterproof coat in the sale and saved even more by being National Trust members. I was served by Ben who was very helpful, as he has been on past visits to the store. Even though I didnt have my dog today, I love the fact that dogs are welcome and fresh water is provided for them.

This store is consistently excellent! The staff are so experienced, they really know products inside out and care about what you are looking for. Simon is absolutely brilliant, he always listens and gives outstanding advice. Best outdoor store around!
