Jh500 wait and see
The delivery person gave me a cursory run through of the layout and seemed in a hurry. The scooter jh500 I am very pleased with overall, but having read such poor reviews of Greenpower scooters has disappointed me a little and may have made a difference when choosing a scooter initially.
I hope my experience with the scooter will prove positive.

Bought a grey Fastest scooter with lithium battery.
Very impressed with the quality of build, the price compared to other makes, the spec which exceeds any other that I've seen and the delivery including a comprehensive rundown with Paul. I've had a couple of queries to Greenpower, emailed back promptly. A tip would be: Watch the turning circle, it's easy to catch the front mudguards!

Had my new 'The Fastest' scooter…
Had my new 'The Fastest' scooter delivered today. It looked better than I thought it would. The style is fantastic and with all the features it comes with i was blown away. The service from these guys was faultless. Our delivery driver Marc was kind, polite delivered on time and was fun to talk to. On Wednesday 29th July Malcolm
On Wednesday 29th July Malcolm, an engineer from Green Power, arrived at the time slot allocated to me. He was a very pleasant person who discussed with me the problem with the scooter. He then set about checking the scooter to find that for some unknown reason the motor had stopped working and was able to replace it there and then. I had only had the scooter a few weeks and only used it about six times. It is a lovely scooter and I was very pleased under the warranty he was able to get me going again. Thank you Malcolm for your kind and understanding help.

Where do i start ordering your scooter…
Where do i start ordering your scooter is a pleasing experience while they are taking your money. Unfortunatley i had an issue with the charger and had an unpleasurable experience trying to get a replacement resulting in being shouted at by someone claiming to be a director of the company, the problem was finally resolved so i left it at that. Further down the line i needed some parts for the scooter (my fault) but whilst i was having the parts fitted i enquired about a new battery and was confidentley sold by there sales team a lithium battery being informed it lasted longer (3 years+) at a cost much greater than a normal battery. I am a young user of a mobility scooter and rely heavily on it so thought it was a better option. 9 months the battery has lasted and then died i followed charging instructions correctley and everything!. I called green power mobility with my problem to be told the only thing i could do was purchase the other at extra cost £440 which i just dont have im a vulnerable adult and single parent and feel that they have completely misrepresented the item sold to me. overall a really dissapointing experience, which is such a shame.

According to our records, the lithium battery was purchased as an upgrade from the original lead-acid batteries after you had purchased your scooter. We cannot see any previous record of the lithium battery being replaced due to a fault before the issue you have recently reported.
We would also like to clarify that our Company Director does not routinely deal with customer calls, and our records do not show that you have spoken with our Company Director regarding this matter, or with anyone from our company claiming to be the Company Director.

Great piece of kit
Great piece of kit, well pleased with my purchase. Does not look like a regular mobility scooter more like a 3 wheeled motor scooter. So many bells and whistles. Love the fact it has a reverse. Simple to use. The mechanic John who delivered it was great, made sure I was happy with it .I took it for a brief spin and was surprised how nippy it was in mode 2,(8mph)

Fitting solid tyres
John arrived at my house around 11am to fit 4 solid tyres to my fastest scooter, he had to park around the corner of the street as there was no parking spaces available he told us what the job involved and said it would take around 25 minutes, so I gave him the keys and off he went around the corner to his van to fit the tyres he had the job done within the stated time that he said. Thank you to John for a professional job well done.

There's no help with info unless your paying. Other companies are a lot better with being able to buy parts with out being over charged and then your over charged for post.
Do not buy green power at all.
